This company is THE BEST! We had a new system installed in our daughter's apartment complex and Kyle Madison, 925-997-7563 was and still is absolutely amazing! First Class business and Kyle far exceeded our expectations! Kyle was very professional and friendly throughout the entire process to install our new ADT system. He made sure we were happy with the sensors and the control panel, which were installed in a convenient yet inconspicuous location that doesn't distract from the esthetic of the home. Kyle also made sure we understood exactly how everything works and how we register with our local police department. Upon discovering new questions/concerns as we became more familiar with the system, the outstanding service continues as Kyle immediately responds with instant solutions and answers to our questions. We are so impressed with this company and extremely grateful to Kyle Madison, who is instrumental in making this the kind of business that definitely goes the extra mile to ensure his customers extremely satisfied! 2 homes and 7 business locations with adt. Businesses have had multiple break ins with alarm never going off. Sensors keep falling off windows. During installation installer broke a window. Avoid adt rip off alert.

Question? How would I sound by saying Effective Immediately I will not pay if the cameras are not working properly. Today, I received a notification that said " effective immediately there will be a charge for a tech to come out to the homes". Not surprised but disappointed that I have not gotten my ringer camera working properly and I'm still going to get charged when it was not fault of my own.I had previously pointed it out to Arturo who was the rep that sold me the ADT package. I had told him about my ringer camera having a delay. At first he had mentioned it might be my internet or weather conditions. But, now that it's not raining at all and my internet has been working perfect I have experienced more delay time. I did contact him around a month ago and he did put me I contact with the local office but have not been able to resolve the issue.

Pros: The ADT security system itself is really good! I feel safe having it in my house. Cons: - The ADT sales representative and her manager who 'helped' us were good till they received our sizeable business. - They accidentally charged us the whole amount upfront, though we chose the flex plan - which is fine accidents happen. However, getting our money back from them was a huge pain - we spent hours trying to text them - and then with Customer Service. Finally, their CRD was the one who managed to get us our refund back after 3 long weeks!!! The sales representative manager never even bothered to call or text back despite us lodging a formal complaint and review with the CRD. Huge pain - make sure to triple check any paper work before giving them your credit card! (We even checked but she assured us that she'd checked the right box for flex :/)

DO NOT USE ADT...EVER! I was an 11 year customer had a few service calls during that time. The Technicians were sloppy and never really fixed the issues. We sold our home and moved. I called to cancel the service as the new owners had their own alarm system. I called the week before we closed on the house and was on the phone for over an hour with three different people trying to cancel, finally spoke to someone and they were going to cancel effective the 29th. It never happened. Two months later I am still getting charged for the service which has been removed by the buyer. Today I called ADT and was on the phone for almost two hours and now SIX people later. I still have no confirmation it was cancelled. I put a stop on the payment method. HORRIBLE !!! ADT is horrible in all areas. Their followup and customer service is horrible and trying to cancel your service is an absolute nightmare. There is no way to cancel on line and now it makes sense. by the time you are given the run a round they either hang up on you or you give up. UPDATE: I forwarded the correspondence to the customer service dept as stated below in ADT's response and they issued the credit due. I appreciate their quick response. I hope they streamline the CSR experience for the customer. Its vital to any sales organization. Thank you ADT.

After reading all the one star reviews , I see that my issues with ADT are COMMON. I decided to upgrade my older alarm system to a newer ADT one. The sales lady made it seem that customer satisfaction is their priority. That was complete BS. All she cared about is making a sale. Installation took over 9 full days scattered over 2 months. It was a nightmare .The technician would cancel the appointment the same day I'm expecting her. I'm the one who called over and over trying to get appointments. The technician was very messy,rough, ruined a large part of our Sheetrock where our old keypad was installed, broke our bathroom window wooden blind, stained a sofa in the bedroom where she left her peeled fruits etc..And now we see that we don't even have an account with them!!! I've called their account management 5 times , waited 40 minutes for someone to answer, only to be told that a manager will call me back. DIDN'T HAPPEN YET. Our contract included 3 cameras which the tech said won't work in out home. The cost of which was not even deducted from our bill .I'll never recommend ADT to anyone. Zero star all around.

Customer service has given me the runaround for almost a year on a reimbursement.I had to send out all the information they asked me for 3 times just to be told by 2 operators that it was received them to be told by two others it wasn't.Excuses,Excuses excuses.Then they seemed to have left out that your camera minutes run out so you can't record any photos until the next month.What is all that about?

Cannot recommend. I called ADT on their 1800 number and told me the same step by step instructions which I already did prior to calling them. I called them 4 times already and was told the same step by step instructions. Why nobody wants to replace the motion sensor I don't understand. If I could give zero this is zero. Looking for another alarm company.

if i could do 0 stars i would. 1. adt makes it very difficult to cancel service. we sold our home, i called in before i was charged. they said they would still charge me for the upcoming month since i did not cancel 30 days before. such a desperate scam. do not sign on with this company unless you want to throw away your money.

