Pizza has always been good here. It seems to be family owned and they’ve always been decent to deal with. The tiramisu is good too, maybe not the best I’ve had but still hits the spot (and they use coffee instead of amaretto, which is good for people with nut allergies).“Atmosphere” is kind of an odd category here. The place is small, clean, with a handful of tables and chairs. It seems well taken care of, but isn’t really fancy or pretty. There’s a huge TV, which in general I’m not a fan of, but they keep the volume low when it’s on, so that’s not a big issue. There are a couple of old pinball/arcade games in the back that seem hard to get to, but I’ve seen the lights on so they might be working.Honestly, it’s basically what I hope for from a nice, family-owned pizzeria. Never had a bad experience or a bad pizza with them.

I never ever like anyone's spaghetti but mine ?The spaghetti here is excellent and better than Spaghetti Factory. I was actually surprised that I enjoyed it because I am extremely hard to please with spaghetti in restaurants. My sister and nephew and my dad love this place. Now me and my husband love it too. And just a side note: They are cat lovers and feed and care for the few stray cats that come around their business. You can catch a glimpse of a cat or two outside the window on the patio where they have picnic tables and umbrellas ??Kid-friendliness: video game arcades for kids

Whoever drives their delivery vehicle Prius C with “Pizza Maria” lettering in the red font on the side of the car is a menace. I have seen them running through stop signs at 40mph on Fleming and driving with complete and total disregard for others on the road, not one, not two, but numerous times. Today (11/10/2023) saw their driver blowing through the stop sign @Mahoney & Fleming again at around 40mph, without even touching his brakes. Don’t be an idiot and learn how to drive moron, world doesn’t revolve around you!

One of best pizza shops in San Jose, super hidden gem. Not only is their pizza amazing, the meatball sandwich is incredible, house made meatballs, dutch crunch roll, tangy sauce thats not overly sweet, and a generous covering of melted mozzarella cheese. Those that say the pizza is too oily? Oil comes from cheese, if it's too oily you're complaining it has too much cheese? How can you trust anyone who complains about too much cheese on a pizza? Those that say it's too expensive? Have you looked outside lately? The world is expensive. This place is actually cheaper than most pizza places, except for maybe little caesars and dominos. It's an unassuming decor, it's not pretending to be anything it's not. Sit down, watch the game, have a beer and slice of pizza, or get a huge 18 inch pizza for $20-30 for takeout. Either way, a fancy interior isn't going to change your experience at all. There's even a couple arcade games in the back and some nice outdoor seating.

Delicious fresh baked pizza with large servings. The cost is low and they have other menu items aside from pizza. Nice outdoor seating as well.

Good pizza, but they rip you off on the price and are rude, to boot. On the price: small veg combo $25. Small pepperoni $17 or so. Half and half? $28!! Every other pizza place I've ever been to in my life (and I've been to a lot) charges the higher of the two prices on a half and half. This place charged for the veggie combo and then added the cost of pepperoni. Another example, I ordered a large pizza and a small, went in and the bill (which I had learned to check) was way higher than I expected. I asked why, and was told that they had made a mistake and made two larges, so they charged me for two larges. (Are you kidding me??). I said that was wrong and they said they'd put the large that was right off to the side while they made a small for me. I said the large would be cold by the time I got it and they said too bad. I looked ticked off and they adjusted the price. Last straw was last night. Went in, got our usual two pizzas (no combos for us!), we were the only folks in the place. TV was blaring an endless infomercial about supplements that combat aging. We asked to change the channel and they switched it to an informercial about the world's most expensive supercars. We asked them if they'd be willing to just switch the TV off and got a lecture about how this was a restaurant, not a private house. The TV got switched off for about five minutes. Anyway, the pizza *is* good, but we really just can't bring ourselves to go back.

Some of the best pizza we've had in a long time! Both their deep dish and regular crust pizzas were excellent! Looking forward to returning.

Absolutely love this pizza. It's the way pizza was meant to taste. Priced to taste. Fresh and ripe ingredients are used and traditional oven baking method insures you a delicious dining experience. I know I sound like a advertising company but I am not, I just really love this pizza place.Vegetarian options: Yes I added pineapple

We have been ordering from Pizza Maria for years. Usually either Tony’s Special or Di Napoli but always the thin crust version. Just had a go with the Di Napoli thick crust pizza yesterday and it was so SO good!!
