Very knowledgeable instructor and fun, yet very challenging classes. I highly recommend!

I attended this studio as a guest for 2 weeks while i was in town on business. I attended the 5:45am boot camp classes. The owner, Kathy, leads this class, and she is a tough cookie- she doesn't mess around during class, and expects you to show up, shut up, and really work your hardest. That being said, she definitely is personally invested in her regular clientele and very supportive. If you show up with the same dedication to your goals that she shows to her studio and her teaching, there is no way you won't grow in your fitness goals, and she will support you 200%. Plus, there is something super inspiring about having your butt kicked by a petite woman twice your age, and 10-times as fit as you- if she can do it, why can't we?? My first week was discounted from a Group On deal, and Kathy generously offered me a deal for the second week, since i wasn't in a position to join. Were I a local resident, I definitely would have become a member.

KB and her studio are ONE OF A KIND. In this day and age with all the 24 Hour Fitnesses, City Sports, and big box gyms, it's refreshing to find a gym that is more personal. From the moment I first met KB at her studio I immediately saw that has the biggest heart and such a passion for what she does. You can't help but get invigorated with working out with her!

I had a great first experience doing pilates reformer with Kim! The studio was clean and organized. And KB is wonderful- she'll answer all your questions, make you feel welcome, and help you pick the right class that's best for you.

Through classpass, I had signed up for the stretch and release class on a Monday night. Totally my fault but I did not hear the voicemail that said the class was getting cancelled. Because I did not hear the message, I still went to the studio. When I found out it was cancelled, the owner told me she was cancelling because I was the only one signed up and instead put me in the pilates reformer class. I asked if it would be okay for my hurt foot and she said it would actually be a better class for me than the stretching class. I was a little confused about that because I specifically signed up for the stretching class due to my hurt foot. I also asked if there was water before the class and was told there is no water fountain and they were out of bottled waters. What kind of exercise studio has no water?? The pilates class was in a small, stuffy room and the instructor for that class smelled of cigarettes which really bothered me. I don't understand how someone who is supposed to promote health would smoke and let it smell like that in the classroom. I also noticed that every exercise required me to be using my foot which did not help with the pain I was having. I have been to many different exercise studios (barre3, pure barre, corepower, etc) and never have I had an instructor be so bad at guiding someone who was unfamiliar with the the class. The instructor seemed surprised that it was my first time and her reaction bothered me. I had no idea what was going on. There were only 5 other people in the class so I do not understand why it would have been difficult for her to be more helpful. After 20 minutes of no water, feeling confused, the smell of cigarettes, and a lot of use of my foot, I could not stand it any longer decided to leave. The instructor made it seem like I was leaving because I could not physically do the class and offered me free private lessons so that I could get used to it. I did not like how she went about it. I was trying to explain that I was leaving because of my hurt foot and she did not understand. I also would have been way less confused if I was not feeling SO thirsty and the instructor had been 100% better at explaining what to do. After I left the room, the stretch and release instructor was still in the studio, sitting at reception... If she was just going to still be there, I don't know why she could not have just taught the class even if I was the only student. I would not recommend this studio to anyone who is used to studios with much better instructors, customer service, and overall environment. I was excited that this was so close to my home but was so disappointed after.

I have only been here one time and it was for a instructors class. KB was in the class herself and I have to just say, she is the sweetest. She is kind, welcoming, and opened her studio to our group at the last minute. Her vibrancy and energy fills the room and you can see and feel her love of fitness. If I lived in the area I would be frequenting here. Sadly I cannot, but I can recommend it. If you are looking for a place with a welcoming, kind, hospitable owner, you've got it. Thank you for all your awesomeness, KB.

Enjoyed my first trial workout here. Josifina was great. However, when I came back to try the 5:45am class it was cancelled without any notice online so when I showed up and no one was around and the doors were locked. Maybe should have better notice on the website about cancelled classes.

I wasn't impressed with the Pilates classes. Very little instruction and zero corrections (that I saw) for anyone performing a movement incorrectly. I attended 4 or 5 classes. My opinion is they like to fill all the reformers and that's about it. Teaching, is secondary.

I don't like exercise. But at KB Fitness, where I do Pilates Reformer, and some of the classes they offer it was not intimidating. I felt comfortable working out. Friendly people, good community feel. I just got a personal trainer for an extra kick and I still don't like it, but it's do-able. And for the first time, I don't dread walking in to workout. Thanks, KB.

I love KB! They have some super fun and challenging classes. Try U-Jam, and work up a sweat to great music! I also thought the women there were great and very friendly. I like that they have childcare on site and that they have waters available for after class if you forget yours. Unfortunately, I get out of work at prime rush hour and it takes me an hour to get to there and I just can't spend that kind of time in traffic and then at the gym with small kids at home. Wish there was one closer to Santa Clara!

I love KB's gym. It is small and personal but active and vibrant, too. I thoroughly enjoy the morning yoga and the Pilates Reformer classes. These exercises energize my day and have helped me keep my muscles flexible and toned. I really enjoy the teachers---Kelly (yoga), Kit (Reformer)---who work to make my class time profitable. And to keep it all going and organized with a smile? Why it's Lindsay, of course, the receptionist. This little gym is one of the undiscovered gems of the valley......but wait, now that I've told you, you'll know too!!

I discovered this place via a Living Social deal -- perfect timing too, since I had just quit my 24 Hour Fitness membership. I've tried group exercise classes a few times before, but never really enjoyed them -- mainly because I'm completely uncoordinated and like to do whatever I feel like at the time. My first two weeks here were actually slightly disappointing -- the classes I was attending were barely offering me slight toning. I would walk out of an hour of class not even fazed at all, and actually started walking 4 miles round trip to class just to try get a decent workout for the day. My last few classes have been great though -- all of them taught by KB. Don't get me wrong... the other instructors are wonderful as well, but definitely lower intensity. All staff and members are great -- very positive environment. Pilates Reformer classes are nice because there are only ~8 people max per class, so definitely a lot of individualized attention. The other classes allow more people, but you still have to sign up for the class ahead of time to make sure you get a spot. Some classes fill up quick, but some you can call and sign up for a few hours before class.
