My girlfriend came here for an oil change and the associate felt like he could swindle her into paying $100 because her car “couldn’t take conventional oil”, and when asked about why he only ushered her to sign papers instead of answering her questions. They were rude and unhelpful, avoid this speedee and just go to the one on Monterey highway.

This shop has been going downhill now. They upsell you on things that you may not need and make it sound like you need it. The way they push and make things up, I can't trust them with my cars anymore.

If I could choose zero stars I would. Came in for an oil change, upcharged me and convinced me to get transmission fluids flushed out, as they were doing this an elderly lady got upset because she was there for over 2 hours before me waiting for a smog check, instead of doing her smog check they decided to look into other parts that she didn’t request. Then they told her they would only be able to fix those parts and there wouldn’t be any time left to do her smog, she left very upset. Then in the last 5 minutes of working on my truck they tell me that it “came in with a diesel leak” if it came in with it they would have told me right away. My truck did not come in with a diesel leak, then tell me it’s too late to fix it and I’d have to come back tomorrow. NEVER GO HERE. I have never left a review good or bad but this made experience made me need to.

I brought my van here just to change the oil, but they found that I actually had a hose that was about to explode. So glad that I brought it that day. I was in a rush, and couldn’t stay long but had to fix this hose. They did it ASAP for me, and I felt they were truly honest people who did everything they could to help my situation.
They gave me a good price.

Today I went to this place to have an ordinary SMOG check on my Nissan pathfinder.
I was 1st on the line.
1st problem: I waited 1hr and 30 min with nothing done coz apparently, the guy working on it went out to another dealership to pick up spare part for another.
I was not even informed about it, I only found out when I went to the work area and my car was not even touched.
The front desk lady( Maria) gave me alibis and run arounds.
I went home after being told that it would take another 1 hour wait for a simple smog test to he done. Total 2 hrs if I would wait again.
So, I went home.
2nd Problem: The front desk lady ( Maria) called me at home, stating that the smog check was actually done initially and I should come back and pick up the result.
Alleluah!!!....norhing was actually done, NO NOTHING, MARIA AND THE STAFF LIED FOR THE SECOND TIME.
So, since I was already back there at their shop, I agreed to finally do the smog check...but I have to watch it with my 2 big eyes.
I willingly paid after....MARIA and ONE STAFF simply told me....EVERYBODY MAKES MASTAKES, THEY ARE ONLY HUMANS....NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY MENTIONED...THEY SIMPLY JUASTIFIED THEIR ACTIONS.....well and good SPEEDY or SLOWDY...I almost exerternally exploded...Good work guys ( Pen....d..joo!!!)

When I don't have time to do an oil change I have taken my cars to this location. For the most part it is what you would expect and can be hit or miss. However, over the years the cost cutting has increased as they no longer top fluids and rarely complete comp services like vacuuming and checking tire pressure. On my last visit (2/5) I was told my car had "major" oil leaks and they couldn't warranty the service. I questioned this as I have not seen any oil leaks on my driveway. I asked if they could tell me from where the oil was leaking from. I was told it was too dirty. Any competent tech should be able to determine a general idea of where a leak is coming from. Whitin days of getting the oil changed I did notice a leak, and it was major. After starting the car, within minutes I would see a steady drip under the engine. I wondered if something had broken, and I just didn't notice it before. I jacked up the car and easily wiped oil and dirt away but could not find the leak. I thought it might be something to do with the oil pressure so I stated the car and sure enough, it started leaking. I got back under the car and to my surprise it was leaking from the oil filter! My only guess is that they didn't seat the o-ring properly when they changed the oil filter, and because they wouldn't warranty the work, I am out $150. Don't let them do this to you. Ask them to show you what they see. And make sure your car is vacuumed before you leave, especially if it is marked "completed" on the service ticket. :(

I do not recommend going to this SpeeDee! The mechanics are unprofessional and charge excessively high prices for simple repairs. I asked for an oil change, and when I checked the oil level at home, it was 4 centimeters higher than the max level. This could potentially damage your car and lower the fuel efficiency. I had to buy a pump to remove the excessive oil myself.Furthermore, they charged me over $500 to replace the entire oil filter housing for a leak that could have been fixed by just replacing the gasket with much lower price. This place is unprofessional and overpriced. I strongly advise against coming here for car maintenance.

DO NOT COME HERE. I’ve came here twice to do an oil change on my car and both times I had an issue. My first time visiting this place, they did an oil change and when I left home, I noticed some change I had laying around in the middle cup holder was gone. It was only $10 but still it’s the principle smh. I tried not to think it was any of the guys at this place but literally nobody else was in my car but them and I never use that money. I leave it for homeless people whenever I see them. I should’ve not came back after this, but I did. I wanted to give them a second chance. After my second visit, they did another oil change but this time they tightened the bolt with an impact tool !! It has at least 60lbs of torque which is ridiculous!! Do they not train these men ? Or do they just hire anybody ? I am now having trouble removing the bolt to do the oil change myself. Because of this place and my experiences here, I am scared to take my car to any shop now. This place needs better men with knowledge!! They don’t take the time to do things correctly. They want you in and out as quick as they can. Hire men who have went to school for this kind of stuff and who actually have brain cells !!!

If you have a European car you may want to think again. For some unexplained reason they charge $20 more. Maybe they think owners are more wealthy... Or more dumb
