The worker here was she terrible. This is homedepot these workers should know where things are. Was looking for a specific item in the gardening and she told me she doesn't work here in the gardening but she was outside walking around there. I had to tell her to calm her attitude and could have just helped me locate someone else who works there. Fix or get rid of your poor workers.

We are moving and have a lot of landscaping, house projects and fencing to build. We wanted to buy a generator and needed an employee to get it for us as it was in a protected area. We had 2 carts of other items (garbage cans, bags, power washer) which are all items available on the shelf for customers to get themselves. The woman employee rudely told us we couldn't go around the store with those two carts and took them from us to put at customer service. I would understand putting the generator at customer service since it is an expensive item that you need an employee's help to get. But we didn't understand why we couldn't walk the store with our other items. Her attitude was unnecessarily rude, especially to customers who spent over $3,000. It makes me think this store location probably has a problem with theft so they treat all of their customers like they're guilty. We won't return to this location.

I come here really frequently and the service always remains very good! Whether you come here for pluming or electrical and the best part is they have such great selections!! The prices on their clearance sections are insane!

The recent anti theft measures make it impossible to actually buy many things, and the stores are understaffed enough that it is a painful experience to get someone to help you..I've bought three things recently and it was a terrible experience.Buying a set of Makita power tools required two associates to unlock all the padlocks, with the whole process taking over 20 minutes.A second time I wanted to buy a socket set but waited 15 minutes for someone to unlock them... Nobody came so I left and bought it on Amazon. Most recently I wanted to buy a $19 oscillating tool blade which was locked up. I found someone quickly but they wouldn't give me the blade -- I would have to pick it up at the front or buy it immediately; never mind that I was already carrying loads of other things that summed up to more than the blade. The blade will be bought on Amazon. The moral of the story is that I'll be buying more things online now.

You better know what you need and just because it says online it’s in stock it doesn’t mean you will be able to find it! Good luck finding someone to assist you.

Review for visit on 12/17/2023 at 2:00pm, I attempted to seek assistance in retrieving the locked Dewalt machine from the shelf. Despite my efforts, the checkout attendant responded rudely, stating they only had one person available, which confused me as there were several workers present. I asked other employees for help, but they all claimed to be busy and assured me they would return, which didn't happen. It was frustrating that none of them could spare a minute to unlock the door for the item. Ultimately, after a prolonged wait, I left the store without purchasing the machine. Left store around 2:25pm.

Very helpful staff. I’ve had very good experiences here with staff going above and beyond, and making sure I got what I needed.

I have a great experience with the customer service people. The pro sales personnel, and a few individuals in other departments. However, I have noticed the managers are doing a horrible job at finding good employees to do the job that they’re supposed to do. Otherwise, we cannot ever find any associates who will know what day need to know for their department to help the customer out? There’s only very few employees who know what they’re doing and the managers fire the superstar ones for bogus reasons.

Hillsdale Ave store is ok inside and staff helpful and friendly. However, outside in parking area is a different story ….it is a dump. Trash everywhere and in designated planted islands. Disgusting! All they have to do is hire TWO people whose sole job is to keep it clean for 8 hours. Good grief.

Every time I try to give Home Depot my business it never works out. The staff never seem interested in helping even when politely asked. It is like I am bothering them from doing who knows what exactly. When looking for a part there are fifty to choose from but the one that I need because the manufacturer decided to make it different then all the others is not carried in the store. So the selection of huge but not what is needed. It was the true example of trying to find a needle in the haystack. I was told to order it online. I probably will have to and I will not be using the Home Depot site to find it.
