1 week after they installed the radio it stopped working I just wanted them to check it to see if it's the radio or the way it was wired/installed , but since I only paid for the install I'm not important enough for them to check it.

Roy and his shop set me up with a great system for my WRX all while meeting my budget and interest. He has incredible amount of knowledge in audio system and is always helpful and honest with you, putting his customers needs first. Great guy

Very bad, they give you an electronic and they install it and it doesn't work and they make you buy another component to make it work and they don't guarantee it. They have terrible service. Don't buy anything from this place.

If I could give negative stars, I would, Roy, the guy that runs the circus is a crooked thieving dishonest, sad excuse of a human being. Took my car to get the system diagnosed due to my amp bass cutting out constantly, originally called guru however they were closing so impatient me just wanting my bass, went to greedy ol' royals right across the street from uncle Guru, BIGGEST MISTAKE "on my part". Royals tested my box to make sure it was working with the amp I had inside of it which it was, it was working perfectly fine when they hooked it up, told me I needed a new amp after they have the diagnostic performed. So I purchased a new one from Royals $152.00, they installed it and the bass was working "for the time I was there", however when I was sent on my way, it cut out when I had gotten onto the freeway, I would have gone back right then and there but they were already closed so I had waited til the next day to take it back. Roy the manager told me "Matthew, I told you it would cut out while you were driving with the brand new amp you purchased, you need a new box" which was a fat LIE. why would I purchase ur amp, knowing that the bass would go out still ? "I WOULDN'T HAVE", I asked if he still had my original amp I had brought with my car yesterday that they were claiming was bad since at this point I don't even trust that that was truly the issue in the first place now, Roy said "yes, I have it here in the trash" he then goes into the back to pull out some old beat up amp that was CLEARLY not even remotely close to being mine, same exact brand however it was so dirty and missing lots of parts and just a completely different amp and it was pretty obvious to me. I had told him that, that amp was not the same one I brought in yesterday and he looked at me as if I was crazy so I took my loss on that amp. So since they weren't even able to get my bass to stay on after all of this like claiming they would have over the phone, they then went on to try a third and final time and told me that it was going to be their last time trying "for free" since the installer "isn't getting paid for installing the system" as if that was my problem? maybe if he did it CORRECTLY the fist time instead of stealing my amp and speaker they'd actually get a good review for once. After all this I finally called Guru's again, they were under staffed however Sunny, and employee of Guru's recommended a place called MNM Mobile, on Horning St, San Jose... BEST DECISION I could have possible made, I went there and Han, took very excellent care of me, I was a lil hesitant to trust him after the first incident at Royals, I told him about it and Han was very understanding me told me I was in the right place, he ran his diagnostic for $90 and found that it was a loose fuse holder, however that was crazy news to be because just before, Royals had installed and brand new fuse in my car and told me I needed it otherwise my speaker would "blow up". I told Han about it and he told me that there was no chance of that ever happening and that they were just trying to scare me into buying more items from them. Han installed and very excellent quality fuse holder for $25 and even included a extra fuse for FREE and told me if my old one ever goes out then to just pop the extra in or just bring it in and he'd for it for me for free... "Not to mention, he even got my original box to work at MNM's that Royal's was telling me was non working or even usable at all". Royal electronics in San Jose is GARBAGE and I would NOT recommend this store to anyone, NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMIES. I'd suggest MNM Mobile or Guru's ANYDAY over this scum disgrace of a circus that they call a business. in total I spend $222.00 at Royals, $152 for amp, $35 for bad quality fuse, and an extra $35 which I don't even know what was for.. in total I spend total I spend $135 at MNM''s $90 diagnostic, $25 new excellent quality fu

We went in to buy an amplifier for our car. 11-24-23, the guy asked if we were looking for new or used. We told him new. We didn't want anything used. He showed us an earthquake sound one. And we said ok. We took it home only to discover it was already used and missing pieces. I don't think it's ok to try and take advantage of people. Because the guy clearly pulled out one box, then quickly put it back and gave us another. When we got home. I saw the box had sharpied on it, Defected.... so tell me that was new... thankfully the guy there today gave us an actual new one. But don't think I'm coming back here for anything. Judging by other reviews its common practice. I also overhead the guy from when we went in, telling a customer they couldn't afford an item... tell me you are trying to help customers when that goes on.... review your business practices. Check who you have on staff. Cause based on all these reviews, your staff is not being helpful to customers. I hate leaving bad reviews... but had my bf been alone, he would've been screwed over. I can be fair and say the guy there today 11-25-23 was honorable and exchanged our item for a brand new one with minimal hassle. But I can't say the same for whoever was behind the counter yesterday.
