My review is based entirely on comparison to other Dollar Tree stores, starting with 5 stars:Friendly staff. +1Disorganized. -1Understaffed. -1Some food is more than a month past the date on the packaging. -1Falsely advertise cards are "2 for $1" while they ring up at $1 each. -1Cashier broke down a snack pack into individual components. The pack which used to cost $1 now costs $15 (12 x $1.25). -1A lot of packages were tampered with (acrylic paints were open and crushed/squeezed, popcorn bags lost air when being held in hand so they have holes) -1In total, I give this location 0/5

Typical national chain offering $1.25 general merchandise. Most stores laid out similarly with frozen foods in the back of store. Because of the price hike some items are cheaper now in supermarkets.

For those of you who don't know it, Dollar Tree is now Dollar and a Quarter Tree. Almost everything is $1.25. But you don't get to know this until you hit the register. Yes, there are $1.25 signs around, but they're non-specific (looking like only those items are $1.25). Anyway, there's a sign at the register with the new regime--everything is $1.25 unless otherwise priced (which is almost nothing). Most importantly, the store was very poorly stocked--lots of empty shelves. Found almost nothing I came for and spent the same for four items that I would have spent for five last month. Thank you Joe Biden!

I like the Almaden Road Dollar Tree, it's clean, employees are nice, always have what I need or want in stock....the only bad thing is the line(s) are very long. I was like tenth in line today and had only 1 cashier working. At the same time, there were a couple of employees standing around the front of the store...

From the outside it looks ok. Once you go in it is equally as disgusting as all the others but what topped it off was the rude employees. If you don't like your job spare the rest of us and go somewhere else.

And 2 stars is almost too generous. Everytime I go to that location for a specific health/1st aid need, 100% of the time I can be sure it's the 1 thing the store manager stopped ordering. I needed their version of Imodium AD today for my IBS. Pepto and those weak remedies won't do. And sure enough. Zero to be found. Hence it's become more & more rare I visit that location.
