Want to thank the staffs who brought our car keys to the mall security office while we left them at the store. Best teacher, best front desk! Wife and I went to trial class last Sunday, the teacher was friendly and professional. Front desk welcomed us and explained us the pricing and programs clearly.

We enrolled our 16 month old daughter here. But she got bored of this facility very soon as it's quite small in comparison to the other Gymboree play we have been too. Some teachers are really nice some are ok! We ended up canceling our membership right after one month as there was nothing new it was every time same structured same stuff which my daughter got really bored of.

Don't send your kids here!!!! I bought classes on a Black Friday special for my 10 month old daughter. When I took her to her first class, the instructor handed out toys to the kids intended for them to play with and chew on. At some point I noticed something in my daughters mouth. It was a chunk of the toy she was playing with!! She could have easily choked had I not caught it and potentially suffercated. I brought the toy banana and chunk that ended up in my daughters mouth

Do not go here!!!!!! I brought the toy banana and chunk that ended up in my daughters mouth to the instructor. She didn't really seem to care. So I wrote an email. No one responded back. I then called corporate. Again, no one got back to me. I finally called the oakridge store, spoke with a supervisor, expressed my concern if neglect not only with my daughter but communication. So I asked for a refund. She forwarded on my message to the owner. Someone contacted me refusing my refund stating they removed the banana toys my daughter bit a chunk from. I wrote back that I would be seeking further action. This is clearly a reflection of the organization they are.... I will never bring my daughter here again.

I have been taking my little guy to the Baby Lab here since he was about 3 months old. The first class was a learning experience for us both as he was pretty fussy and overstimulated and I thought he might be too young. But we went back the next week and he seemed to be more interested in the class & no fussing, and have been going every week since then and it's been smooth sailing and now he really enjoys the activities. We find ourselves singing the songs at home and doing the same activities too. I enjoy the format of the classes- the setup changes after a couple of weeks so there is always something new to explore, and the activities are quick & short so babies don't get bored. All the teachers there are really kind & enthusiastic- ESPECIALLY Miss Linda & the other ladies who participate in Baby Lab. They're very involved and care about the babies. Bonus that you can get out of the house for a bit and talk to other parents. The classroom & front area are also spotless & clean. I'm sad to be going back to work and can't take him to Baby Lab anymore. Hoping we can get back there when he's a bit older for the weekend classes.

I was wondering why this store has poor reviews and now I know why. Veronica at this store was very rude, condescending, and has some kind of controlling issues. She happen to help me on two separate days and both times I left the store fuming. The first time I was asking about how to use Gymbucks since I got some from going to Gymboree classes. (The classes are wonderful btw!) and the response she gives me feels like if she thinks I'm trying take advantage of the system. Today, I wanted to exchange two items for another more expensive items, normally people will just do the exchange and then charge you the difference--very normal routine. The first thing she says is you can't do that, it has to be same exact pricing as the ones I'm returning can't be different pricing. Then I said l don't want to lose my gym bucks (and it's says on the receipt I can exchange) and that I was just going to pay for the price difference, then she was ok with the exchange. So odd! Did she think I was not going to pay for the price difference? Why does she always thing customers going to cheat Gymboree somehow?! Very bad attitude sales lady. Also, she kept saying where I should stand and look at the small monitor and not look at her big monitor. She said that last time and this time. What's the big deal? The monitors are next to each other. What's wrong with me looking at the monitor if it's right in front of me?!?! Anyways, Gymboree should really look into training their staff to be respectful of their customers. We are spending money here and should enjoy the shopping experience and do not need to be treated in a very rude way.

I took my baby to the Baby Lab, a new class for infants. By the end of class, half the kids were stressed out and crying. We jumped from one activity to the next, spending less than 5 minutes per activity. Naturally, the younger babies were overstimulated and crying. The current teacher was nice, but the teacher who is supposed to take over doesn't seem qualified. When I asked if I could find a chair to breastfeed, she said (kindly) that I could use the restroom. When we practiced sign language, she was using the wrong hand signals for "all done". I think Gymboree has quite some work ahead of them if they want this class to be successful. I thought that even the library storytime for infants was more fun and well put together, unfortunately.

Smaller Gymboree mall location at Oakridge. Selection varies but the frequent sales mean that you can usually find some quality items at very good prices. Excellent customer service
