About Mai Do - Fine Stationery & Goods - Santana Row
Mai Do is an enchanting and overwhelming stationery store at Santana Row, described as the best in Silicon Valley. It is a small but mighty shop with a great and excellent selection of Japanese stationery, novelty items, and goods from Europe. The extensive collection includes journals, traveler’s notebooks, every type of pen, pencil, ink, art supplies, washi tape, stickers, rubber stamps, cute kawaii items, and gifts. The well-organized store is easy to navigate, though it gets crowded on weekends. Prices are viewed as both reasonable and a little pricey. The friendly and knowledgeable staff provide quick service. The store has a no drink or food policy but offers a cool area to leave items while shopping.
I had a really good experience at this establishment. Yes it is a quaint little store with so many awesome things to choose from. From the journals, pens, paper, planners, cute little keychains. The worker was so nice to assist me with finding the best pen to use with the Hobonichi I bought.

Did you know in America they almost never sell pens finer than 0.5mm? Whaaaaat is with that? Finally found a place that I can get some much needed 0.3mm! Thank you!
