Was here visiting family, and decided to rent a car and decided to use this location. They had OK prices, but the service was not that great. It took hours just to rent a car. When I finally car, the tire ended up popping which just really sucked. I'm pretty upset with how the entire process went for both getting the car, and of course what happened. Maybe it was just a fluke, I have no idea. Not sure if I would rent from them again though

Uber/Hertz rental experience: I picked up a Tesla in the shade it looked fine once I started driving it in the sun I could see all of the dirt on the windows and seats and stains on the interior. I didn't have time to turn around. I brought it the next morning and the lady refused to give me a clean vehicle. She Was rude and rather had me sit for an hour while the man outside cleaned it inside and out. She said it's my fault I left the lot with a dirty vehicle. I guess she's right. So check your cars well. Today the lineup is dirty that's why I don't mind waiting bc none of the cars lined up are clean. $385/week to rent and they give unclean vehicles, have rude employees, Wasted time and energy to return and wait.

I needed a rental but the insurance company selected a different Hertz location for me. I thought I could call this location since it's close to where I'm staying but no such luck. I called and called and called... I called so many times I lost count and each time NO ONE answered the phone. I thought maybe they were closed but it wasn't 5pm yet. I was desperate and needed a rental so I could move my daughter into her dorm for school. I decided to drive to the location and guess what? People were there and the phones were ringing but NO ONE picked up. WTF kind of customer service is that?! I spoke to the lady that walked out from the back and asked if they had a mid size sedan in stock but she told me all they had were SUVs and electric vehicles. I asked if she was able to check a different Hertz location's inventory and she told me "no" so I left irritated that I had wasted my time going there when they could've simply answered the damn phone :DO NOT come to this location. They don't seem to care.

Made a call here about 20 minutes ago. Some guy picked up, wasn't helpful, and then hung up on me mid sentence. Terrible customer service. Do not come here.

Uber says about $370 to rent a model 3 per week, but the actual cost is much more. The customer service lady is more annoyed than helpful. She asked me if “$1090 is ok for final charges?” I replied “no,” to which she replied, “it’s already been charged, I’m just telling you.” Then I walk out of the store and come to find my actual cost was $1997.35 for 3 weeks. And I never got my “refundable” $200 deposit back. Do not use the hertz rental program for your driving.

Extremely disrespectful facilityI am new to the whole renting car process and when I didn't understand somethingThe lady today on a Tuesday 4:pm sitting in the left desk from the entrance with short bobbed hair and was ignorant with an attitude. I never been dealt with such disrespect in any service facility, can she get fired? Like asap?I understand why this place has very low ratings, no one should go here

Zero stars. I had to put a star to continue otherwise none. Service was horrible electric car was not very well explained, then there's still a charge on my card for 200 deposit over a week later. The recording says to call my financial institution and my financial institution says that hertz has the hold on my money. Hertz...Please release my money or I will be reporting you. When I try to reach someone in the hertz location on Stevens creek they answer and hang up immediately. Called many times. This place is ridiculous. Beware. I will be calling their corporate.

Poor communication. Customer service can't bother to explain things. I completely agree with Daniel G, who posted a similar complaint here on 4-29-22, Kris M, who described similar poor communication in a review on 2-21-18, and Sean W, who described lackadaisical service on 4-12-29, which fits the same picture. Since what happened to me occurred this year, we have to assume that's the tone management has set up or allowed in that location for years. --Not everyone rents cars regularly, and those of us who haven't rented cars for personal reasons, not insurance cases, since DECADES ago... because we haven't had to, might not know the ins and outs of getting a rental, or the process might have changed. Given that the people behind the counter do know them and can utter more than a couple of words during a phone call, one would think they could strain themselves to remind a possibly new customer about what to bring. Not everyone carries a credit card with them. Just an example of how someone who answered a phone call couldn't be bothered uttering a few extra syllables, but when I arrived in person, she told me that "everyone knows you bring a credit card to rent a car". No, your job is to remind people of what to bring. It's not that hard. Share that extra sentence that should come out of your mouth, please. SIMILARLY, if Hertz is going to jump from your insurance company's billing to that personal card you brought (it wasn't the card I would have used if they'd warned me to bring a card), Hertz - like every other company on earth that can charge a card automatically - should advise us in advance about the upcoming charges, which Hertz doesn't do. If they can set up auto-pay for themselves, they can set up automated communications about that upcoming charge.Don't worry, Hertz. You're not the only company to do that, but our local California assemblyperson is very interested in this issue, so it's possible it can become state law soon enough. And where California leads, other states follow.

Good experience and very reasonable pricing. There was a slight wait with the vehicle, but we got a good car selection and return was very smooth: propped the car after closing, returned the keys later and the manager Rouaa was a kind sweet lady who helped me through the process

Paid in advance for a small SUV rental for two days. Then I read the reviews which made me think there wouldn't be a car waiting for me. Couldn't have been happier with my rental and service. They WERE out of small SUV's but I was given a brand new Willy's Jeep Wrangler. It was fun to drive. I was in and out in no time. No lines. Helpful staff. Same great service on return, checking the car and finalizing the rental.

Hertz has a wide selection of cars and availability and I was able book and rent a Tesla on the same day. Staffs here are friendly and very helpful.

Just called corporate hurtz. My local office didn’t have any availability. So I called corporate they searched around for four stores no availability so I asked her to check Napa and Vallejo And she huffs and puffs on the phone and gives me a big sigh. What type of professionalism is hertz giving. Don’t ever buy with hurtz don’t ever rent with hurtz go to enterprise

All Uber driver and customer be careful before going to rent from this location. No Manager on duty. Agent is very rude. Be careful when you pick up the car spacial for Tesla. The car was very dirty also navigation system wasn't work. The front trunk wasn't open. Whole my experience with rental from this location is bad.

Awful service. I booked a vehicle for $50.00 through Expedia App. When I go to pick up the vehicle, the agent adds $200.00 to the fee, stating I only put down a deposit. However, the receipt of payment clearly said total, not down payment. Robbery.
