Both of my kids go here (started when they were 4 and 2). They've grown and excelled so much in 1.5 years. My son knows even and odd numbers, how to count to 100, and to tell time on an analog clock. Pretty impressive for 5. My daughter was extremely scared of people. Had severe anxiety. In a month or so of starting here, she blossomed into a different kid. she started walking into school without even saying bye to me. I was sad but was so happy to see that she finally felt comfortable without me. And she loves school! She knows how to count to 30, recognizes all her letters, and she loves to read. I would 100% recommend this school. Foundation is everything so why not choose wisely.

This review is long overdue! My girl absolutely loved going to Over the Rainbow Montessori. She loved all her teachers, especially Ms. Colleen, and looked forward to going to school every morning. We recently moved to another city and nothing here compares to the love and attention that she got while attending OTR Montessori. We highly recommend this school. 5 stars all the way!

Can't say enough wonderful things about Over the Rainbow Montessori School. Let's just address a couple things right up front especially for parents who will drive by or are in the area. This is a SMALL program. If you want to be in a giant school campus setting with multiple rooms and kids running everywhere, this is NOT the program for you. And yes, it looks like it is in an apartment complex and there isn't a ton of parking. But rest assured, the location is easy to access and totally secured from both the public and the apartment complex. Getting the flow of drop and pick up is odd at first...but it gets easy and workable FAST. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE: Let the parking thing go...in the end, it is THE least important part of OTRM. BUT...if parking is THE most important thing for you, again, this is probably not the program for you. OK...NOW...the really important stuff... The team at OTRM is experienced and KNOW what they are doing both from the perspective of childcare and early child development but also in terms of a Montessori education. The Director is a long time teacher who has been in the trenches herself. She is leading this program with years of experience which has brought this amazing ability to modify the program to be the best possible program for our kids. We are in the older preschool group and to say we adore our teacher, Ms Colleen, is a massive understatement. She LOVES being a teacher and it shows. Our little one comes home excited about the funniest things: it was a week of discussing the skin, flesh, core and seeds of an apple which was then followed by a VERY accusatory question about if WE knew about photosynthesis (which was also followed by the AMAZED comment of "You KNOW about that? Like Ms Colleen???") She takes the time to know each child and give advice and thoughts when she sees issues or challenges we can overcome. Every teacher at OTRM clearly enjoys being in the program and I think that has a lot to do with the positive environment that the owner and Director have created. This team is always thinking of lessons that are as fun as they are educational. From songs about North America to science (STILL getting asked if little one can do experiments on molecules that involve marshmallows in the microwave!), OTRM isn't just daycare. I know our little one is going to be ready for all the adventures that come with the next step of Kindergarten and Elementary School. The advice I would give anyone looking at a preschool or daycare program...decide up front if you are looking for a daycare or if you are looking for a school. There IS a difference. Here, we have found a school where our little on is safe and stimulated in a Montessori school that focuses on all parts of her development. We couldn't be more happy with our decision to join OTRM.

My 5 year old son has been going to Otrm for 3 years now and he absolutely loves it. The management is really committed in providing a safe and fun environment for the kids. The staff is amazing and they do such an incredible job exposing the kids to different aspects of learning. The staff is loving and very caring, which gives me a peace of mind knowing that my son is well taken care of throughout the day. Otrm did an outstanding Job navigating the school year with all the challenges we faced with COVID. They kept out little kiddos safe and we are very grateful. You will not be disappointed by sending your kids here. Don't miss out on all the fun and exciting things your kids can learn at Otrm.

My 2.5 year old son joined Over the Rainbow Montessori (OTRM) in January. He was at a home daycare before this but would never stay for more than 2 hours before he would cry and ask for me. He was glued to me at the hip and always wanted me for everything. I was very frustrated as he was extremely clingy and I couldnt find any time even to do basic things around my home. Previously, when he was an infant, I have also had very bad experience with a daycare that would ignore a 10 month old crying for his mommy. My son would be crying through the whole day till I picked him up. I loved OTRM as soon as I toured it. Ms. Sheetal, the owner and Ms. Bell, the director are very cheerful, warm and welcoming. His teachers, Ms Celia and Ms Elahe were also extremely caring. My son, despite being here for just 2 months (January to March), got "unclinged" from me. Huge step. At my request, the staff and Ms. Sheetal would call me during the initial week if he got too cranky for his mommy. I must put it on record that I have never experienced a place that truly cares about your kid. After a month, he started to look forward to going to his school and loved every staff at OTRM. In those 2 months, my son got completely potty trained after me completely giving up after trying for 6 months. He could identify alphabets and numbers and even spell his own name. He even learned how to hold a pencil and make straight lines. These were phenomenal developmental milestones achieved in 2 months thanks to OTRM, Ms. Sheetal and her entire staff. I usually do not write reviews, leave alone long ones. But, its about a place where you are leaving most precious part of you the whole day, a place where your child will spend most of his waking hours. I felt this place deserved this review and much more. I highly recommend OTRM and all its teachers, the director and the owner if you are looking for a place that truly cares for your child.

This school has been a Godsend for our family! We have all (3) of our small children enrolled here full time, they are 3, 4, and 5 years old. The hours are great, and the school is very flexible. They have recently incorporated a digital app for signing in and out that can also be used to send messages and photos of our little ones at school. All of the teachers, as well as the new owners have made us feel incredibly comfortable. Our children love it here, and are growing in vocabulary and social skills by leaps and bounds. It is a clean, well-maintained facility, and the staff are very attentive to our children. They have lots of fun activities, and even have a lot of opportunities for parents to participate. We want to give a special shout out to Miss Cindy, who has played an instrumental role in shaping our decision to come to this school, as well as stay with this school. She is patient, intelligent, caring, and warm; she makes our children feel safe and cared for. She is also an excellent teacher, that has unending patience, and a knack for dealing with children in a positive way. We had tried several other care facilities for our kids, but Over The Rainbow has far exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend them to any family in the area.
