LIKE. Place has a good feel to it. Very security conscious. Good transparency on prices. The guy is honest too.

The best coin shop around. Tons of quality coins. Excellent selection. The guy who runs the place is super knowledgeable and helpful. If you don't see what you're looking for ask because they may have it, it might just be out of sight. Good fair prices.

Unpleasant experience !! I don’t know anything about coin collecting but came across some interesting coins. I called this store prior to my arrival, so that I wouldn’t waste anyone’s time. The guy on the phone said to bring them in so he could take a look. I also confirmed that he was available today. He was very pleasant over the phone but in person, WOW! That guy is above and beyond rude. He acted annoyed- like we were interrupting his empty store- when he walked to unlock the door. Before I handed him the coins, he already told me they were, “worthless” then he proceeded to walk back to the front door to let us out. How does this place stay in business with such poor customer service? What a waste of gas and time.

One of the worst coin shops in the area. Owner is impatient and very rude to all his customers also offers way below value on the coins he buys, saw someone selling a nice Peace dollar for $18

This place is really bad. I have a 7 year old who loves collecting coins. He sold worthless coins for lots of money which later I was told they are pretty much worthless due to a bad condition. (verified it on the same dat by a reputable coin shop). Among other reasons, just talk to the guy/ owner, you will know what I am talking about. Low life type of a guy you can totally tell. Will update tomorrow with pictures! The guy/ owner is super rude and weird.

Fast, friendly, service and we got a nice price on our silver coinage. Donald is a treat to banter with and shared his knowledge with my mom on a few things while we got to wander and enjoy the goods. Thanks a lot!

Quick and easy. Unloaded some extra 999 silver rounds I had. The man that helped me was nice and professional. He paid close to spot price which was great as well. Recommend.

O.K. service and the selection was good, but the owner seemed like he did not want to be there. Also, the prices are way better at treasure Island stamps and coins.

Don has a huge selection of coins. The people that are giving him one-star's, I can tell aren't really people-people. This gentleman is older and of a different genre from the people who are giving him one -stars. You have to be all things to all people. I can tell these people haven't adjusted their mindset to deal with someone who is not of their type or genre

I've only bought from here, but I'm very impressed with the low prices of nice coins. The gentleman who owns the place, is a little hard of hearing and doesn't talk much, but all my interactions with him were just fine. I don't what's up with everyone saying he was rude. He usually is at his desk doing paperwork. He was more than happy to give me advice and values on coins. But I've never tried selling anything to him so idk if that's a different experience. But mine have always been great experiences.

After reading all the lousy reviews I was reluctant to check this place out, but I’m glad I did.Not sure what the review claiming they “only do gold & silver” was about, they’ve got displays of proof sets, pennies, nickels, etc. In short, it’s a typical coin shop. Yes, there’s a lot of gold and silver nuts these days so they also do that- just like every other coin shop.Yep, the gentleman there is a bit surly. If he’s in the middle of something he’ll come off as annoyed if you “interrupt him”. If you crave bubbly, feel-good staff, go to Peet’s afterwards. My questions were answered, I was shown the things I asked to see, he even let me use his loop (granted, I definitely got the feeling I should have brought my own). Another gentleman came in- clearly a regular- and they had a good 5-10 minute convo about coins. A lady came in with some coins, he took a quick look, and told her they weren’t worth much (which is pretty typical).I think most most of the reviews here say more about the reviewer than this shop.

Too bad this is no longer a coin shop. There should be a "WE BUY GOLD AND SILVER!!" sign posted in the window as that is the shop owners only interest. Please don't waste your time if coins are your passion. All the shopkeeper wants is to hoard precious metals. No interest whatsoever in coins at this place, unless they are gold or silver of course. Oh yeah, 40 percent silver coins are not accepted.

Don verified the coins in my set and sold me the missing coin to complete the set. He then helped me find information about an obscure World’s Fair coin I have. Pleasant experience.Edit: returned second time and he wasn’t interested
