I had recently picked up rental Car from Hertz at San Diego Airport and then again at SJC, both Car Rental experience were as satisfying as in the past. I have recently noticed that Hertz has brought in changes of its Rental Car inventory and the same is highly appreciated. The last car that I picked up was a recent addition and the same makes Hertz as the obvious choice for quality. Kindly continue to keep up the good work.

Very poor customer service. No interaction with customer. No explain on what they were doing. Just gave me a bill and key, then told me the parking lot #. That's it. Even I have their Gold Plus Reward benefits, they never asked it, and didn't apply it. That's just advertising .

One of the quickest and painless car rentals I have experienced. And choice of vehicle was a very pleasant surprise. Prices were very competitive! Will rent from Hertz again and no where else.

Normally I rent with Avis or National. Never have problems with either company. Decided to give hertz a chance for the first time in years. Was about to give a 5 star and use hertz again until they snuck in a fuel charge after I filled up the tank full right at the airport just minutes before returning the car. Overall service wasn’t exceptional but good enough for renting a car late at night.

The rental process at the San Jose Airport Hertz was smooth and hassle free. Pickup and drop off were quick, and the staff made everything easy. The only downside was the car selection, which wasn’t great and felt limited. Overall, the convenience and efficiency made it a solid option if you need a quick in and out rental.

The team here managed to fraudulently add an extra day to my bill because there was no one there to receive the car when it was dropped off. I waited around for about 15 minutes and looked everywhere.
Do not rent or return here and if you must ensure you get written documentation at that moment But there are employees who cares so they won’t be able to help you with that
So make sure you take a ton of photos, so you have proof

Been President’s Circle for years. But here the cars on PC aren’t any better than Gold. Why build status for no benefit? I wish our company would go back to National!

Reserved a minivan. Showed up on time. No minivan available. Agent Jose doesn’t even apologize and acts like he is doing us a favor by offering a SUV. We go take a look at the car before confirming if we will take it. When we come back to the counter, another agent says that said car is taken and now offering another even less spacious car. We have been here for an hour and still no car. At SJC airport, trying to get a car which has less space than I reserved for. Now I see why Hertz has a lot less people than any other rental at this place. If you have an important reason like needing space to move your kid to college, I suggest you look else where. This Hertz place is not it.
