Explorer Preschool is a beloved community that offers a unique and nurturing environment for children and their families. The preschool emphasizes social-emotional learning, enabling children to build emotional intelligence and form meaningful relationships. With a play-based approach, children are encouraged to explore, create, and learn through hands-on experiences, whether it's painting, running barefoot, or engaging in nature activities like creek exploration at Vasona Park. Parents appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere, where dedicated teachers create strong connections with students. The school fosters a sense of belonging, allowing families to form lifelong friendships while participating in classroom activities and parent education classes. Parents value the positive discipline practices that help children communicate effectively and develop problem-solving skills. Explorer Preschool is described as more than just an educational institution; it is a family. The teachers are recognized for their kindness, patience, and experience, making it a comforting choice for first-time parents. The community's resilience and support are evident, even through challenging times. With a focus on joyful learning and personal growth, Explorer Preschool is highly recommended for families seeking a collaborative and enriching preschool experience for their children.
Explorer is such a beautiful light in my daughter's life as well as my own. I love that my daughter is learning through exploration of the natural world as well as play! And Explorer protects and encourages the child-like curiosity and wonder. We are already enrolled for next year!

My family and I love Explorer. The play base preschool was very important to my family. My daughter was very reserved and has blossomed already being there a short while. Excited to enroll my other little one next year!

My 4 yr old is back for his 3rd year. We love the Explorer community. The teachers are wonderful, and the kids have so much fun with each other. This year, with Covid, we are doing the Pre-K outdoor class at a local park. He is so excited to get there and play with his new and old friends.
