I was a patient here for several years and had a positive experience, until it got very bad. It became impossible to schedule an appointment with my doctor. When I actually needed care, she was unavailable for weeks at a time. I tried seeing a different doctor also with Stanford, and he told me he couldn't help because it was a virtual appointment and he was not my primary doctor. Now I've changed to a different doctor, and Stanford is refusing to release my medical records. They will not honor a digital signature on a records request, it must be a physical pen+paper signature. So basically: I can't get an appointment with my primary, if I get an appointment with someone else they refuse to help because they aren't my primary, and if I try to change doctors they won't release any of my records. This shows that they actually don't care about patient wellbeing at all. They only follow the commands given to them by whoever is above them on the chain, without question or nuance or humanity involved. They don't care if you suffer.

Dr. Dang is the best internal medicine doctor I’ve ever had! Professional, knowledgeable, and very caring doctor and office.

Jeffery Peng's MA called me with a condesending voice and rejected to see me for a recurring problem I had. When I saw him the first time, he asked me if the problem doesn't go away then come again. The decision might also directly came from Dr. Peng. Their reason does not make sense because he is specialized in sports injure and muscle injure. But I guess he and his assistant believes back muscle doesn't move during activities. Lol. Very lame excuses and unprofessional.

My primary care physician, Robert Norman, is part of this group, which makes me such a fan. Additionally, when he's not around, I've been seen by other doctors here, and have always had excellent care. They really listen and take time to understand. The front desk staff is very good. (Also, good, underground parking, which is a plus)

They charged me $472 for my routine physical visit that supposed to be free.I contacted my insurance and inquired about it and it turned out StanfordHeathCare reported it as regular visit!?I made an appointment with Dr. Henehan for my physical routine exam. When I log in to my stanfordheathcare account and look at summary of the visit, under Reason for Visit, it is stated Physical. That is correct. However, they sent me a bill for regular visit!?I requested itemized bill to see what is reported there. Description says: EVAL/MGMT OF NEW PATIENT LEVEL 3.By the way, I just changed my doctor in StanfordHealthCare and they already had my history.Unfortunately my inquiries through their billing departments and Dr. Henehan did not get any straight answer why my routine physical visit is reported as something else.I think they are not transparent with their patients and change nature of the visit to whatever they like. They do not feel they should explain anything to their patients.

After 2 years with stanford health care. I discovered Family Medicine Associates. Clinic - Appointment Scheduling : Rebecca has been very helpful to set-up primary care preventive visits for my entire family of 4 via the phone. She is responsive, quick and courteous. Her help and support is very much appreciate during the pandemic period. Feedback on the primary care doctor that I selected out of random - Dr Jeffrey Peng. He is - 1) Conscientious in details - Dr Peng listened to all our list of concerns without any interruptions before proposing any possible diagnosis. - In proposing possible diagnosis and outcome and likelihood of medication required, I am able to make a viable decision of whether to go to the next step. eg: Imaging or return to see him when the issue gets escalated. - He also took a lot of time to explain what could have triggered the issue that I am experiencing. In addition to the medical term - I appreciated him using a sample of available model or mould in the clinic to explain the details to me in common term. 3) Empathy- He showed genuine concerns in family medical history. Suggestion from him on us finding more medical details of our parent's historical illness and diagnosis is very much appreciated. 4) Efficiency- Dr Peng also suggested the nearby lab and imaging centre at the adjacent location. This has resulted in minimizing a lot of time and driving for me to explore new places. The nurse (sorry i forgot her name) has been remarkable. She helped to do appropriate check in. Very efficient and also very detailed in monitoring the required indicators. What i appreciated the most is her agility to move pull in my appointment, upon realizing there is an opening. She gave me back at least few hrs of my time on June 15th 2020. Thank you. Highly recommended Dr Jeffrey Peng, his nursing staff and overall Family Medicine Associate.

Please, save yourself some trouble by avoid going!!! I went for my annual physical exam in March and am now billed for $400 out of pocket. I was never billed for anything for preventative exam before when I went to NYU Langone - my insurance obviously covers preventative exam. I am going to dispute this till the end of the world.

Doc Norman is a nice person. But with all this unpleasant drama, I would avoid this place at all cost.
