My shoutout to Joseph in the meat department. I found that not all Safeway stores have a full service meat department that is staffed with knowledgeable employees. We were looking for a full standing prime rib roast bone in. After coming up short from 2 other Safeway stores (blank stares, "huh?" We don't have none) was lucky enough to come to Joseph's meat counter. I had a web screen shot of their ad with the sales price. First, Joseph assured me he had what I wanted, but said that the web price was in error. HOWEVER he said he would honor that price! He also detached the rib bones for me and tied them back on the roast (easier to slice after cooking) double shrink wrapped the roast , and personally walked the 27 pound roast to customer service to ensure I was charged the right price. THATS SERVICE!! Hope management reads this. Joseph is an asset to the Company, and excels in customer service

Thank you to Jaime for outstanding customer service. He came down the aisle & noticed the product I was looking for on my cell as I was trying to read the signs above. Without hesitation he showed me where the items were. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable & helpful. Thank you, Jaime !!

Ran into this Safeway this morning to buy the lobster tail. The environment inside was clean and well organized , especially in seafood area. The staff there was very helpful to every customer. But the restroom in that Safeway was kind of dirty , they may need attention to that .

The kid Thomas who usually works closing cashier shift is a miserable F***! Hey Thomas are you aware there are plenty of jobs where you don't have to interact with people? You should look in to it because you do not belong in customer service!!! If someone is kind to you the very least you can do is flippin reciprocate like a decent human being...but nope!!! He doesn't even answer you when you speak to him.. I can't imagine him having any friends with that stank attitude..also the stock lady who always wears plaid and is short.. she's also unnecessarily rude! You never know who you're talking to.

Horrible experience at Starbucks. I believe her name was maya she was completely rude to me for no reason, management is also rude and doesn't speak appropriate as someone in charge should

if i could give it zero stars i would. Rude staff and especially at Starbucks! Maya was absolutely rude to me to begin with she had a very bad attitude towards me and also told me i could not speak to a supervisor when there was an issue made on her behalf. do not go here

I'm sick of this Safeway. You can just see how worn out this place got. There is a handful of customers, currently, trying to find a single shopping cart and there is none! 10 whole minutes of trying to find one. Can we just step it up and hire more people that do their job efficiently and thoroughly? I get there's so many others stores out there, but step it up already. Hire new employees that actually have the energy to do their job. Frustrating and irritating. Sincerely, Every customer.

**** Please read this and be aware **** Most of the front cashiers including the supervisors are very mad and angry people. They are not ready for their job!! I had 8 items total for check out. I had 2 bags of 6 pieces bagels and told the cashier that they are one dozen for $5 today on Friday. I also mentioned that the ground beef and NY steaks are on special prices. Before I paid, I asked to confirm these prices and she was very annoyed and got angry at me. She replied that I don't pay attention to her when I tried to show her the sale prices when she can't answer my question. After couple minutes, the younger supervisor came and gave us a mean bad look. She tried to help so I thought she knew how and I paid. On my way out I double check and I found 3 errors on my receipt. Safeway sale are wonderful when everything are so expensive now a day. If Safeway sale system are friendly to use then that would really help.

Nothing rings up right. Have to go back after each time to get them to fix the prices and get a refund. It's like they don't expect you to review your receipt and slide by by giving some items at sale price some items not. Very crooked

Appears completely mismanaged. There are NEVER ANY CARTS. I see elderly people struggling to walk around the store with those small hand held baskets. If you need to purchase something bullky/ heavy- like milk, soda cases- you probably will hurt your back, arms, shoulders (due to having to lug around- these small baskets). There never seems to be enough staff members, you to have to bag your own groceries. Customers are being told that the homeless are stealing the carts- that could be partially true, but it can't be that difficult to rectify the situation. Some suggestions- Have someone in the parking lot, monitoring the carts. Purchase carts that have the automatic lock function, so they can't be taken outside the parking lot. These seem like easy fixes, but again this store seems MISMANAGED! (nobody seems to care about the customers whatsoever!). Just please do something, anything, to fix this issue about lack of carts!! How can you function as a community grocery store- Without Carts?? It's Rediculous!! Some positives- the store seems fairly clean, and the limited staff that do work there are kindd/ helpful.

This is so LONG OVERDUE. The store has no carts!! You wait and follow the people out to their cars to get one or go in the store and ask an employee to find you one. The excuse doesn't work anymore (the homeless take them). OK so how are you going to make money without filling carts (which I do). Also, my wallet got stolen from another grocery store and spent a good part of my day cancelling everything and the rep at the bank gave me checks to hold me over until my Debit Card came in mail (7-10 days). I've lost my ATM card before and the info person checked my actitivey as a regular customer spending $200-350 a week and it was accepted. But now I was turned down and my basket of groceries had to be put back and away. I asked what are people supposed to do when it's no fault of our own. The young teenager/manager couldn't care less. I'm done and banding Safeway. Yeah, Whole foods is more expensive & so is Lynardy's and Zonatto (better products anyway!!! I can also tell by all the ratings on Safeway "yelp" management doesn't care or take us seriously

I've used Safeway's delivery service several times over the past 3 years, but I'm done now. They screw up my order by giving me substitutes I cannot use and also some of their drivers are incompetent. The last delivery I received was on 7/7/22 and on the way up to my house, I live on a hill with a long driveway, the driver backed his van into my mailbox and my neighbor's mailbox causing damage to both. The thing that bugs me the most is he didn't even have the courtesy or professionalism to tell me he hit the mailboxes. He just unloaded the groceries and went on his way like nothing happened. It was only after an hour when I went down to get my mail that I noticed the damage done to both mailboxes. I thought it might have been a hit & run by a careless driver or a vandal with some kind of grudge; but another neighbor saw me outside and told me he had witnessed the entire fiasco. The driver had missed my street and in the process of backing up hit my mailbox pedestal thus causing the damage. After I called Safeway to report the incident the store manager told me the driver had already filed a claim. I then asked her, why didn't the driver just come clean and tell ME what happened, as it's ANY delivery driver's moral obligation to do so if they damage the homeowner's property. She didn't have an answer other than "Uh, I don't know". WTF! Safeway's insurance company Sedgwick is going to compensate me with $150.00 but the extent of the damage comes out to a couple of hundred dollars more and I don't have the time, patience, or desire to waste any more money on this BS taking it to small claims court. UFB.

Nothing like standing at the deli for 5 min with 3 workers walking by you and not even asking "can I help you?" Or even saying that they will be with me in a moment (All I wanted was to find out if they were going to put out more shredded chicken). And then seeing a worker calling for someone to assist a customer that just walked up for a sandwich. I observed a woman see me, then leave for her break and not even let someone know I'm there, and another just smile at me and kept walking past to the back. Just so frustrating! Just a waste of time coming into this Safeway, because I have experienced this here before. Where has the customer service gone?

Stopped at this Safeway to do some grocery shopping and decided to use the restroom here. Honestly, management should be embarrassed and the district manager should consider putting someone else in charge of this store. Clearly the current manager either doesn't care or doesn't pay attention to their store, either way they're clearly not doing their job. How do you allow a bathroom to become this dirty and disgusting? Toilets overfilled with trash and waste, and also Door stalls with no locks on them? This was not just 1 stall but both. After seeing this I walked right out of the store and decided to go elsewhere, I can just imagine if the bathroom looks like this then the quality of everything else must be just as bad. Will definitely not be returning to this store, if you have the time go somewhere else this Safeway is clearly lacking management.
