This evening as I was shoping & waiting to c/o, it was a long one line assembled. Line was smelly of dogs stench resting inside cart, it was very offensive unhealthy environment. I had meat items I was trying to buy. I walked to head cashier pointed to the fact only 1 cashier posted & asked him to call manager or some assistance. He said not right now even before listening my concerns very rude. I dropped meat items on unattended check stand & left. Two is a crowd as you preach, this store has fallen down on its face. Perhaps health department will be eager to listen our health concerns/issues. As a manager you're doing unsatisfactory job endangering the public.
Very bad store indeed - I'll not come there again!!!!!

I was looking for a particular item from the Safeway website search results. I thought it'd be just quicker to get it from a store. I searched the section and could not find it. I then sought some help from one of the staff on the floor, and then tried the Customer Service counter. Both told me they could not help me because they don't have a way to look up their merchandise. I joked about it whether that means they don't even know what they are selling in the store. Both of them just shrugged me off. Maybe that's how a supermarket is run. It certainly does not help the customer. They can also try to be more friendly to make it up a little bit.

One entrance locked at 630am, no doubt due to theft. Safeway app bait-and-switched, I didn't get the deal I clicked on. Typical. This being The Bay Area (and Safeway) the prices are appalling. Bananas were very nice. The only reasonably priced apples were beat up.
