We had a very bad customer service at this H&R office today (03/23/21). I had an appointment today at 5:00 PM but unfortunately, I got stuck on my office work before that so I was able to reach the H&R office building between 5.15 PM to 5.20 PM. I totally understand that as I was late so I just wanted to meet the Tax person to see if she could accommodate us today or reschedule the Tax appointment later. Upon entering the office, we were told to wait outside as the room capacity was exceeding, I totally understand the protocol. So I thought that they can accommodate me today to see my tax documents so that's why I waited outside. After a long wait for 30-35 minutes, I saw the TAX person came out of the door to talk to us and folks it was already 5.55PM but then she told us that she couldn't take us today for tax filling instead she had called someone else as we were 15 minutes late. I understand my mistake here but she should have told me at the same time when I entered the H&R office around 5:15PM and why make us wait for 30-35 minutes to only reject us later. This doesn't makes sense and I hope this H&R office works on customer relationship as clearly this is a bad customer service. I will search for another H&R office who can respect us as a customer and help us on Tax returns.
