Really fun cool place to hear about while eating at the Grandview! They are San Jose's first seed to table restaurant in SJ and this is where they grow all their own produce for all of their Grandview dishes. Overall a excellent experience:)

The view is spectacular. The outdoor seating was so nice. The waitstaff is plentiful and highly efficient. Our meals were so good. I had the Rack of Lamb and it was cooked to perfection. Love that they have a farm and grow all their vegetables and eggs are freshly hatched. Nice touch. My only critique would be that they need to up their game when it comes to their dessert menu. But my cheesecake was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Great service, as well as the food! Don't be frugal, lest you won't taste the best cuisine. The lobster is the best I've ever had. 5 stars.

Attended GrandView (GV) Farms first wine dinner partnered with Grgich Hills (GH) Estate (1970s founded Napa winery). Tremendous menu/pairing and dinner prepared by Chef Dave Page and presented by GM Ilya Shnayder and delicious wines presented by Maja Jeramaz and Chad House of GH. Maurice Carrubba (he and his brother own GV Restaurant, GV Farms and La Foret in South San Jose) hosted the delightful evening in a rustic barn converted for indoor dining. The meal highlighted the GV farm ingredients, artisanal baking, great wine pairings along with an excellent dinner (see photos). GV Farms (opened in 2015) is located across the road from GV Restaurant and is the source of fresh, healthy ingredients for the the earth-to-table experience. GV Farms is a work in progress - fruits, vegetables, herbs and eggs are abundant, cattle and sheep spot the hillside, and a local winemaker is working on a small batch of GV wine produced with East Hillside grapes. GV Farms is also a great Bay Area venue for parties, banquets, dinners (50 people seated), receptions, BBQs and corporate events. It is a beautiful venue in the hillsides of Mt Hamilton and features a stunning views of Silicon Valley, colorful sunsets and a clear view of the stars at night. There is a great patio area in the garden area for receptions, and several buildings to host events, receptions and meals. There is even a gun range available for corporate events. You have a delightful drive on Mt Hamilton road before you arrive, plenty of onsite parking, and then the GV Farms experience. Eat. Love. Celebrate.
