Lee's Supermarket on Senter Road in San Jose is a hidden gem for savvy shoppers. They cater to your needs with competitive prices, like the budget-friendly Korean ribs, a steal at just 1/3 of the typical Korean store price. The beef tenderloins offer incredible savings at half the cost of Costco. Plus, the added convenience of sandwiches available in-store, where everything is a deal with their buy 3 get 1 free offer. Lee's is a smart choice for both quality and affordability.

Bought Vietnamese baguettes from here. They were good per usual but typically only for the 1 day. Not so great next day. Also bought some multi color bánh bò with coconut sauce on the side. The coconut sauce was watery and seemed to have been pre m-frozen which indicates that the bánh bò might have been frozen as well. The bánh bò was not good at all. Don't recommend buying them here. Parking lot is also shady and customers risk getting car broken into here. Be Careful!!

My very first visit. I cook Asian home foods almost everyday and I am a regular grocery shopper looking for bargains and good deals. Although the area can be considered ghetto with lots of lower income class people shopping around, the supermarket itself was filled with wide selections and great prices. Seriously, they have pretty much everything/food ingredients you can imagine at a Vietnamese grocery store. Fish sauce small bottles were $1.99 each. Sweet sour sauce for egg rolls or chicken meat marinades were $1.99 each. Koon Chun brand red vinegar are sold at just $3.49 (very cheap bargain as it usually runs for around $5 at Chinese grocery stores), various Asian bagged snacks can be found at $0.99 per item to $2.99 each, and Vietnamese cashiers ring you up quickly at the checkouts, especially after 2 pm or 3 pm on a Sunday afternoon. I actually took my time inside to look at everything for cooking and didn't run into any problems or issues yet. Their grocery selections are much better than some of it's Asian grocery store competition in the area. Vegetables very affordable. Red meats were very decent in prices too. Yes, expect crowds and often long lines. There are security guards monitoring the place and helping out. Nothing sketchy or rude found. Environment looks decent. Passionate employees. The absolute bonus was having the actual Lee's Sandwiches counter inside the grocery store. Unique. Lee's Sandwiches offered huge selections of foods here and they certainly deserve the 4.5-5 stars reviews. Very surprised to see that it's connected to the actual grocery store. They had everything inside! Great Vietnamese customer service at Lee's Sandwiches too. Note, very crowded parking lot with lots of traffic jams. It's still packed with goodies and great prices though. I actually enjoyed this very first visit. Good vibes today.

This place is super shady! Today I asked the worker if he can get some crabs from the tank. The guy literally went somewhere in the back packaged up the crabs in the brown bag and gave it to me. I asked him where did you grab the crab because I didn't see you pull the crab from the tank. His response, it doesn't matter...they're all crabs.Uhm yeah, no thanks. I'll pass. If I'm buying crab that you guys display..I'm hoping that is where you guys pull the crab from not from somewhere in the back. How do I know if it's still dead or alive, especially if I'm paying for the live crab prices. What a shady place this is! Last time I'm shopping there. If I could give it negative stars, I would.

Pros * Good variety of seafood, meats, and Asian fruits* Convenient with Lee's sandwich inside* Good sale on some items* Reasonable prices on most productsCons * Not checking ID for alcoholic beverages, cashier just enters a birthdate to clear it.* Erroneously charge or overcharge for items* The produce and pre-packaged food items are not as fresh.I'd return for the sales but would recommend double checking the receipt before you leave the store.

First time I went Lee's Supermarket yesterday and it will be my last! Unscrupulous people running this place. I bought a bag of shallots yesterday and today I find each of them at least half rotten. They had turned the rotten side of each shallot inward, so that customers can only see the nice side. We pay good money and it's money down the drain for us. DON't patronize this business!

Please don't go here and assume everything is fresh and always at a discount price, which seems to be affordable. They are scammers who sell you a bag of price 25 lbs for only $25. The catch is that the expiration date on the bag was in 2019. They will never tell you the expiration date, thinking you will never know it. They are very stupid and irresponsible!

Oh my god. I just found this nasty chunk inside the 50 lb rice bag I bought from Lee's. The brand was Ba Co Gai. I am so disgusted right now and would like to dump this entire bag in the trash. How does the market store their rice for it to get like this?!Gross. Ugh. No more rice from Lee's for me. It's gonna be awhile before I shop there for groceries.

This review is for the Lee's Sandwich Deli located inside the supermarket. The sandwich is double the size of the Lee's Sandwich in Oakland. It's large enough to share between two people. The bread, pate and ingredients were fresh. So good that I had to bring one back home for my Viet momma!

4/2020- Their deli is not good. Bought a steamed bun and the bun was wet and the meat is gray. Parking lot was completely littered with trash and had several homeless walking around panhandling and possibly casing cars for break in.
