“John/ Jon”:The male receptionist is quite rude and disrespectful. His comments are unnecessary and inappropriate to any and all patients. As a medical professional, I find his behavior appalling. I’m astonished how he’s managed to keep this job, considering how he continues to belittle patients. I’m not sure what audacity he has to speak to patients so disgustingly. The comments he makes are not constructive, helpful, nor kind. Kindness goes a long way, a lot more than shame. I go out of my way to avoid this male individual in phone and in person. Please reflect on this constructive criticism.Thank you to the female receptionists who are receptive, quick, and cordial. As a patient, all I’m asking is for respect, and not being talked down to. I don’t need to spill and explain my life in order to be treated with dignity. This review is a long time coming. I’ve been a patient here for at least 5 years and he’s still talking down to patients. Perhaps this clinic doesn’t care how the patients are treated by staff members. It shows by the manner they speak to people. Quite a disgrace to the medical association.

OMG. i havent even been seen yet (my apt in in 3 weeks) but the staff is arguably the most unhinged group of people. I have asked if my ultrasound came in and they acted confused because my PCP already provided it to them. They proceeded to ask the who/what/when/where question but when it came the time for me to answer them, THEY interrupted me. I had to firmly says "well, you'd know the answer if you actually stop interrupting me and let me finish talking". That shut them up. Hold your ground everyone! They can be rude and so can YOU. Oh, I can't wait to finally go in for my apt and interact with them.

I do not often write reviews, but I took time out of my busy schedule to write a deserving one. I couldn’t agree more with the comments I read here with staff being rude. I have never experienced and witnessed a doctor’s office who treats their patients so rudely until yesterday. I called to schedule an appointment for my dad and talked to Isabel. She was extremely rude and not personable at all. She should never be in this industry. With her unacceptable demeanor, I do not think she’ll fit in any industry. She seems annoyed and hates her job so much that she takes it out on patients. She needs to understand that patients who go to that office are not well and she should be more compassionate. Bad business practice. The management needs to take this feedback seriously. This is extremely sad knowing that there are individuals who treats people this way. Isabel needs to take a training course and learn the importance of telephone etiquette, professionalism, and the definition of customer service.

I've been seeing Dr. Cabaccan for few years now. But guess what, they had lost a patient because their staff. I had an appointment and arrived 5 mins early. Nurse came took my blood pressure and weight, but since their no room available, I will have to wait in the lobby. That's fine. But an hour later, I am still in the lobby waiting. I went to asked the Vietnamese receptionist how much longer to see the doctor. Oh she said maybe 15-30 minutes more. Mind you this appointment will only take the doctor less than 10 mins to go over my lab work. I told them I need to reschedule and didn't expect this appointment to be this long of a wait! What is an appointment for? Doctor running behind should have notified the patients about it. Not professional at all. While the Vietnamese receptionist helping me to reschedule, this other male receptionist butts in about the issue. And he had the audacity to said that I need to look for another provider that would work with my schedule. I waited for an hour from my schedule appointment and he was rude and care less about their patient. Definitely I won't be coming back to this office anymore. They can keep on running like ghetto office, selling fruits...yes lady came in with bags of fruits and male receptionist and others from the office buying fruits! I guess it's a weekly thing because fruit lady saying "I'll bring watermelon next week."Come on it's a doctor's office. Horrible and rude. Now I know why this place is ghetto. Go find another doctor. Don't be like me, settle whatever...not anymore! Not worth your time. No manner, rude and unprofessional. Hope those receptionist knows where their paycheck coming from.

There's a fat stick with porcupines all the way up Cabaccan's ass. First time meeting with this arrogant ass, Waiting over an hour to see him and wasting so much time to get there, wait, and have 5 min convo. He's pathetic the way he treats patients. Doesn't even introduce himself and barely tries to understand the patient. He argued with me, like seriously? Says I'm a know it all? Are you serious? You seriously need to take a damn good look at yourself. Have fun getting reported to the medical board on many levels you shit "doctor."

