This is the absolute worst company I've ever had the displeasure to be associated with. They are extremely unprofessional, untrained, unkind and act like no matter how poorly they treat you you should be lucky they are holding your money. Their banking systems are extremely antiquated and the staff doesn't have the basic knowledge that should be mandatory in this business. Dark ages! If you express your discontent at the incompetence they blame the customer and retaliate instead of learning from the feedback. A particularly rude individual is Wendy Talamantes. She doesn't posses the rudimentary legal understanding of Human Resource law as well as her manager Janice Miyake who should be held accountable. Avoid them! Everything about this bank is outdated and run very poorly from top to bottom.

This bank is the worst group of employees I've ever encountered in a workplace- up and down the hierarchy! They are rude, incompetent, and untrained with the exception of one individual I've encountered. They treat customers like they are lucky to be able to store their money with them...although they are an outdated archaic institution. Not sure why their customer culture is so awful, but it needs to be changed. The leadership appears lacking and employees are not well trained on the basic banking and HR laws. I could go on, but do your self a favor and keep your money far far away from this collection of individuals. Unless of course you enjoy being treated poorly, with suspicion and like you owe Heritage something! Really such a consistently offensive bunch across the entire organization from the customer service frontline to the upper management.

First time in the bank to cash a payroll check; was excited to see what they offer. Unfortunately, their customer service was terrible. When I walked in there isn't a defined "line" to get into to get help so I walked over to the person sitting at "reception desk" and told her I'm here to cash a check. She told wl to have a seat and someone will help. (No greeting) I take a seat, after a few minutes another person enters and sits in a chair next to me. They help this person before they help me, and it's been 18 minutes since I walked in and still haven't been helped/checked on or had any interactions with any employees.

I wanted to change my check today and they didn't close for another 2 mins that lady on the first table to the left didn't want to change my check because they were close I'm like it stays they close at 5pm now I gotta wait to change my check until Monday wasting my time now u get a one star

So I don’t go here but I am limo driver and I go to the restaurant next to here all the Time there a security guard older guy that works here will come and time me and follow me around while I am spending money at the small restaurant near by will even come up to me before I parked and tell me no parking this is unprofessional and also stalking and harassment these businesses count on everyone business to continue to stay open here

Horrible online banking requirements to login, unable to talk to anyone on the weekend to get this resolved. They change the number of letters required to respond to questions which has locked me out of the system. Unable to pay bills on bill pay...sounds like another Major bank on its way to bankruptcy.

If you value your time, efforts, and resources, DO NOT APPLY FOR ANY TYPE OF LOANS WITH HERITAGE BANK OF COMMERCE. I got into contract for a commercial property on 09/16/2022. Heritage Bank issued a LOC 12/09/2022 and promised to close the deal on 12/22/2022. After tough negotiations with Heritage Bank, the UNDERTAKER agrees to removed the bank's right to terminate this commitment at any time. At the end, Heritage Bank still backed out of the deal claiming a "Recommendation" from Tim Smith on behalf of CREtelligent peer review of the Phase 1 report is a "Requirement". If every customer of mine buys all of my "Recommendations" from my vehicle inspections, I'll be a rich man. It's a "Recommendation", not a "Requirement". Compliance is NOT require by LAW. Tim Smith from CREtelligent is vetted with Heritage Bank's trusted list and is looking for more work and gold rather than a simple $350 peer review of a Phase 1 report, but doesn't have the balls or man enough to tell me that to my face. Heritage Bank is stupid enough to followed CREtelligent's recommendations. If you need a SBA loan or a Phase 1 environmental report, stay away from Heritage Bank of Commerce and Tim Smith of CREtelligent. Tim stated to me "It is CREtelligent company policy to automatically recommend a Phase 2 when it's an auto repair property." Automatically? So you're guilty until proven innocent. Go kick some rocks Heritage Bank of Commerce and Tim Smith of CREtelligent. Your money is not needed or wanted anymore Heritage Bank of Commerce. You can keep your OPINIONS and RECOMMENDATIONS to yourself Tim Smith of CREtelligent.

Unreliable. This bank has " lost" our checks deposited for our HOA, claimed they dont have them & we are late yet we have a cancelled check, don't respond to their message board & customer service is poor. Wouldn't recommend..

I have banked with Heritage Bank since 2003. I am no longer able to login into my Small Banking online banking even after requesting a new password Reset. Since I was overseas, I cannot login even with the right credentials.Believe it or not: I found a voicemail sometimeLast Aug saying that he was from the bank and wanted to tell me that I can no longer make any deposits because my accounts are now Closed? Who does this? I was planning to close them sometime because of their unsatisfactory customer service but I did not know that they closed them (2 accounts) without confirming with me first.Anyway: I do not want to bank with Heritage Bank of Commerce anymore now.I do not think their Los Altos Branch deserves my 5 Stars. Goodbye Heritage.

Heritage Bank was instrumental in helping us secure two PPP Loans during the ongoing pandemic. They were extremely resourceful and tirelessly helped get our loan approved quickly. I highly recommend them.
