Wonderful bakery lady here, Janet. I called that morning asking for availability of cake for my daughter's birthday. They had some. But by the time I went there it was sold. But Janet was so nice and told me that she can get a 1/2 sheet cake ready and decorated in 10 minutes. Usually they don't do it unless you give them 24 hours advance. But she made a beautiful cake for my 6 year old. Love to see people who are so passionate and talented at what they do and love to serve people. Amazing work ethic! Thank you Janet!

Shopping at this larger-than-usual Safeway has always been a good experience for us. Today, I want to give a shout out to Carol and Steven for having my dropped wallet in the Lost & Found!! The time from when I dropped the wallet until you all handed it back to me had to be less than 10 minutes. ACES!!!!! ++++ Thank you so much!

Most Safeways are the same in terms of the products they carry though larger ones (like this one) can carry a few extras items. All I can say is that I only shop for specific items in this Safeway than other places like 99 Ranch or Trader Joe's does not carry. I have noticed that the vegetable section can be a little bit pricey and the quality can be not as good as other stores.

Marilyn Cupertino I was in store and I needed a mobile cart and a very nice young lady went and retrieved it for me. I then went to the part of the store that handles the fresh items and again this very nice young lady gave me her undivided attention. It is hard for me to get through daily life and any way I can get help to reach items, to help me not have to get up or get off the cart makes my day easier. I found the store well stocked although I never did get service in the fish area.

The manager here, Carol has terrible customer service. All the other employees are nice and helpful for the most part.

The Pharmacy here is the worst!! The pharmacist are incompetent. My Dr sent 2 prescriptions to this store the incompetent pharmacist sent one to the Safeway in Campbell after I talked to her and told her Campbell Safeway was sent this prescription 3 times and had not filled it that is why I was having the Dr send it to this store. What did the idiot do she canceled this order. I was being helped by "Gauri" who has no customer service. I came if for two prescriptions left with 1. I told Gauri that this store was incompetent she yelled at me no they are not. I would not be writing this review if I had left with 2 prescriptions. I will never use any Safeway pharmacy again. After driving 4 times to two different stores and going away with nothing.

Great staff, hours, always stocked. Super clean. Prices are crazy high but besides that place is always neat and organized and the staff is nice and helpful. One extra point for the florist area. I always buy fresh bouquets and they are FRESH and smell AMAZING! Better that buying then at a real florist place! And they last a while, too!!

CRYSTAL was a wonderful and memorable customer associate at this location! I receive a work stipend of $20 for a meal and sometimes end up shopping at 12/1am. I went to this Safeway location and had two meal stipends of $20/each. And had to keep each transaction under $20 for sure. I was tired and looking for the fastest way to spend this $40, so I bought a bunch of expensive cheese products! Crystal was incredibly patient, kind, and friendly. She must've made 4-5 attempts between customers to make my two transactions amount to under $20. She never gave up, or gave me a weird feeling for such an odd request and task. I appreciate her and look forward to future interactions with her at this location. She is sweet and knows what customer service is all about! Thank you, Crystal! You're a gem :)

Naagh. Came here today to get Unsweetened Pure Leaf Tea. The big 64 oz bottle. What I found was certainly funny enough, but not what I was looking for. Look close at the picture. The little shelf bracket label clearly says Unsweetened, yet all they had on the shelf was Sweetened. If I wanted Sweetened, I'd buy Sweetened. I wanted Unsweetened, which they had zero bottles of. Shame.

This store is the only one that's open late, & it's always well stocked. The one suggestion is to HIRE MORE PEOPLE! A line developed with only one person (NOT their fault!). Another person came into help check: Derrick. He was very helpful (he even remembered my bagging choice and was careful with the fragile items!). I just wanted to mention him before I forgot. And, to encourage the company to reward these HARD WORKING PEOPLE with a decent salary! You might even get more people to apply, if you paid your workers more and your "suits" less! I don't know any of these people, but I do know how corporations pay the people that DO ALL THE WORK vs. the people who SIT ALL DAY. The people that sit all day can be replaced with computer programs and a little AI ! I was a software engineer before I retired, so I speak from experience! End of rant!

Where to begin? I've been going to this store for 10 years and frankly, unless I'm desperate for something I'm done shopping here. Customer service is terrible, the self-check out system is a technical failure; that each time I use it, it has issues. Today, no one was managing it, so I had to pack everything back into my cart and go to a checkout line. They often run out of carts, the bathrooms are horrible and I keep hoping a Safeway Exec would visit this place and turn it around. Is anyone at corporate paying attention? Go visit Home Depot, use their checkout system, it's outstanding. Go buy some groceries there and evaluate your experience.

Honestly, the only reason I go to this Safeway is because of its location. Right off of Lawrence Expressway and on stevens creek. Otherwise, this Safeway is probably one of the worst in terms of customer service and product selection (can never find what you're looking for here). Today, I had another bad experience here, not with the Safeway staff, but with the two guys selling some sort of pet insurance outside. As I was walking out, I knew I should've avoided them, but when I walked by they asked me if I'm interested in stopping animal cruelty, to which I responded: "yes but no thank you I am in a hurry." They proceed to say "Oh, you don't like animals?" I turned around and saw a smug on one of the guy's faces. I honestly wanted to argue with him but realized that it's going to be a waste of time and brain cells. Either way, I will not come to this Safeway again. They always have random homeless people or crazies walking around harassing people in the parking lot anyway.

SAFEWAY on Stevens Creek and Morris and Sons towing company uses predatory practices. After traveling 2 hrs to San Jose to help family Don on their luck for the Christmas holiday our car was towed form Safeway on Stevens Creeks Blvd while shopped in hat very store purchasing to baskets of groceries. Come out with young child and a baby in the cold night air to no car and bags of groceries. My stepson suspicious of this company and how they could tow my car in just the matter of an hour decided to stay for a while and watch. Sure enough they have tweezers hanging in the parking lot, when you walk away from the car they within minutes put their gear on the cars , tow truck swings in and off the car g oes. The "tweekers" share with him they make $27 per hour and $59 per car... Do you think they car if it's a legit tow????? Absolutely not.. this cost us $430! Since we were going to be in San Jose we promised the grandbaby Christmas in the Park, now having to get a ride with no car seat (it was in the towed car) and now noooo Christmas in the park for her!! Bah Hum Bug, Mister F$#@ Grinch, I also hold Safeway liable for this heinous predatory behavior.

This is a small yet very nice Safeway in a great location with easy no hassle parking. I come here alot because Richard from meat department is very knowledgeable and amazing. He always goes out of the way to help customers and last time cut steak into 10lb roast size so I could dry age my steak. Something you don't see in a supermarket.
