This was my first time selling at crossroads and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. I tried to be positive but it was such a letdown being there for over 3 and a half hours. I came in at 11am to sell my clothes I had about 3 bags and I waited 3 hours until they saw my clothes. Mind you while I waited there was 3 others girls looking through people’s clothes to sell. Two of the other girls were taking their sweet time with the clothes and would barely sell any of it. Only one of your employees was actually moving quickly and selling a lot of the clothing items. She would call out at least 3 names by the hour while one of your other employees took about TWO hours to look through two bags of clothes. It did not look like she knew what she was doing and I do not mean to be rude, but this is my first time writing a review because I am genuinely flabbergasted by your employees. You expect me to wait over 3 hours at your store? I understand that it takes a while, but I was not expecting to wait that long. All for only less than 10 of my items to be sold. While I see Shein clothing on your racks and other cheap fast fashion. It is disappointing only one of your employees looked like they knew what they were doing.

I’ve been selling at Crossroads around the Bay Area for over 10 years. The buyers at this location are slow and extremely selective, they are pretty much just chit chatting with each other with no urgency to get through the queue. I came in to sell and was told it would be about a 45 minute wait but after 2 hours, just decided to leave. If you come in and you’re more than 5th in line, prepare to wait forever or come back on another day.If you’re coming here to shop, you’ll most likely be in luck. Due to their prime location in San Jose they get a bunch of great stuff. Whenever I visit I usually leave with at least one great find.

Very clean and organized thrift store. Staff is really nice and helpful. Found some good finds, winter sweaters.

The staff working at this substandard location was neither very helpful nor nice. They also did not clearly explain what styles they were looking for until after I got there. It truly was a waste of time. I recommend NOT going to this location unless you call ahead of time and explain what you have to the manager so you don’t waste your time. The customer service needs to improve and be more welcoming especially for first time sellers. Also, I don’t think they should hold your ID while looking through your clothes. It seems unnecessary when they can just check your age on your ID and return it to you. This store requires a lot of procedure for such a mediocre place with unfriendly service for used clothes!

Ok so it was my first time in this place and i was trying to sell express polos, dickies pants, tommy hifliger polo, a couple t- shirts, a calvin klein suit and 3 cardigans. I signed up for the waiting list which was about an hour wait. Once I received the message I headed back to the store with my items and she told me to give her a couple minutes to go through my stuff. She was done about 3 minutes after and called my phone to head back inside. When I walked in most of my clothes were on the floor, she said that they were looking to buy for fall season so she only picked up 2 items which were the two express polo’s. She offered me $16.50 cash or $30 in store credit. I declined the offer kindly and told her I appreciated her help and thanked her for her time. She seemed visibly upset and told me next time to stay in the store and not leave. I just said ok and headed back to my car with my clothes. However, before I even drove to the store, I had counted how many pieces I was taking which was a total of 14 items. I put the stuff in my car and counted them again only to find out there was 13 items. I noticed that there was a red cardigan missing so I headed back into the store and she was walking towards me from the back of the store and said “ I was just about to call you” as she was holding the red cardigan in her hand. She took off the price tag and gave it back to me. I said thank you and she didn’t even bother responding. Now don’t get me wrong I’m not saying that she was trying to steal or lie to me, but it sure as hell feels that way. Why would she tell me she only picked up two items when in reality she had three. Did she honestly forget about the third piece of clothing?

I like this store because every time I went there I could find interesting clothes or handbags which are not available in the market anymore. They even have a vintage section which I like a lot. I feel sorry for those previous reviewers who didn't get nice service but for me the staffs I met were nice and helpful.

I finally ventured in to sell an aloha shirt that was a size too big. I'm very impressed with the process and with the store - it's better than any thrift store or discount store for finding neat clothes, and the selling procedure is pretty easy - you log in at a tablet near the door, wait until they call your name, take your stuff and look at it for a varying amount of time depending on how much stuff there is, then give you two prices: What they'll pay cash and what they'll pay in store credit. It was very busy when I went in, Thursday evening around 5:30. Lots of people buying, and several selling. I'm very pleased and will be back.

I've been selling items here for over 5 years, all kinds of great current labels + high end labels. Went in again today and brought in 5 bags of all kinds of great clothing brands. After an hour wait, they took 3 items, 3! I found that the buyers tend to be young, most likely taking in brands just for the millennial but how about older women/men? I would suggest hiring buyers that are beyond college years so they know that some labels will sell - just not to the younger crowd.

I agree to other comment about them not buying any larger size clothing took in 2 bags full of mostly new clothes up to size 3X all name brand stuff Ralph Lauren , Nike , aerie etc and absolutely nothing was choose to be purchased, bummer tbh don't recommend buying from here as they don't support larger demographic

Come here to have stuck-up hipster kids judge your clothing and offer you pennies on the dollar. Save yourself the humiliation and just donate.

- nice clothes- lots of selections - overpriced Main point is that cross roads is getting way too overpriced. I spent around $40 for two items.. at a thrift store. Thrifting used to be cheap with all items under $5. Didn't think cross roads would succumb to capitalism.
