Spent an hour here looking for items and two happened to not have tags, to my surprise the cashier told me I was not able to purchase any items that did not have tags on them and took them away from me and tossed them. I took extra time to try on those extra items and wasted my time for no reason. LAME policy. Made me not even want to buy the one remaining item that did have a tag on it. Smh.

This is one of several Goodwills in San Jose, this one is close to several other thrift stores in the area.PRO:- Big!- Good selection- Close proximity to other thrift stores in areaCON:- Expensive for a thrift storeSUMMARY:I appreciate the big selection and the way this store is laid out. Unfortunately like other thrift stores it’s become commonplace that prices are almost close to new prices. It exactly why I come to a thrift store

The prices here are outrageous. I come here every week and see an item or two I like, but every time I end up putting it back and leaving empty handed because the prices here are so ridiculously high. Is this still a thrift store????? Keep your items. I'll go somewhere else! P.S. You even have Dollar Tree items priced higher than they originally cost at that store! With the prices you're charging you would think you could at least have one of your bathrooms in working order for customers!

This goodwill is incredibly expensive. Furniture is priced in the 100s. Clothes in the $30-90. Sweaters $40. Very unfortunate as Goodwill is meant to be an affordable thrift store for those that may not have the means to shop new. They are price gouging and taking advantage of customers who could use items, but cannot afford it or are forced to pay the higher price because it's $10 less than a department store and every dollar counts. I will not shop at this location anymore. Savers is a better option for fairly priced USED items.

Ever since they remodeled their prices have increased. Saw a couple sweatshirts ranging $15-20!! Better reasonable prices/quality at crossroads trading for those prices!

First of all, they are very expensive and they no longer give discounts like before and if you donate something you have to pay double business

This review is for donation only. I came on a Monday afternoon at around 1:30pm. There was no wait to donate. To donate, you have to drive behind the building and there will be a large area to self sort (clothes, linens, books, etc). I donated baby furniture such as jumper and bouncer and worker sorted that for me. The guy was very pleasant. I decided to donate here as Hope Thrift (closer to me) doesn't accept baby furnitures. Goodwill doesn't accept car seats though which expires. There is a QR code to scan for receipt.
