i've been to this place before and they did an amazing job with cleaning my car both inside and out. they were even kind enough to remove old stickers on the bumper of my car without any trace of it ever being there. today unfortunately was a different experience. i arrived around 10:30am and the car wash took about 2 hours as expected. i paid for the super deluxe detail wash, and tipped beforehand. after a 2 hour service and hefty amount of money spent, i expected nothing less than for my car to be perfectly cleaned. i briefly looked at the side of my car while getting in the driver's seat to leave, not thinking to stop to inspect car before leaving. i understand this was my fault, but again i didn't stop to do it as i fully trusted their work since it was great the first time. got home and as soon as i was able to do a proper walk around my car, i noticed the bird poop on my hood was still there. there were also many other specks and stains still on the hood of my car, but you can imagine my disappointment. this is not a regular cheap place to get your car washed, so i expected top quality and i'm just frustrated i paid so much and spent my entire morning here for a half assed job this time. although my first experience was great a couple months ago, this experience was upsetting and frustrating to say the least. if the job isn't consistent every time, i may have to start looking to go somewhere else because i'm not paying the same price for inconsistency and laziness.

Pacific Hand Car Wash is hands down my favorite place to get my car cleaned. They're 100% hand wash, and you can really tell they care about the details. The staff is super friendly and genuinely nice, they make you feel welcome every time. What really stands out is their attention to detail. They really get into every little corner and detail of your vehicle. It's obvious they take pride in their work, and it makes a big difference. If you're looking for a thorough and reliable car wash, I highly recommend giving Pacific Hand Car Wash a try. They do a fantastic job and always leave my car looking great!

I have been going to Pacific Hand Car Wash SJ since summer of 2020, with two cars and soon I'll take in a third. In fact, it's the only place where I get my car washed, such that I admittedly let too much time pass between washes, simply because it honestly takes a bit of planning given the time required and now I have kids. (It's not your typical quick vacuum, run the car through, and quick towel dry). My dealership gives me free vouchers for a super popular [non-hand] car wash in SJ but I they just sit in a pile in my glovebox. Despite the longer wait, I use the time to either get work done in their comfy indoor space with WiFi, drinks, and snacks or outside lounging on their benches, or I go for a walk in the neighborhood. THE WAIT IS WORTH IT BECAUSE THE QUALITY OF THE WORK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE OUTSTANDING FOR THE PRICE ONE PAYS. Today, I had the best work done so far on my Mazda CX-90 SUV. My kids and I ski, camp, hike, beach, etc. so it was pretty filthy in and out after not washing it for maybe six months. Add to that an annoying plant on my driveway had scuffed up the side pretty badly. I had them do the clear coat correction and ceramic sealant and the car came out better than when I took delivery. Even I felt so fresh and new as a person driving my car! The crew goes above and beyond. At drop-off, I placed my kids' booster seats aside so I could get them out of the way. The crew cleaned them before they went back in! The best part about this place is the kindness and friendliness of Jason and his team. I never go in there feeling like just another customer. It feels very neighborly and you get the sense that they value taking care of their community. As a Bay Area native, I'm happy to support Jason and his small business!

These guys were fantastic....my interior had masses of vomit (due to food poisoning) & anyone having to deal with this is a godsend. Pacific Hand Car Wash SJ took on the difficult task & did a fantastic job! I spoke with Jason to ask about the service ahead of time & he was super cool & had great customer service. Thanks to all who helped me out big time!

Pacific Hand Car Wash has been an absolute A+ experience CONSISTENTLY throughout the years. Jason and his team really go above and beyond the call of duty. If you truly value the best quality, PHCW is your only option. A business is a reflection of the business owner and their team, and for a business to succeed and take care of its customers the way PHCW has and continues to do goes to show the type of individual Jason is. Pretty good car wash, I just wish the cashier didn't blatantly ask for tip upfront which in my opinion is a tactic to pressure customers before the service is even complete. The price is already high as it is to factor in the labor, why not let the customer decide on the tip AFTER the job is complete?

Went in for first time today. They washed my car better than I do and i considered myself to be picky. They were nice enough to take me even though it was after closing. The staff are super nice! Then I met Jason the owner and what a nice person! Being new to the area it's so refreshing to meet people like him that makes me want to go back! BYW-if you like to talk fishing then Jason is your man! Rich

Went to Pacific Hand Car Wash over the past weekend. It's been a few days, and I'm still getting compliments from my family on what a great job they did on my car! Just look at the before and after pictures. They are super detail-oriented and really get into every crevice to clean your car. The outside of my car was pretty dirty since I haven't been able to get my car washed for a few months, and I park underneath trees at work. I also have a big dog that sheds a ton and has managed to drool all over my seats leaving stains (even with a seat cover!) and they were able to clean it all up as well. I had a scratch on my bumper that was deeper than the paint and they buffed it out and now it's barely noticable. The entire staff is very nice and helpful and you can tell they really take a lot of pride in their work. Highly recommend coming here if you need a good car wash and detail!

Jason and his team are amazing. They really pay attention to details and Jason is overall an amazing guy genuinely car enthusiast. Definitely recommend getting the super deluxe for your first car wash it's worth every penny.

Great place!!! My go to spot for car wash. All done by hand! Got there when they were kinda slow. Wait time was about an hour. They did the outside and inside. The price I paid was pretty reasonable. The car looked a lot better when I first got it. Thank you!!!

Top shelf service, friendliness and attention to detail. I have two old cars that sit under trees most of the time, and every time I leave the Hand Wash, they look shiny and new inside and out. I'm always impressed by how many people work on the car and how much time they spend -- much appreciated!

Great place to wash your car. They clean everything inside and out, leaving your car looking like you just got it out of the dealership again. They definitely give you your money's worth from the job they do!
