There’s some scammer lady outside always asking for money. She was with her kid the first time I saw her. Why is Safeway even allowing this solicitation?
They made this location “one way in w/ one way out”. Even if you don’t buy anything you have to go through the checkout lines.
Since they invested so much money to secure their inventory they can cough up a lil more for security.

A specific cashier was rude, did not answer my questions, had a bad attitude and was looking at her phone and did not have the courtesy to pay attention to me when I asked about a product. Poor service gave me face for asking about an offer. I ask that they have a little more than empathy for the client, or at least answer my questions. specifically the cashier named Tifanny at register number 7 in the liquor area. Really bad attitude. SHE REALLY UPSET ME, THE WAY SHE ASNWER AND THE WAY SHE WAS TALKING TO US......

Won’t ever shop here again. Nothing wrong with the food, but just because the store doesn’t care about the gift card fraud going on in the store — and because of the corporate contempt and disrespect to a long time customer here like myself.
I bought Amazon gift cards for my mom ($150) and for my sis ($50) back in February. When they both opened the gift cards, they called me and said their cards weren’t redeemable because the middle numbers had been scratched off and weren’t readable. Later learned this has been a scam going on across the country.
My gf and went back to the store with the receipt, and at first, the check out woman basically just put her hands up and said “nothing I can do, contact Amazon “. But the associate store manager (guy named James Toledo) interjected and said he would open a ticket for us. He was a nice guy, says it has happened before at the store, and said we’d be refunded in like 1-2 weeks.
It’s now been 3 months, and even though I have called the gift card line many times, can never get through. Even though I’ve emailed Safeway’s gift card team, multiple times, I’ve only gotten a generic email from “Jeremy Mitchell” saying my case is being investigated and this email is not checked regularly .
I’m leaving this review now because I just saw on Yelp that someone left a review saying the same thing happened to them. Meaning the store has learned nothing and has made no changes — like putting gift cards behind the counter . The fraud is still happening.
Safeway makes money hand over fist, and yet they refuse to make things right for long time customers like me and like the guy on Yelp. Don’t give these crooks your money, Safeway doesn’t care enough to refund you. Buy your Amazon cards as e gift cards directly from Amazon .Safe to say my $200 is never getting refunded because of Safeway’s negligence. Then they’ll show their contempt for you by telling you you’ll be refunded as they pretend you don’t exist for months.

Here at 652 am. Store says open at 5 am. No breakfast burritos. Nothing ready in the deli. No food prepared. Still have to wash everything. Booooo. Booooo these people.

I bought a 100.00 Amazon card at this store When I tryed to redeem it, I notice that 4 of the numbers and the tape that cover this numbers were missing and of course the card did not work I Went to the store and couple of workers said, that I have to contact Amazon to get my money back I went to customer service and they did a refund request, maybe I can get my money back, He said, it could take 1 or 2 weeks to contact me back I went and grab another Amazon Card and it was the same, I noticed some of the cards were litte open at the edges, showed the second card to customer service but said they cant do nothig, that they not allowed to remove the cards from the stands Be aware of the gift card scams at this store specialy the Amazon

Customer service no good clerks not very helpful there a old lady by self check out they do not care... I go there because they close late that's why.. Other wise not coming... Walmart better prices... Here 4 lemons 5 dollars... Crazy

I like eating my breakfast at this Safeway, Starbucks is also inside. There is a Security onsite and it is usually one guard onsite. But they can't prevent the homeless people outside the entrance - they are out there begging for food or money. There are also mini stalls with individuals asking for donations.
