Biggest issue was we woke up to a bathroom infested with ants. The hotel lobby smelled great when we walked in. The room was spacious. We didn't get much service because our stay was short. But everyone was pleasant.

Nice location, near to the IT companies and close by to the Target super store. Rooms are good and clean. But they do not provide drinking water. They service twice a week complimentary breakfast. It also has a Good restaurant and bar.

I wish I would have gotten the woman’s name who checked me in last night. Such a beautiful soul and made my check-in experience awesome! I would come back just because of how pleasant she was! Thank you again! 10/10

This is my favorite Marriott property in the area as they consistently have clean rooms and superb service. I have never had a complaint about this location!Additionally, the prices are always very reasonable and the location is perfect with easy access to the freeway. There is a Target on the other side of the parking lot, and across the street there is a shopping center with everything else you may need, including a pharmacy, fast food, coffee shop, and upscale dining.

The kind 2 gentlemen that worked on the same night as Beyoncé’s concert (August 30th,2023) need a raise!!!!!! The security guard and the clerk were both so accommodating and they went above and beyond to make sure my best friend and I were safe and comfortable. Thank you both so much. God bless you guys !!

I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in the third week of May 2023. It was the worst hotel stay I have had. Water was out most of the stay. It was full of sediment when it was working. The fire alarm was on at night. Even when we were allowed to go back, the fire alarm continued to blare.I gave it two stars since there was some staff that was truly trying to help and give bottles of water even though most of the staff acted like this is normal: "don't worry about flushing the toliet".The weekend prior to my stay, I went camping at the Observatory Campground at Palomar Mountain. Let me compare and contrast my stay at the hotel vs. the campground:1) Observatory Campground has flush toilets. Courtyard Marriott does not have water or flush toilets.2) The campground has coin-operated showers. During my stay, I walked to Target to get some bottle water, so I could wash up. At least the Target was in walking distance and opens at 8a.2a) The campground has hot water. The hotel does not have water and is full of sediment when it did have water.3) At night, there is a sound of a creek running near the campsite. At Courtyard, there is a fire alarm running and guest have to evacuate even though there is no fire. After we are allowed back, the alarm continue to make sleep impossible.4) Observatory campground cost $15/night. My double queen with sofa bed average right above $450/night with tax.The hotel refused to discount the stay. They offered some points though that would not even cover 1 night of a stay at the same hotel for a smaller room.

I was upgraded as a Platinum Elite to an Executive King room which was superb- very large room with big windows and lots of space!Friendly staff greeted me each time I passed by. Wonderful water pressure in the shower- usually modern hotels have such weak showers lately.Decent location walkable to a few restaurants and shopping options - shares a parking lot with a Target.

The personnel, service, lobby, restaurant, bar, and meeting areas are very nice, but as a hotel it lacks a little bit.For instance, there is only one location inside the hotel I could locate to get water (inside the gym). You have glasses, coffee, a coffee maker in the room, an ice machine on each floor, but no water. A decanter of water in the room (like other locations in the area provide) is a strong suggestion. My room had hair all around it, and a half eaten bagel dried up under the edge of the sofa. This happens sometimes but I would like to see it more tidy. There is a laundry room that comes with free detergent, but no change dispenser. You have to ask for $4 in quarters at the front desk (when they have it).Otherwise, it was a decent location.

The hotel was clean and nice. They were doing some updating when I went so I’m sure it will be even better the next time. I went for a work trip and this was close to the hotel but not surrounded by traffic which was nice. It’s also very convenient to have a Target literally in the same parking lot haha especially when traveling as you always forget something or just to grab drinks and snacks. Across the street there is a strip of small restaurants and Starbucks that opens at 5am! So that was great since the time change had me waking up super early since I’m use to CT not PT.

Me , My Husband & 2 girls stood at the Marriott hotel 9-17-21 . On the first day of check in , I noticed there was an ant problem in the bathroom . By the next morning , the ants were ruining my makeup & all over the sink . . I didn't want to make A big deal about the situation because the ants were tolerable at the time . 2nd night , before falling asleep around 11:30 p.m we feel bugs crawling on us . I turned on the light to discover the culprit is from Ants... at this point , I can no longer tolerate the ant problem but I chose to kill the ants & try my best to sleep because we didn't want to have to wake up my girls - who are 1 & 2 yrs of age & switch rooms so late into the night . I'd be A hassle & there was no guarantee the 2nd room would be any better than the room we were booked in. On my third day while packing & preparing to exit my stay , I spotted A cock roach scavenging in the closet . I was so grossed out and told my husband enough is enough , I'm going to make A scene to the front desk now. I'm done being nice and respectful . The employees apologized for the terrible experience & told me they'd waive the full cost for my unpleasant stay . 4 days aft my stay , My bank goes into negative credit because Marriott charged me 100% cost . I immediately reached out to the account Dept who didn't answer & Manager - Mary Ann who did answer . She apologized for the bad stay , said she could only comp me for 1 night & bill me for 1 night & went as far as to basically say I'm lying about the cockroach because I didn't make A big deal about the room day 1. She admitted to ants problem but not roach , she says professional treat the hotel all the time and there's no way bugs are in the room . I told her you can't be certain because people from all walks of life check in & out of hotels every day . The manager was very unfair and difficult to communicate with . I wouldn't had written the review if my stay was fully comped as I was promised.TLDR : ANTS & ROACH First Floor - Room # 106

Easy check in and we were able to check in around 11ish. Very very clean bathroom, sofa, bed and rug is very clean. Room doesn't have any bad odors at all like other hotels that I've stayed at in San Jose. Very pleased with our stay. Would definitely stay here again.
