Save your time and choose a different facility then this one. I checked in as walk in patient. The check in device notified me that I could wait 30-60 min. as a walk in patient. I decided to wait knowing my experience at a different location where I was seen within 15-30 min as a check in pt before. But after 60 min. staff kept taking appointments instead of me. They don’t have a cap on waiting time. I could’ve sit in there and wait all day long as more and more people walked in. I’ve tried to get info and let them know that I need to go back to work. They didn’t inform me that if I go online and make an appointment instead I could’ve save my time instead of sting there waiting with no help for hours. Screen had my name on it the whole time too so it was very confusing. When I tried ask why they aren’t providing more info with warning that wait can be hours long, staff was rude, she slipped a card in my hand and showed zero compassion or understanding. They don’t have a front desk in this facility and two phlebotomists are doing everything. Very poor business set up , terrible customer care. I’d advise to prefer a different location than this one.

MyQuest is a very good analysis laboratory, the staff here is friendly, it is however very unfortunate that there is no reception but a self-service computer terminal which makes the appointment impossible, which generates a long wait time unfortunately. Results a little long, take a week.

The quality of the lab work, the professionalism of the staff and the ease at which blood was drawn are all top notch and nicely done. The results also came back rapidly in 3-4 days and was well organized in digital formats. However, their appointment system is buggy and doesn't show sufficient availability. even when you come as the first person on walk in, the standby queue is poorly managed. i wish they improve that process. especially when you are fasting for 12 hours, last thing you want is to wait another 2 hours.

BEWARE!The quality of this place has been steadily declining. The ladies who work there are trying their best, but the whole QUEST corporate insanity is taking over.Yes, I understand that they are trying to streamline things, and yes, I have studied queuing theory back in school. I know exactly that they are trying to do their best to eliminate unscheduled patients. But this is just too much!I've previously been walk-in patient (I usually come super early in the morning, when the place is empty).... and I have been ignored by the staffwho was still setting things up in the background. (Tip #1, Don't tell people you are opening at 7:00 am, when it takes you another 1/2 hour before you're ready to see the first patient)They have made it harder and harder to come as a "walk-in".It's getting ridiculous!Well - here I am, trying toset up an appointment in advance.Oh My God!!!! this is the worst web experience I've had in a long time. It's not that I don't know how the "internet" works. I'm managing several Offshore software development teams. Such a POOR USER INTERFACE would never be tolerated in my company!I tried for 30 minutes, and I was not able to create an appointment within the next 4 days! This experience was borderline comical, if it wasn't about my healthcare. This wins the award for the most backward userinterface of the year. I'll be using this as a "negative example" for future interview questions in my company. This web interface is a shame. And in the silicon valley, this is unacceptable. !!!!If you read to the end, save yourself the hassle, and switch over to LabCorp, they have open appointment slots, and their web-site is logical and efficient.

I had to have blood drawn and went to the 5150 graves west san jose location for the first time. It was clean and the check in is via a tablet where you scan you license, insurance cards etc. or you can have it on your phone and scan the code. I checked in at my time and within 5 minutes I was taken to the drawing room, which was very clean. Candy was the nice lady that I requested as I could see she was very experienced. My viens are terrible and so hard to even find one. I need a butterfly and sometimes they have to use my hand. She didnt want to use my hand because she was concerned with pain. SHe warmed some packs and put them on my arms to see if the veins would come up. She managed to get a vein but it was so slow and hurt. I told her to just use my hand and get it over with. She is so good and it didnt hurt at all. NO BRUISE either!! I know these Phlebotomists work a lot of hours and get moved around to different locations. They dont make great money either (my friend did this for 23 years and left the field). SO be nice to them! Candy was so good and thoughtful and it was a positive experience. I would reccomend her for anyone with difficult veins or who must have a butterfly needle. She knows her stuff and I hope managment reads this!! Very clean facility and very nice staff both of the ladies were very nice and polite.

I am not sure if I am spelling correctly the name of this young lady who did my blood draw this morning. Youin was super nice and helpful. She did an amazing job and I did not even feel any pain or discomfort. Thank you Quest for hiring good people like Youin.

Waiting for standard labs for a week or more is not ok. People have labs drawn for a reason. Results marked as "in process" for week or more to see results is not acceptable. I called and checked with my doctors office and they have not received them either. I'll try another company next time.

I reached Quest lab just barely on time only to find I failed to bring my lab order. I pictured having to reschedule or wait all day. They could not have been nicer. I went home returning with the lab order and was told it would be quicker to sign in as a walk in than to reschedule. I had already signed in as a reschedule so she helped me delete that and sign in as a walk in. They were extremely nice, helpful and efficient. Thank you!

Make appointment 1st or they ignore the walk in . To wait over 45 minutes, there's a gap between, they take early check in appointment patients, not squeeze in the walk ins

Quest on Graves Avenue. Bad experience. Phlebotomist was working alone, obviously very stressed and extremely rude. Was yelling at one patient and patient yelling back. Quite uncomfortable. Will find another location or another lab company next time. Quest needs to re-evaluate their staffing. I have no confidence that my labs will be the correct ones being sent to my physician.

WORST LAB EVER!!!!!! If there is 0 Star, I would rate with ZERO! Came in 15mins before their close time with only 1 patient in the lab. The staff with Russian accent told me they are closed. So why don’t you just say you are close at 2:45pm instead of saying you close at 3pm on the website?! What is the point to have those time listed since the staff just closes the lab whenever they want? I saw that last one patient walked out of the door 10mins right after I left, so actually the staff would have the time to have my lab done!

They say walk ins welcome, but on arriving here the story is a wait of 30 to 60 minutes after it has been already 20 minutes after checkin. That's not walk ins welcome! Post the real wait time so people don't order service from QD.

I've had my blood drawn a number of times and this is by far my worst experience. From the start, the phlebotomist was really impersonal and seemed a bit indifferent. That attitude essentially translated to the blood draw itself. She was rough during the entire process. I experienced pain throughout which was heightened when she hurriedly switched from one vial to the next. With each and every one I had a spike in pain. I started bruising immediately afterwards and the pain lingered for several hours.
