We had an extremely distressing experience during our recent visit. My husband came in for a very simple blood test—something that should have taken only a few minutes. His veins are clearly visible and prominent, making it a straightforward procedure even for trainees.
However, the nurse who performed the blood draw demonstrated a shocking lack of skill and professionalism. She repeatedly inserted and manipulated the needle for nearly 10 minutes, causing unnecessary trauma and visible pain. My husband, who has a very high pain tolerance, was in such intense discomfort that he audibly said, “This is painful!”—something he never does under normal medical circumstances.
This was not only unacceptable, but dangerous. No patient should be subjected to such treatment. If your staff cannot perform the most basic procedures safely, they need to return to proper medical training before being allowed near patients again.
We demand that this issue be taken seriously and that your facility immediately address the quality of care provided. No one should have to go through what we experienced.
P.S. To the nurse: please go back to nursing school.

The technician, whose name I sadly forgot, was excellent. He had a great attitude, he was friendly , professional, and good at his job. He communicated the status to all present. My whole experience was great and timely. The location was convenient, with ample parking.

Pros:
- lots of parking, easy to get to/find
- Calvin was a nice and easy going phlebotomist. Seems like the other coworkers were nice as well.
- had no wait as a walk in (though I did try my best to avoid the morning rush)
- QUICK
Cons:
- The waiting room, lighting, patient rooms, and bathrooms are definitely in need of a refresh (moreso a management issue)
- There's no person in the waiting room to greet you/help answer any questions, just an iPad on a stand. Not the worst thing in the world, but I imagine it would be annoying if you had an unusual situation, and had to bother one of the phlebotomists while they're with other patients (again, management issue)

Calvin is the most rudest phlebotomist I have ever experienced at quest. I feel your main requisite for hiring is that they are rude. He didn’t want to help me as a walk me said he couldn’t do it and just because they took walk ins didn’t mean he had to service me. I had been there earlier with an appointment but didn’t realize I had a paper request so I returned with it. After a back and forth he took me in refused to do draw vials for all the test requested mansplained I needed to make any appointment and that they would not take walk ins. If that’s the case then why give an option to wait you should not give such an option. Yet he was quick to take patients that didn’t seem to have an appointment. While drawing he kept mentioning how he should not be attending to me but instead those in the waiting room. My entire life I’ve used quest and now take my own family here. After this experience I feel labcorp should be my new place.

The staff members are not helpful, acting like gods whom you have to please.
I was just dropping off some specimens after obtaining test tubes. The specimens needed to be kept in low temperature. I was forced to wait for a long time as I just walked in, thinking a drop off would be easy. As I waited, I got nervous about the specimens going bad, sitting in room temperature for over an hour. When inquiring the staff, she told me I should have brought ice with me to keep the specimens cool.
I hope my specimens would be good when reaching to the lab. We are at the staff’s mercy without an appointment, which is hard to get with a short notice.
Maybe try Labcorp next time?
