Positives: car damage fixed with good quality results in an appropriate amount of time given the circumstances listed below.Negatives: Poor communication on two occasions. First, being informed by the store that my car was deemed totaled despite insurance informing me that it was not, which led to a delay in repairs. Second, being told the car would be ready to be picked up by a certain day when it was not leading to a wasted Uber ride. This place doesn't seem to prioritize service and does not provide timely updates.

Update: My car is officially totaled with over $20k in damages, which adds to my expectation of sympathy, and increases the ridiculousness of asking me to point out the one scratch it had prior to the accident.They made it clear that they didn't want my business when the car was dropped off, and so I had the car towed elsewhere. While it's standard procedure when insurance is involved to mark the places where the car was damaged in the current accident, the attitude is usually more about making sure they fix everything. This place was not at all worried about doing a good job, but rather they were worried that I was scamming them. My car is nearly totaled and you want me to point out the one tiny scratch it had before the accident? OK. Next up the standard speech about how they don't take cash or checks for the deductible. Who brings $1000 in cash for a deductible? Apparently that's very common at this place. I got more sympathy about the accident from a random stranger who stopped near me while I was waiting for the tow truck than from this place. I had the car towed to a better neighborhood, where the customers have credit cards, and can expect to be treated with respect and sympathy.

AAA Gold Star Yeah, Right! Service is terrible young kids working there with Major attitude. NONE OF THEM EXPLAIN ANYTHING!. RUDE TERRIBLE SERVICE. When you walk in you have to look for someone to help you and when someone is found they have terrible service

Thank you to Sal, Destiny & James & the auto mechanic for a job well done.I brought my car to their shop at 1460 Terminal Ave, San Jose near downtown last Tuesday, 2/21/2023 PM. I asked a huge favor I can have the repair done (minor dent on the left door & which needs to be painted) on Friday, 2/24/2023. Sal talked to the mechanic and said quickly, "Yes." Sal called me the following day that it was workable. Then Destiny called me Friday by 1:00 PM. I took Lyft to get there by 2:00 PM and paid my co-pay with Geico. James took my car and then I left. They gave me a list of not what to do which is helpful. They also washed the inside & outside of my car.I highly recommend this shop in Terminal Ave for being so efficient, professional and kind. Kudos, Mr. Mike for managing well your Team!

My brand new vehicle was damaged because I left the car door open while backing up and the back door hit the carport pillar (yeah, dumb). I decided to pay out of pocket, not wanting to file an insurance claim and go through the hassle. Joey was understanding of my situation and got an exception to let me pay out of pocket, although they only dealt with insurance customers. Jeremiah called and paid for Uber, when I dropped off my car. All through the repair process, Service King kept me posted and was able to get all the work done in 4 days. When I went to pick up the car, Jeremiah was forthcoming - he said he noticed that they had missed a spot by the edge of the door. He said I am welcome to take the car and he would call me on Monday to schedule rework. Sure enough, he called first thing Monday and scheduled me to bring in the car. Not only was the work done to my satisfaction, they went above and beyond to remove the dealer installed door edge protectors (which I absolutely despised), at no extra charge.This is a business that values customers. I really appreciated how customer oriented and respectful Joey and Jeremiah were. Mind you, the rework was scheduled and done promptly, even after I made 100% payment. Goes to show the high standards that this business adheres to. I will be sure to recommend them to family and friends.

My husbands truck was severely damaged and Service King was able to take care of it in less than a week! Mike McCarthy updated me the whole time and was very transparent on the work that had to be done. I am very pleased with how the repairs turned out and I would absolutely recommend this location vs other nearby shops. They are all super professional and friendly and were very helpful with my questions. They made me feel that my car was in good hands and delivered as promised. If you have a small ding or huge damage, I would definitely take your car to Mike and his Team. Thanks for making our car look new again!

Unfortunately my car was hit and run while I was working. Took my car into this location and it was serviced right away. Welcomed by Joey and Seth I felt comfortable taking my car to this shop. Mike was a great help when it came to service time. With a stressful process he assured me things would be fixed and in a timely manner. Would recommend to friends and family. Glad this was my insurances preferred shop

I took my Toyota RAV4 and Joey was amazing!!! He helped me out so much, I don't know anything about cars but he helped me understand everything that was going on. He kept me in the loop and let me know what I needed without being overpriced!!

I left my car in their care. When I dropped my vehicle off they said, "oh we will keep you updated on the status weekly through text." Lies, no one texts me any updates. When I called, it went straight to voicemail. NO one ever returns those messages. When I reach the call center, those people are so rude. They kept interrupting me and never let me finish explaining. Blind transfers me to nowhere. I literally had to tell them, do not blind transfer me anymore. Get someone on the line first. When I spoke with the service department, they said oh I can't tell you what's going on. Then get me to someone who can. gosh, the car has been in your possession for 4 weeks. Finally when an answer was clear and was told my car was totaled. I went to get my things in my car. They lost the car key. The car key. WTF. No apologies. Had the audacity to ask ME for the spare keys. or Come back tomorrow for my things. No way, I'm done with them. DONE. I just want to get my things and leave, NEVER GOING BACK. Never. Friends and families, unless you welcome headaches, don't go there. I would give zero stars, but I have to leave 1 star. So irritating and this heat doesn't help.

After getting an estimate after an accident, I felt he missed a lot of portion of the damage. I called if I can bring the car in to adjust the estimate. He say it’s off the pictures. So I said if I can point out what he missed and take some pictures. He laughed and said what do you know about body damage. Then followed with you can take your car anywhere you like. Very upsetting and unfortunately as I had 2x great experience at SCLA location and I’m sure this place also do quality work. Very upsetting experience!

AAA sent me here for an estimate after a fender bender, even though I had another place in mind. After the estimate, Ahmed pushed me to start repairs, but I told him that I wanted to check out another option. Ahmed got really upset and rudely said out loud in the waiting room, "You want the cash-payout option, don't you?" How presumptuous and unprofessional! Who does that?
