Beautiful rooms. Live music through the weekends. It's a beautiful place to stay in the middle of downtownRooms: Rooms are clean with beautiful viewsNearby activities: Right next to it is the San Jose Museum of Arts and also the Tech Museum and beautiful fancy food places to eat. Walk away from San Pedro SquareWalkability: Paid parking which I found better than parking across the street and dealing with constantly having to reload the parking meterFood & drinks: Hotel has a beautiful bar downstairs. A lot of fancy places to eat and drink

Waited an hour to get room service slippers, bathroom faucet was difficult to turn, disproportionate to the money

Stayed for a convention. Was nice until there was literally no running water for 16 floors. This was at night when all of my room of four was trying to shower and use the restroom. There was no notification of this at all, and no service recovery besides an estimated fix time of 3AM.Looks like generally a good hotel, but they messed up big time with us.

This is an outdated hotel which is run like it’s on its last mile of a marathon on a 100 degree day. You can tell from their cut and paste response to all the negative reviews that they’ve just given up.Rooms are fine, if dated. No room service available except between 5-10pmOverpriced restaurants with food that’s pretty average.TVs in rooms dont work, intentionally. You must bring your own PC to connect to watch anything.Toilets don’t flush properly which until now seemed like a pretty simply thing to get right.Elevators take 3-5mins on average to get you from any floor, and meanwhile the staircases are locked, which seems like a bit of a fire hazard.Reception won’t accept any envelopes - had someone drop a card off in my name at the desk and they walked it down the hall to FedEx where they demanded $10 just to hand it to meThe gym is nice and TVs work there. Maybe I should have just slept in that room.In sum, they should just change the name to SucksAss by Hilton.

Night 1 fire alarm, ok it happens. Night 2, water shutoff mid evening and Briana (front desk) says "we're doing maintenance, I didn't realize it affected your floor." No notice or warning from the hotel. I demanded an alternate room. Responds rudely that I can talk to manager who will come in at 7AM. So yes, expect 1 star hotel experience with untrained, rude staff. Disappointing to say the least. Swiftly packed and changed hotels. Didn't charge me for the night. So Signia recognizes their obligation and lack a functioning room but couldn't care less about their customers nor any attempt for customer service. Yes, no help with luggage either. This is supposed to be a premium brand of Hilton. Can't imagine the rest. See pictures and video.Rooms: Plain, loose fixtures, unsightly hardware latches to hold bed headboard, commercial toilet, super sized tv with no internet (only 1990s cable wire, nothing on demand, no netflix),large empty rooms and walls with not even cheap art work. Hard beds, maybe common at all hilton.. For the star rating they claim, no amenities, no bathrobe, curtains that don't close all the way, no shoe horns etc. No comparison to Marriott or Accor hotels.

I’m a Hilton gold member. The app would not let me check in with a digital key, and the line at reception to check in was over 10 minutes with only one person working.

One of the worst hotels I have stayed in to date with regards to Service. The room has absolutely nothing except basic toiletries. The mini bar is empty (200 USD was deducted for incidentals ahead of check in). There is absolutely no cutlery, limited tea bags, no room serviceYou try to get in touch with front desk, it goes into an IVR and finally no-one picks up. Everytime I go to the front desk, they say someone will come by to deliver what I need and noone turns up.Mind you the hotel isn't cheap, and they gave me two queen beds for a single person checkin. I wish Hilton would be more careful about their customer needs. I would have preferred a single queen bed option with better services. It's just simply annoying that there is no way to get anything from these guys. They don't provide simple things like a plug converter for international tourists and expect us to buy it.They gave me one of the worst rooms ever. The room was by the ledge and I could see nothing.Next time I visit San Jose, I am going to avoid this hotel.

I didn’t really like this place. It’s centrally located to places around downtown but there are a lot of homeless living on the sidewalks and closed businesses in the surrounding area. The thermostat in the room didn’t seem to work well. It would get really hot but then not cool down for a long time when I adjusted the heater, and then it would be freezing. The shower was weird. The knobs weren’t simple and easy to use because they were designed to be modern and fancy. There were 2 separate knobs, 2 separate shower heads. It should take 2 seconds to figure out a shower, instead it took me like 5 minutes. Hotel shop and food was exorbitant. I wouldn’t stay here again by choiceRooms: Spacious and cleanWalkability: Restaurants nearby

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.This hotel is not a “5 Star” establishment. It’s not even a 2 star hotel. A local holiday inn would be better in almost every conceivable way.Let’s talk about why this hotel is terrible.First: price. Compared to the other hotels within a one block distance, it is nearly 3 times as expensive. You would think that this extremely high cost would bring with it added benefits? Whether it were nicer rooms, excellent customer service, or free amenities (such as a free daily breakfast), but no. What this added cost provides is an opportunity for the staff to be standoffish with guests; old decrepit furniture (the beds are like sleeping on a slab of concrete), the opportunity to pay an ADDITIONAL $47 per day for parking, not including the tip for valet (which is the only option). Hell, they even charge you for the bottled water and COFFEE MAKER in the room.On top of this, if you need to have a package delivered to yourself while staying, you will be charged another “fee” for processing and handling. My best advice. Stay the hell away from this hotel. It is disrepectful to jokes to call this hotel a joke.If location is the only thing that dictates this absurd price and terrible service. Do yourself a favor and book a room at one of the many other hotels within a block or two of this place.Safety: Half the hotel is blocked off and the exterior doors on the backside are locked due to concerns with non guests entering the building.Noteworthy details: This hotel is terrible. The price is terrible. The staff is terrible. The nickel and dime for every little thing is terrible. Just terrible across the board.

Nice hotel. the gym is very good with great equipment but the cleaning is not up to standard. There is regularly a shortage of paper to wipe the devices, the room is not cleaned every day, the hammam is not cleaned nor the changing rooms. It’s a shame because the hotel is very nice.
