I love this store, I'm here all the time and the employees are super friendly and helpful. I honestly enjoy every trip at this location because they are really good with their customers and ask you if you need help with anything! From looking for something to even checking out and making sure you found what you needed and you had a great experience! Most stores aren't like this so huge plus to Homedepot!

Store is on par, safety is not, AVOID AFTER DARK. Stopped for a paint brush at 8:50 pm and came out at 9:05 to find several windows on my car smashed out and my belongings stolen. I was parked within direct view of the exit door. Home Depot will not release any video to a customer, only the police, and no way SJPD is going to do anything about this kind of thing. So, the security cameras are useless, attached a picture of the camera tower to show you everything you need to know about how much this store cares about your safety. Shopper be warned, you are not safe here.

I had a Home Depot van reservation I made 4 days ago. Needed to take down Christmas decorations and bring to storage today. The flipping morning of my reservation today I get a text my reservation is canceled ! WHAT?? I tried calling the store .. someone answered and immediately puts me on hold. I called U-Haul on curtner, got a van same day / morning for cheaper ! F--k Home Depot !

Every time I come here, there are no carts, no lumber carts, you have to search the parking lot to find anything. I'm a general contractor and I will never come to this Home Depot again.

So The Home Depot in San Jose Capitol Expressway puts together a Kids workshop every 1st Saturday of the month from 9am-12pm. Check your local Home Depot store and see if they have this type of specific workshop. It is the cutest thing to see what this store does for the future customers of America. No other store or competitors do this. They close off a section in the parking lot and put up some tables and buckets for them to sit on. The little toddlers and children that come with the parents, grandmas and grandpas and uncles and aunts and neighbors is a great event to watch. The value it has to teach the kids some LIFESKILLS without the cell phone and computers in front of their face is priceless. Hearing the hammering and screwdrivers and wrenches they learn to use is beautiful music to our ears as customers. They learn how to interact with other peers their age and also learn about tools and develop the coordination, strength, dexterity and flexibility they will need to finish the projects they get. Means a lot to the parents that bring them once a month.

Jerry at tool rental is an amazing worker! He is so knowledgeable and has great customer service. It was such a delight renting with him. He made the entire process so smooth. I will back just to rent with Jerry! He made this such a positive experience. I was nervous backing out of the parking lot and he even assisted with that. He is the best employee there and deserves a raise! Thank you again Jerry.

As a woman in her mid 20s that has no knowledge about home appliances or anything in that sort. I'd like to share I had such a great experience at Home Depot! Everything was exactly where it said it would be online and it was in stock as listed. I felt so accomplished I didn't have to ask for help! Lol

If I could give this store a negative 10 stars I would. Everytime I go into this store or order online deliveries from Capitol Expressway, there's always an issue. Not to mention the last time I was in there they got robbed as I was at the self checkout. Everything I buy at this place is used, returned, and put right back on the shelf. I ordered mirrored closet doors here once that I waited months to get and they manged to drop them (shattered into pieces) while bringing them to the front of the store and the employees that were moving them busted up laughing. Maybe it was funny for them but not for someone who's waited months for closet doors. Let me throw out a few more.... My wife bought me a power washer from this store as a birthday gift. Opened it up and saw that it was clearly used and missing parts. How about my latest experience which happened yesterday/today. Ordered 19 sprinkler nozzles online (direct delivery from the capitol store) to be delivered yesterday. 1/3 of my order showed up on my porch followed by an email notice saying everything was delivered. WTF...Is basic math that difficult? Can these people not count to 19? I called online support and it took their own online support over an hour to get a hold of someone at this store, who said that the remaining sprinkler heads can't be deivered at this time because all the delivery people were gone for the day (this was at 1pm) and that no store employess had a car or they would have one of them deliver it. Guess everyone walks to work??? The resolution was that they would deliver it the following day (today) between 6am and noon, which has come and gone. Spent another hour on the phone with online support who got put on hold with the store for over 45mins. I told online support that I'm not wasting another hour of my life due to the incompetence at the Capitol Expressway store and to just refund me my money. And the response I got was we can't refund you because the order shows delivered by the store and that I need to contact the store manger or dispute the charge with my credit card company. What kind of bull shit is this??? Never go to this store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could go on and on about how terrible this store is and all list 20 more issues that have occured over the years, but I'll cut it off here. Guess I'll go to Lowes or OSH from now on. I suggest you do the same......

I purchased a new refrigerator through Home Depot and I've needed to ask a few question before it arrives and trying to get anyone in the phone in the appliances department is impossible, they kept passing me along to the next department. I was on hold for 15 min and they hung up on me, I tried multiple times and never got a hold of anyone ended up trying a few different store and still could get anyone to answer my question. I guess San Jose Home Depot's need to hire and train more appliance specialists. Connor from the Campbell location finally helped me.
