Woo Jsweets now sells fresh mochi/daifuku and hattendo cream bread! So called “ice bread”. The custard flavor tastes awesome after I had two matcha flavored bread. Note it contains margarine though, avoid if you have concern about it. But they are delicious.

Friendly staff, quality sweets, slightly expensive but well worth the price.

They carry a lot of Japanese dessert lines. I found the Royce nut bar here after I struck out at the Royce store. Clerks leave you alone to browse. I have no problem with stoic Asians clerks. The store is located inside Mitsuwa market.

For the longest time, this was the only place where you could get Shirokoibito cookies, and even then. you had to order them for pick up from the website.Aside from that, treat this like the souvenir shop right before you get on a plane in Haneda airport. A big selection of Royce chocolate and variations (chocolate dipped potato chip anyone?)They've also got a selection of traditional Japanese sweets and the selection is good for both single pieces and boxed sets. Some of the sweets do show a bit of condensation inside the package, but I've never had any issues with them.Only thing I wish they'd consider supplying is ohagi.

It is not worth buying any sweets here because they are too hard and dry, not even authentic Japanese dessert.

Great selection of things but the young lady worker/cashier was very rude to us and has super nasty attitude!

First of allI had my 2 kids with me and they want to buy a lot of their items. You hired people kids that Do not acknowledge the customers. How rude,Both areTagalog like me and of course just standing their gossiping. SoYou lost out on a 100.00 sale. If you are gonna stand their and act like you don't want to sell then let me call you out. Work aJob at Great America. I worked in retail growing upAnd knew how to take care of customers. Absolutely ridiculous

Average dessert for over $40, i.e. overpriced, even as gifts. After patiently waiting 10 minutes for the previous customer's food to be wrapped up (they are very slow), the cashier lady did not greet or smile at me. She just stared into the void. I had to ask if I was next and was she ready to help me. She nodded the very slightly. Then she wanted to dump my soft mochis into a bag, instead of in a box. I find this infuriating and unfair given how expensive they were and how different my treatment was from that of the previous customer.

I have been to their SF location and was surprised to see them here. The displays are incredible and everything looks very delicate and artsy. This is an acquired taste and I am not a crazy fan which was the same reaction I had the last time I had it.

More often times than not I have been blatantly ignored for customers spending high amounts of money. Not just "oh I'll help you in a second", no flat out ignored. I typically go in for the seasonal products particularly the Royce chocolates but will get mochi or Jelly occasionally. I feel like often times unless your spending a lot of money you get a look from the sales associates like your wasting their time, they have good stuff but honestly I wish the Royce in Valley fair carried the seasonal products as I'd go there instead. They have a great selection (most of the mochi is frozen) but I wish they shouldn't treat customers like their not worth their time just because they don't drop hundreds of dollars in one purchase..

Nice to see this in the South Bay, which specializes in Japanese sweets and fruits gift boxes or gift sets. There are also seasonal collections that's a surprise!
