I get my haircut here every couple of months. The wait time is usually non-existent, and now that (Van?) know my head, I’m in-and-out in 10 minutes. $12 for men’s haircut? Good deal.

I have been coming here for a few years now. Van is wonderful. She always remembers me and my family. Prices are great and she does an amazing job cutting my hair. My hair was thinning and she gave me advise to help. It worked! Highly recommended!!!

I have come to Lavon for more than 8 years, the new owner (Van) bought the salon a few years back and she runs it now. Believe me when I saw there is no one better than this woman to cut your ingrown toe nails she is like a magician when it comes to it. Anytime I've gone to a different place they don't even know how to attempt to cut out an ingrown toenail and my toes will look nice but continue to hurt until I can get them taken care of. You can literally walk in with painful feet and like magic when she's done with your feet you can run out of her salon with no pain. She's got hands of gold! It might not be a fancy or frilly place but it is a place where the owner is consistent and precise and I can appreciate that.

I've been getting my hair cut there for the last six years. They usually have an open chair when I walk in. Sometimes there's just one working and she's doing a pedicure. No biggie. I'll come back in a day or two. Anyway, I'm real happy with them.

Although I did previously have a bad experience, I decided to come back since I had been coming here so long with no issues. Im so happy I gave it another shot. Best pedicure in the world and the gel mani lasted a long time!!! Plus, you can't beat the price. $42 for a pedi and gel mani. $10 eyebrow waxing and they always come out great. Although I get mine threaded somewhere else.

Ive been going several years now. I love how my hair turns out each time. The owner does a fantastic job knowing how to do a persons hair from matching hair dye to cuttimg and straightening it permanently.

I went to Lavon Salon on April 28th, 2018 around 10:30 AM with an appointment. I had called 30 minutes before to check in and see if they had availability right away, but I was told to go in at 10:30 AM. I show up and there were probably 2 people waiting and three people receiving services. There were only two employees. I was feeling like maybe I should of gone somewhere where it wasn't as busy, but decided to stay due to how close it is to my home. I sat down in the chair and was asked how I wanted it. I told the hairstylist that I wanted it just one length because I had tried to cut a few strands that were longer and had messed up my hair. She said she could try, which I thought was weird language to use because I would assume she would be able to preform the task. Either way I wanted to get my hair fixed because I had an event to go to later that day. She rushed cutting my hair and was like you're done. She didn't even show it to me with a mirror. I had to ask her and she said oh it looks good. It wasn't even at all. She quickly went back to cut more and I told her you know what I'll just go home and call you if I see anything. I did that because she obviously didn't want to spend the time to do quality work and I was fed up just being there. I paid and went home. I straightened my hair to see that there were obvious pieces that were longer and I called her to let her know. She said that she could fix it and I asked if there was a time that wouldn't be as busy where she could spend the time doing my hair. She said that she doesn't know when and it won't be busy because they take walk ins. I called her again and she said she would take me right away, but I went in and had to wait another 10 minutes. She told me nothing was wrong with my hair, yer she was cutting it. She didn't even show me my hair all she said was thank you goodbye. She honestly made it worse. I will post pictures how it's uneven and not a one length cut. With her wording it seems to me that this salon just rushes through jobs because they want to get money and don't care about quality. I honestly went here because the other salon that's close (next to the liquor store on newhall) wasn't answering and I wanted to fix my hair before starting my day. I unfortunately made a mistake in going here and I never will again. It just frustrates me when businesses think they can operate without providing quality care. This hairstylist went to cosmetology school and couldn't even preform the most basic haircut(one length)? I've received a haircut from a Paul Mitchell student with a teacher supervising and it was 100 times better than what this women did. My advice? Go anywhere else, but here for a haircut or any service. Get quality service!
