Best journeys i’ve ever been too, actually the best shoe store i’ve ever been to
The manager, I think his name was Christian did a backflip off the counter and landed it, kneeling down to give me my shoes (insane). He some how correctly guessed my shoe size and brought out a couple shoes I didn’t know they had, and they were so cool, ended up buying all of them.
aAnother worker was there, Angel or Angelina or something, super cool person too, when she rung me up, ended up helping me find out i had a discount for like 10 bucks off which was pretty rad. though gotta bring it down a notch, she didn’t do a backflip off the counter like the manager (laaaameeee)
Overall much better staff than any of the other shoe stores, especially shoe palace, they were SO RUDE.

I rarely post reviews, but my experience with Journeys was bad enough to warrant a heads-up for other potential customers. I bought shoes online. The order took over two weeks to get to me, and when they finally arrived, the sizing was so off, and the box looked like it had been through a war zone. When I tried returning them to my local store, the customer service received was so lukewarm bordering on rude. The customer service literally seemed inconvenienced by having to support me in any way and were pissy even in answering simple questions. I was denied a refund on these unworn shoes with all receipts intact; I would be issued a store credit only. Save yourself headache and shop just about anywhere else.

I bought a pair of shoes and realized that the pair in the box was not what I bought. There must've been a shoe mix up or something. I'm unimpressed with the organization of this store.

Would give zero if I could. I went in there to browse and was immediately harassed about buying socks. I didn't want to buy their socks because they are very overpriced, but the workers kept trying to sell them to me. I left without buying anything after that experience. Will not be back.

To the manager Christian. Who never sent the Uggs that journeys in Gilroy had called you and asked to ship to their location when I was there in front of the manager from Gilroy and I heard him talking to you and u said u where Gunna send them. Well you never did and now ur saying u don’t remember .. thanks this was suppose to me a Christmas present. Very unprofessional and unorganized this is why everything should be written down. So upset about this. Thanks to Santiago from Gilroy for taking care of me

Went there earlier this month eager to buy a new pair of shoes. Employees kept looking at me weirdly when I was just minding my own business. They bagged them up for me ready to go until I handed them a seemingly older 100 dollar bill. They looked at one another, laughed/scoffed and told me they don’t take old bills. No apology, didn’t give me any other ideas such as going to an ATM for 20s, just gave me a rude look and I walked out with no words exchanged. I felt unwelcomed.

This review is months overdue but I wanted to write it to make sure Lauren was recognized for her amazing customer service. She was so helpful in helping me get the shoes I needed to try on. I am an extremely indecisive person and was in the store for almost 45 minutes before I ultimately decided to not purchase the shoes. I felt bad about not purchasing since Lauren really took the time to make sure I was taken care of. Shout out to Lauren if she still works there!

I came here to exchange a pair of tennies that were a little bit snug on my toddler and ended up walking away with a 2nd pair on top of that! Great customer service from the sales associate last night. I didn't feel rushed or pressured one bit and the staff actually took the time to go in the back and located the specific size I needed- box looked absolutely terrible but the shoes inside were untouched!! Just what i wanted!!Although the store seems small in size, there is a good variety of shoes to chose from. Bonus points because the toddler/kids shoes are so damn cute! There are certain designs only found at Journeys. Highly recommended.

The service here is pretty darn good. Came in to get my daughter some Dr. Martens for her birthday. The style she wanted in her size had a broken buckle, and it was the only one in her size. Sarah was nice enough to direct us to another store instead of making my daughter wait mid week to get her shoes. Gotta give props to a store that handles these situations like that. Losing a sale to take care of a customer is always a plus in my book.