I contacted CA Security Pro very late at night after finished working. I was amazed that I got a reply right away from the owner David and the agent Kyle. I work long hours as I wanted to help more people this pandemic but I didn't expect people to work as late as I do. Seeing their immediate reply made me feel that David and Kyle really care about their customers and our concerns about safety. I got to talk to Kyle the very next morning. He was very detailed and patient with all my questions. Despite being the day before the holiday, He spent a lot of time helping me to learn about the security system that his company offers and I felt very comfortable talking with him. I had some concerns and Kyle asked his boss David right away and they were able to address my concern. I am very thankful for them. You can really tell that David and Kyle are genuinely in this business to help people. I highly recommend this small business to everyone.

After being a customer of ADT for almost 28 years I got the worst customer service today I think I have ever encountered. First, a few weeks back I responded to an ad they sent me for a free doorbell camera. Turns out they could not do it since I did not have a hardwire doorbell. No big deal, I understood. So, we decided on another solution. I spent at least an hour on the phone setting this up. A day before they arrived, they called me to me make sure my upload ability on my internet would support the new system. Turns out it would not. Now why didn't they check that during the sales call? But that's not the worst of it. Recently I started having additional issues with my system. I won't go into details because this would become a book instead of a review. I called and waited on the phone for at least 20 minutes. They finally came on and we tried to trouble shoot the problem with no success. They would not send a tech out and instead offered a "virtual" appointment with a tech. I reluctantly agreed. The next day my system went crazy making all kinds of sounds. It took me an hour to get the entire system to shut down, leaving me with nothing. I called them on a Monday to ask for a real person to come out. I spent an hour and a half on the phone. I was told a regional manager would soon be on the line before I was disconnected. I was just trying to get my system fixed before I went out of town for the holidays. I called back and was on the phone another hour. The best they could do was offer me an appointment for mid-January. They said maybe a manager would call me the next day. I then found a higher rated national company that would set up a system before I left town. When I called to cancel ADT we got half way through the process and I was disconnected again. I had to call back and the lady was nothing but rude. I feel stupid for giving this terrible company my money for so many years. Don't let them rip you off too.

Kyle and Patrick were awesome to work with, and I would highly recommend California Security Pro!I recently moved into a home that had had ADT for a decade prior with zero issues. I tested each zone (window/door sensors, motion detection, etc) personally myself and had no issues. When I called ADT corporate to sign up for a contract they quoted me a monthly price 30% above "market" and told me I would need to pay $424 for installation because I had too many zones and they would have to charge me additional labor. We went back and forth with the sales rep, the manager, and the installation team, and the only concession they made was to bring the monthly price down to market rates (not sure why they were trying to rip me off in the first place).I did a lot of reading about authorized resellers (how legitimate relative to corporate? answer: same) and found California Security Pro. Kyle was amazing to talk to on the phone - asked a lot of questions to baseline, thought through it with the team, and then came back the same day with a great price. Patrick came out a few days later (vs having to schedule with corporate weeks' out) and handled things in under 2 hours and was great to work with as well - highly professional and patient in answering questions.There are lots of negative comments about ADT when you look online (regarding cost relative to Simplisafe, et al) - but when you work through California Security Pro, i think you minimize the high cost burden and get the best service, while having peace of mind having the broader ADT platform securing your home.Again, highly recommend Kyle and Patrick, and the team at California Security Pro.

ADT has provided horrible service and I just cancelled our contract with them. Our alarm went out a month ago. I waited a long time on hold to schedule an appointment. It took over a week for someone to come. They were scheduled to arrive between 8am and noon. They finally showed up at 7:30 pm! The tech was outsourced and had no idea what the problem was. It took another 10 days for a tech to arrive. He couldn't fix the problem and scheduled another appointment 10 days later. He and another tech worked on the problem for an entire day. A manager from ADT came out in a new Range Rover and said he was just relocated here and was looking to buy a $5 million dollar house in our area. He didn't provide any help on the problem. The tech finally said that we should change our system as it was not set up properly and It would cost a few thousand dollars. It was a system designed ADT and installed by and authorized ADT service partner. The tech asked me to call customer service to authorize the new service for free. I spent an hour and 55 minutes being passed from person to person. Finally an "executive account manger" promised to resolve the problem and call me back within 2-3 days. They never called so I cancelled the service. This took another 45 minutes. The service agent called the "executive account manger" who stated she tried to call me 2-3 times. Guess she doesn't realize that its easy to prove her wrong (lying) by simply looking at the call log on my phone. The tech charged me $500. I wasted 2 1/2 days waiting around and a ton of additional time on the phone. System was down for about a month. Run as fast as you can from ADT.

This is the worst disorganized company I've ever had to deal with. They hang up on me after minimum of 25 to 30 minimum wait and they have no infrastructure for payments online or the website. They are so disorganized. Thank goodness the equipment works. This has been a nightmare for over 3 months. I have never ever tried so hard to pay a billing. Yet they leave messages and emails I must pay the bill. I've tried but the wait on the phone is over 30 mins.
