This is one of several Goodwills in San Jose, this one is close to several other thrift stores in the area.PRO:- Big!- Good selection- Close proximity to other thrift stores in areaCON:- Expensive for a thrift storeSUMMARY:I appreciate the big selection and the way this store is laid out. Unfortunately like other thrift stores it’s become commonplace that prices are almost close to new prices. It exactly why I come to a thrift store

The prices here are outrageous. I come here every week and see an item or two I like, but every time I end up putting it back and leaving empty handed because the prices here are so ridiculously high. Is this still a thrift store????? Keep your items. I'll go somewhere else! P.S. You even have Dollar Tree items priced higher than they originally cost at that store! With the prices you're charging you would think you could at least have one of your bathrooms in working order for customers!

This goodwill is incredibly expensive. Furniture is priced in the 100s. Clothes in the $30-90. Sweaters $40. Very unfortunate as Goodwill is meant to be an affordable thrift store for those that may not have the means to shop new. They are price gouging and taking advantage of customers who could use items, but cannot afford it or are forced to pay the higher price because it's $10 less than a department store and every dollar counts. I will not shop at this location anymore. Savers is a better option for fairly priced USED items.

Ever since they remodeled their prices have increased. Saw a couple sweatshirts ranging $15-20!! Better reasonable prices/quality at crossroads trading for those prices!

This review is for donation only. I came on a Monday afternoon at around 1:30pm. There was no wait to donate. To donate, you have to drive behind the building and there will be a large area to self sort (clothes, linens, books, etc). I donated baby furniture such as jumper and bouncer and worker sorted that for me. The guy was very pleasant. I decided to donate here as Hope Thrift (closer to me) doesn't accept baby furnitures. Goodwill doesn't accept car seats though which expires. There is a QR code to scan for receipt.

We went to this store which is not too much discounted than regular retail stores. We purchased many items and the sticker price was over another sticker that said "broken" and the policy is no returns or refunds on broken items. However if they were to make that broken sticker visible and not covered by the price sticker we would have never purchased. We feel as this is false advertisement. - EL

*good service, good inventory, well organized* I came with a friend and it was fun to watch her shop. I have a hard time with the bottom line of these stores but that's a different issue. What I liked: Clean Good service Fun inventory Fun times.

My main complaint about this store is their items are dirty. They had vacuums/light sweeper vacs that were filthy inside and out. Furniture too is dirty. I needed a cart with drawers on wheels and they had one. Problem for me inside there was dirt and who knows what in the drawers and I didn't want to have to go home and clean it. Just because the prices are good doesn't make up for the dirty merchandise. It doesn't take long to clean out drawers and clean the items.

The most expensive goodwill I have been to. Some pieces were actually more expensive than amazon. I understand they have to run the business but these items were donated.

This location has a lot of cool options when it comes to furniture, vinyl, and home decor like photo frames. I lived by a Goodwill before moving to campbell, and this location is really neat, and easy to navigate. They have a solid selection when it comes to sweaters/cardigans, and blouses. I feel like there's always something to catch your eye, so it requires some will power if you had other motives when coming here. I like their home decor selection the most since there's a lot of cool , vintage, items that are in good condition and fit with my home's style. Things are reasonably priced, but there's definitely been an increase in recent years with the popularity of thrifting and up-cycling so don't expect $20 to stretch incredibly far. The parking lot is a bit intimidating because it's so small and usually busy, but if you take it slow it should be fine. I've seen near collisions in this parking lot which is scary. Donating here is also pretty convenient, I've donated home decor, clothing, and shoes. It's positioned behind the storefront, and everyone makes the process really smooth. It's organized by category and they sort it really well right after - no long wait time. Overall it's a pretty solid location as far as Goodwills go, and no two visits are alike.

Big store, pretty good selection of clothes. I wasn't able to find the type of clothes I was looking for, but there were lots of options to find something you like. The cashiers were also very kind and patient when the card reader wasn't working. Great service, Im definitely coming back!