This office is far too busy and overwhelmed to care about your individual needs. I began by seeing Dr. Cabaccan as he had been my dad's endocrinologist for a decade. He seemed to understand graves disease better than any endocrinologist I had ever seen. I actually paid for him out of pocket as he did not accept my insurance. Began noticing changes in the office after about a year of care. It was difficult to schedule appointments. You're always on hold or don't get responses or calls back. My last appointment the doctor was actually "in transit" while on the call. My father's last visit they moved his room severall times because the room was already held for someone else. He was also supposed to be prescribed an antibiotic for an infection he was fighting and they prescribed him the wrong medication. It was levothyroxine. Which if your a thyroid patient with graves you know that this can be detrimental to your health, as it is actually a medication to increase your thyroid function. With graves we have an overactive thyroid. Luckily I knew what it was or my dad would have continued to take it. It was malpractice at it's finest and we never even received so much as a call from the actual doctor. Most of the office staff is rude, except Jon. You'll regret using this office if you want any type of quality care. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

I have the General feeling that I am waiting in a patient assembly line. This practice was referred to me by my urologist, it took me 5-6 weeks to get an appointment, after the doctor cancelled on my 4 days prior to my appointment.I specifically asked the front desk receptionist if the doctor reviewed my blood results and if I required another blood test, prior to my appointment with the doctor.During the appointment process I requested a notification be sent to me by email so I could put it my Google calendar, the receptionist failed to send me notification resulting in me going to the wrong clinic, there's two by the way. So I saw the doctor via a tablet. The doctor essentially explained to me basic information about my hormone levels and then requested another blood test.I feel like I'm wasting my time and money with this doctor and their practice, there are at least a dozen people in the waiting room at any time. A very impersonal experience.I do NOT recommend but I will change my review if the 2nd appointment is better.

Extremely rude and incompetent office and scheduling personnel! If you make an appointment with MD Cabaccan, you will likely not get seen by him and personnel won’t tell you that ahead of time. Depressing office decor at the Los Gatos office.

Super smart, intelligent, knowledgeable, and gets things done. Happy to be Dr. Cabaccan's patient. He is compassionate and explains things and takes the time to help. I highly recommend Dr. Cabaccan. I send my parents to him because I know he's can help manage their debates. Thank you to his long time staff!!

Dr. Cabaccan is one of the rudest and most arrogant doctors I have ever met. He has no manners. He should go back to school and learn how to treat his patients. Secondly, also makes you wait for 1-2.5 hours until he sees you. Third, he forgets what he tells you from one appointment to another. He probably overbooks his schedule and does not take his time to at least chart accurately so he can see what he talked about with his patients during the previous visits. My mom was referred by her PCP she was going for about 3-4 years. On her first visits with him, he was ok, but in the last 3 appointments, he has been a complete jerk. I am a nurse and I know the f@&& he is talking about, because he treats his patients like we don't know. He swears he is an "I know it all". We are Hispanics and our culture, beliefs, and body are NOT the same as his race he kept comparing HIS mom's weight/height to my mom's. He said his mom was very healthy that she is petite that her culture is very healthy and don't eat as much as us (I am guessing he was referring to Hispanics). Very disrespectful YELLING at me that my mom did not know how to eat and that she had to lose weight. I kept telling him that I didn't like the way he was expressing himself and he kept saying "Well you should be open to what I am telling you if you want your mom to live longer". I even told him that my mom is following a nutritionist and was yelling "Well you should fire them and get your money because they are not doing their job she is still overweight or do you see any change? Nutritionists don't know what they are doing they ALL are fat". It was just a long discussion back to back I had with him. I appreciate doctors' recommendations, but they need to learn the appropriate way and respectfully express their recommendations to patients. I felt he was racist and body-shaming my mom. He kept assuming we eat foods that usually Mexicans eat just because of our race. First, of all, he should get on a diet before telling his patients (but he swears he is very fit and healthy), but like he said his body says otherwise. He should look for classes that will help him to extend his knowledge of cultural awareness and make him more open to unfamiliar attitudes, practices, behaviors, etc. I just realized his yelp score it's so low.

My wife went to the office for a test and found out it was thyroid cancer. Dr. Cabaccan pursued every viable means for my surgery by recommending me to the best doctors. Dr. Cabaccan saved my life. From September until February he has regularly called to check on me even if I did not have an appointment. His assistant Jon has been professional and helpful at all times including late night hours and weekends. My surgery was successful thanks to Dr. Cabaccan. Dr. Cabaccan spends up to an hour with his patients making sure they understand all issues concerning their diagnosis. Sometimes it causes him to run late for his appointments. I applaud his care and concern for the patient.
