“Modular Remodeling and Design is an amazing company. They recently helped me with my home remodel design and the city permit for the same. Both Idan and Erez were super cordial and very professional in our engagement over the past one year. We wanted to extend our home, but were working on a fixed budget. Idan designed our place beautifully , meeting all our needs and keeping it within our budget. Design engagement was fast and efficient. What I was super impressed with was the speed at which they procured the city permits. I have heard stories from friends that this process takes 5+ months. But in our case our permits were done in roughly 2 months. This was primarily because of the solid work Modular did in the design phase. There were hardly any comments, and things went through very smoothly. I am super pleased with their work and highly recommend them. These guys know their stuff!!”

Anthony was fantastic and guided us through our (very complex) design decisions with a lot of patience, humor and good advice. “Angelique provided amazing customer service. We purchased tile for our kitchen and all our bathrooms with Angelique recently. The store is not as big as some other places we went to, but they have a good selection and the service from Angelique was really a bright spot during our over 2 year remodel saga. Angelique is very friendly and patient and she had amazing response time to emails. She responded to email late in the evenings when the shop was closed, and she responded even when she was off on vacation. She even stayed late on a Friday night to enter our order so that we could get things as soon as possible. I didn't mention anything at the time, but we definitely noticed. Thanks Angelique!”

“After 30 years I knew the bathroom need to be gutted & started over. I went to see Dan Wood at Classic Kitchens & his design suggestions were awesome. The project was bid fairly & communication with Dan & his staff was excellent. The finished look exceeded expectations. When it was completed I was so happy I scheduled the next project. Dan takes a personal interest insuring customer satisfaction & I recommend Classic Kitchens highly.”

“We went there on the recommendation of a high end Los Gatos builder. He said he only used them on houses up to 3 million. The cabinets are all plywood boxes, no particle board. The drawers are dove tailed and all have soft close drawers and doors. Their prices were simply stunning. We ordered a complete kitchen and bathroom cabinets. It included granite counters and we bought the under mount sinks from them. We waiting 3 weeks for the installers. They showed up on Thursday at 7.00 am. They did the complete demo. And then they started the building. Their craftsman ship was top notch. They were real pros. They were perfect. On Friday they completed the cabinet install and then they started on the counters. By 8.00 pm Friday, they were done. Stunning!!!! They cleaned up, didn't make a mess and worked so hard. These guys like to eat, which means they have no problem working hard. If you want to waited on hand and foot, this place ain't for you. If you know what you want - this is the place for you. It is obvious they aren't a 100-200k kitchen service kind of place. Considering my entire job was 5-10% of a 200k kitchen, I don't care.”

“We had a very pleasant experience with Apex Marble. Tanya was very helpful and patient while we took our time choosing what we like. She helped us with the fabricator, who did a great job installing the countertops. Pretty fast turnaround overall, in about 2.5 week we had everything installed.”

“I decided to install a new kitchen main faucet, under-sink 3-stage water filter with dedicated drinking water faucet. The filter is connected to a tee off the cold water input. All components ordered separately so I was facing the difficult task of finding the correct hoses and fittings to connect everything together. I knew if I went to Home Depot or Lowe's I would not get expert advise, so I drove to Ferguson Plumbing and Supply with a diagram I drew. It was a good decision, I was helped immediately in a friendly manner and within a few minutes all the correct lines and fittings were selected for me. Everything was correct and the project was completed with no issues. I am very happy with my experience and would highly recommend Ferguson to anyone planning a DIY plumbing project, they have a comprehensive selection of fittings and tools with expert salespeople.”

“Never see that much people before in this plaza. I guess everybody came out to buy Lunar New Year gifts and stuff. This store has so many different Lunar New Year decorations, bowls, plates and kitchenware. The store was fully packed today. My friend and I got some Lunar New Year hanging things. It's only cost five dollars each. It's very good deal. :)”

“Best experience we ever had! We worked with both Valerie and the owner Hao. We are extremely happy with the result . During the process they are very in tuned our needs, they provided smart suggestions to save cost for us. In the addition to the cabinets , the quality of the floor and door we got from Lusso is top notch. The most important is that they are very honest about the pros and cons of each product , they are genuinely here to help customers to get the best result and they only sell quality product .”

“A smaller outpost of the South Bay chain, staff are happy to answer questions and provide quotes that are often competitive with the big box stores. Medium selection of available surfaces and finishes, a good place to affordably renovate a kitchen or bathroom.”

“I had a great experience here. We ordered quite a few Mexican tiles. I looked high and low online for the tiles, and everyone had a 6 to 12 week lead time. I ordered all the tiles I wanted at Tile Depot, and they showed up in three days. Some of the tiles I ordered did not line up with each other when we tried to repeat the pattern. They exchanged them without any fuss and even did a rush order so we could get them installed. Customer service without outstanding. I’ll be ordering from them again.”

“I'm a South Bay homeowner went to Rubenstein looking for gold finish shower setup (like Hansgrohe level cost). Here's the true story experience. Salesperson told me "no gold finish in stock for ANY brand, you'll need to wait 3+ weeks to get gold finish items, but we do have this Hansgrohe Raindance whole-shower set available in stock ONLY in Brushed Bronze for $1200." But what they don't tell you is it is only THEIR warehouse that takes 3+ weeks to ship out any brand fixture in gold finish but many online plumbing etailers (build dot com and etc.) can ship the exact same gold finish plumbing item to your door in 2-3 days, and Rubenstein sales obviously did not tell me that Costco has the same Hansgrohe Raindance in brushed gold optic on sale for only $600 and it ships immediately. But credit to Rubenstein sales person who did give good advice in recommending the Hansgrohe shower system as we did buy it from Costco and it is a great shower fixture system.

Now I do recommend Rubenstein for very wealthy homeowners renovating very expensive homes - who have money to burn - and don't mind if their interior designers have to wait 3+ weeks to get all high end plumbing fixtures - which Rubenstein can help ensure are all custom matched to have all the same exact color finishes to match finishes of other features in wealthy customer's bathroom.”

“We hired Betty and her team at Urban Interior Design to renovate 2 bathrooms in our townhome in August and we could not be happier with the completed project.We had actually used Urban Interior Design to update our kitchen 10 years ago and when it came time for the bathroom renovation, we reached out to Betty again. Of course, we did our due diligence and received estimates from two other companies. The pricing proposal we received from Urban Interior Design was very reasonable and within the scope of our budget. We were comfortable with Betty's suggestions and advice for colors and materials. Furthermore, Betty confirmed she would be able to meet our requested timeline for the project. We were hosting an event at our residence in early September, and we would also have house guests during this time, so the renovation would have to be completed by the end of August.The project was scheduled in July and the initial teardown started promptly in August. The entire project was completed in two weeks. Betty was quick to respond to text communication, and at the end of each day, we were made aware of the arrival time, scope of work and team that was scheduled to come in the following day. We selected vanities, vanity tops and sinks from the Urban Interior Design showroom, so were secure in knowing that these materials were in stock and available for our project. We were responsible for purchasing flooring, faucet fixtures, lighting, mirrors, cabinet knobs, and paint, and to ensure that these materials were available for Betty's team to install at each stage in the renovation. Betty's team arrived on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up at the end of each day. We inspected the work at the end of each day, and other than a couple minor issues related to paint touch up (which were addressed promptly), we were very satisfied with all aspects of workmanship provided for our project.
