I came in this Safeway location for the first time because it is like only around 3 minutes away from Planet Fitness where I work out. This maket is always one of my favorites; and just like other locations, this one is spacious, clean, well-organized and provides lots of great products. Their food and fruits and vegetables are fresh. Some of their items are a little bit more expensive than other stores but if you take an advantage of using the app and all the deals available in there, you'll be surprised of how much you are able to save and get high quality food almost every weeks. This time the app offered Starbucks deal, only $2 for a grande handcrafted drink and a free Organics popcorn bag (Dont forget to check Special deal and Saturday sampler every Saturday and clip the deals right away, otherwise it's going to disappear the next day).Staffs are well-trained and able to help me when I needed it. So far so good!

It is very nice and clean supermarket plus Well Fargo Bank, Starbucks, Hoard' sandwich, Pharmacy, flower shop. One stop for many stores. Highly recommended supermarket

The employees are nice, but there isn't enough of them. The lines are always long, the shelves are never stocked nor faced, the carts always lock up, and the water machine never works. The homeless people in the parking lot are scary and have large dogs. The only reason I go is that the other one closest is even worse and scarier.

I was not pressed with the lackadaisical attitude of the employee I asked direction to birthday cards. She hesitated before she answered, "Isle 20 at the end down there!" While tossing her hand over here head and pointed .The birthday cards were on Isle 21. Not happy with the extra steps on an already sore hip from a full hip replacement on April 11th (2 months ago) after stopping at Safeway from a 2.5 hour drive. Why is this important? The cashier, waiting on the person in front of me, stopped ringing up the customer to engage in a conversation. She must have taken what seemed like five extra minutes to get the customer checked out. All the while my hip was getting worse and all I wanted to do was get to my car, sit down, and take a Tylenol.Please explain to your cashiers do not stop the flow of work to engage in conversations. There is getting to know your customers and then there is damage control from angry customers waiting for unreasonable amounts of time.

The cashier was a talker. Stopped ringing a customer up to engage in a conversation while 4 people were in line. Very irritating to say the least. I am recovering from a full right hip replacement and needed to get to my car and sit down and take a Tylenol.

This Safeway is conveniently opened late, and they have an unusually good hot sauce selection (opposite the cheese). That's the good covered.As a Safeway, they have Safeway stuff. It's a big mid-level grocery store, so no they won't have Whole Foods-level things, but it's decent. If you want to eat organic vegetables they have a decent selection. There's also a Starbucks.Now, I usually come here late at night because a certain someone forgot something and we need to buy groceries after 9 pm, when most stores are closed.I can usually find what I want, but it's the checkout process that just really drags this down. They generally only have one person, and sometimes no bagger, so if there's any line at all it can take 10+ minutes to get through the line. Sometimes longer. It's really painful.The parking lot is also poorly lit and looks a smidge sketchy at night. So that's also not great. But on the plus side, part of it consistently floods when it rains, so you can make a big splash with the giant puddle if you're so inclined.Anyway, at it's core, it's a Safeway, you probably know what to expect. But they need to staff more people at night.

Come here often for their flowers. Super fresh and new ones are put out every morning. My girlfriend loves them!

Just wasted my Sunday afternoon trying to pick up groceries only to find out their checkout wouldn't accept VISA via Apple Pay. After getting an error message in self checkout, I received no assistance from a male clerk who was rude incompetent and unhelpful. Had to leave the groceries since I couldn't pay for them. Great reminder why I stopped shopping here. Definitely not coming back.

Safeway at 15549 Union Ave.Los Gatos . Love Safeway food service and ambiance all great. Really shop there because of the workers all very nice and helpful. The checkers are the best.

Employees are friendly and there's never a huge crowd. The Safeway at Hamilton Avenue is closer to my house but I'd rather drive further and enjoy my shopping experience.

If I could give zero stars I would. First off the customer service here is disgusting and management is worse if you guys want to make this place better you need better management and employees. The managers here let the employees talk to customers however they want and it's usually rude . I've been cussed at multiple times just for buying groceries at this location, seems like all the workers here hate their job.

This store has definitely deteriorated something badly ! twice in a month the chicken I purchased was bad, with ground beef. Common butcher you can do better that that Do your job! I see you there it looks like you are working but obviously not checking and rotating stock. Look at the expiration dates!no items stock no shopping carts and I'm tired bagging my own groceries! the Store is poorly staffed! over priced low quality store. Good luck.

The young fellow working at the sea food counter was very helpful and friendly. He even showed customers how to download Safeway App to get a digital discount.

The staff is always very friendly. They don't always have the items I frequently purchase in stock but it's on my way home from work so it's okay. I order online also

The clerk in the self check lane today at 2pm was very sarcastic. Total attitude when I ask for a stock check on frozen pies. Her response was "what makes you think we have anymore in the back". I have shopped at this Safeway for 20+ years and now I'm never going back.
