I hired these guys to fabricate and install limestone and granite in kitchen, bath and laundry room. Here are the issues.....and I do hope they will reach out and correct-rectify. One the kitchen counter-Ismael came out himself and made the templates-when his guys brought the pieces I guess they were cut wrong....I do remember them calling Ismael and he must of told them to install anyway. Some had to be recut.....Ismael needs to go to church and talk to a priest! When the cabinet guy came he immediately saw the issues---and either said something to Ismael or did not-but it did not get corrected. The laundry room never got the backsplash installed......very frustrating process and I stupidly paid.....they need to correct if they want a decent review. DO NOT USE! I will amend this if they correct issues..... One tough olde bag here---not happy! Waiting to hear back! Letter sent also along with email.

They were hired to replace some tiles on our balcony. We were quoted one price and I nice they were finished, they wanted more money. I was very disappointed that they demanded more money, especially when one reason was because they had to cut the tile to fit, which is part of any tile job. I would not use them again.

If I could give zero stars I would ! Their work is messy and dangerous! I only hired these people through a contractor who subcontracted them. They were doing our kitchen island . The problem arose when they were sanding the wood part of the island without the area around it being protected from the sawdust elements . When I told them to cover the area where they were sanding so it will not go all over the house and the furniture . They complained that they would not do this, they said it was a waste of time and that they were on a time constrain and essentially it's not part of their job.. One of the guys was even snickering in their language inside my house seemingly to mock me for asking them politely to do their job. Nevertheless the sawdust went all over our house . As far as I know sawdust is a human carcinogen . It is known to cause cancer , plus the extra clean up that needs to be done afterwards. Despite my plea to them to cover the area they were working on so as to isolate the dust just in that area. I started to put the tarp They refused to clean the sawdust and put a tarp up , and said again that it was not part of the job . After so much negotiation they were insisistent on not doing it , and decided not to finish the job and then they took their stuff and went. WTF !!!! What's happened to the world ?!!! I wouldn't hire this people again ! They also seem creepy , like their casing the joint or something . Have your cameras up people if you hire them!

Agree with all the other negative reviews as I experienced the same exact issues--EVERY one of them. Ismael is a scam artist and is not a man of his words--not even when agreements are in writing. It was the most frustrating experience working with him. You constantly have to chase him down and he is an outright liar. He never returned the leftover slabs I requested as others have mentioned. Instead, he keeps them for himself and resells them for a BIG profit at his shop. Outright thievery! On top of that, the workmanship is poor and he refuses to take responsibility and fix the problems. What a regret using him. He will come across as a busy man whose business is in high demand, nice and knowledgeable BUT don't trust him!!! I have a second large house to be remodeled. He will certainly not be getting repeat business from me.

We also hired Ismael on the referral of All Natural Stone. It was a huge job worth hundred of thousands of dollars. He was hired to custom finish almost 100 slabs, and install them in a custom high end modern home. That was in 2017/2018. Once we started installing the problems almost immediately started. We asked him to book match material and he didn't do it properly. We had to chase him to finish. Eventually he got the job done and we were satisfied. Obviously the proof in the pudding is what happens after he's finished. Well he failed miserably. Both bathrooms he has metalled slabs in the shower leaked. Both were a result of not waterproofing the channel drains properly. The first bath that leaked actually also had a leak in the membrane. He fixed it after we chased him. Then a second bath had the same issue. The water leaked under the slabs and caused them to discolor. Means the slabs need to be replaced. It was obvious the same problem existed based on the voids in the waterproofing around the drain. He blamed it on the slope of the floor. The same floor he prepared and installed the slabs on. Refused to repair it and even badmouthed us to the end client/homeowner. You make this right and we will take this down Ismael but if you don't it stays and we lodge complaints with the state liscense board and we sue. Act with integrity you were paid to do a job. It was done very poorly and you need to repair it. That's what liscensed contractors are expected to do!

We were referred to Ismael "The Marble Master" back in February of 2018 by "All Natural Stone." Of the two names we were given, Ismael was the most prompt to respond. We soon discovered he is truly knowledgeable and professional. We were renovating our master bathroom in San Jose and Ismael fabricated and installed our quartzite countertop and two sinks. We were extremely impressed with his work. So, when we began renovating our 2nd home in Copperopolis, we requested a bid from Ismael and two other companies closer to Copperopolis. Ismael bid was right in the middle about $750 more than the lowest bid. Considering he would be traveling close to 2 1/2 hours, we felt his bid was reasonable. We also had a tremendous amount of confidence in his work. I texted Ismael at 4:30 p.m. on May 7th asking for a bid. He responded at 6:50 the next morning saying he'd get back to me with a quote. I followed up on May 18th and by Thursday, May 21st I had the quote. On the previous job he did for us, we didn't have any written contract. We were working with a cabinet contractor for our current renovation with only text and email messages. I was regretting not having a more formal written contract with the cabinet maker, so I didn't want to proceed again without a more formal agreement. I prepared a one-page letter detailing the scope and agreement of work which included kitchen, laundry room and hallway cabinets. With Ismael, after having him complete two jobs for us, I'm confident you really don't need a contract. He's a man of his word. He did exactly what he promised, just like the first time we worked with him. He also left two large leftover pieces that we will be using for our guest and master bathroom countertops. And, two smaller pieces that we can carry with us when shopping for our backsplash and bathroom floor tile. On Friday morning, May 22nd, we spoke on the phone and I awarded him the job. He agreed to meet us on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th to make the templates. A vacation day!!!!! That's commitment! He also said that once we come by his shop to show him how we want each countertop to be laid out on the granite that he would be ready to install in 10 days. On Friday, May 29th, Ismael spent at least an hour with us to laid out each countertop. He was very patient. Ismael continued to be responsive to text messages throughout. He is a busy man. He may not get back to you immediately, but at the times I really needed to talk to him, he called me back quickly. I have absolutely no complaints about his responsiveness. On the contrary, it's amazing how he juggles all his clients. I'm acting as my own general contractor on my renovation job. I have minimal experience and needed some hand holding along the way. Ismael was willing and qualified to provide the advice and direction I needed. As promised, he contacted us almost exactly 10 days later to set-up the installation date. Although, something came up and he had to push it out one day to Thursday, June 11th (12 days, instead of 10 which didn't bother us at all). Our cabinet contractor is currently 3 months passed his promised completion date and we are still waiting for him to finish. So, two days is absolutely nothing! My wife and I highly recommend Ismael "The Marble Master" with confidence. We will never do a natural stone countertop job without his expertise! The "Marble Master" is our go to man!
