Used them once for an oil change for my mother's SUV.. seemed like decent people at the timeCalled for a quote, the person on the phone (Andrew) was short and rude to me on the call, within 30 seconds of being on the phone and asking for a quote, he tried to upsell and then when I tried to decline he was dismissive of me and told me to call some other company. Will never bring any of my vehicles to this location again.You guys just lost a potential repeat customer and the business of my family.1/16/24 update..8 days since I posted this review and received the response below from corporate.. Not a single person has reached out to me since I sent them the email with the information requested. They have no desire to correct any of the issues. I stand by this review and will not change it. They had their chance.

This place tried to scam an extra 100$ from me. I went for a simple oil change but after waiting for 30 minutes one of the technicians claimed that he didn't have the necessary tool (allen wrench) for the job. It would be an extra 100$ for the labor. Unbelievable, I simply left without doing an oil change. Wow.

I wasn't sure if I could get an oil change during my lunch break, so I called to make sure there wasn't a line. They said, "Come on down! We'll take care of you!" The guys that helped me were super friendly, fast, understanding, and completed everything that needed to be checked. I'm definitely coming back.

Your car is one of the most important thing in our lives. When it starts having problems or issues finding the right place to take it to is always a challenge. Besides taking it to the Dealership where it will cost MUCHO DINERO always good to have a back up place so open up the laptop or use your cell phone and start the search. We had to find a automotive repair close to the house and Yelped this place out. The Hyundai Sonata Dealership did not have any available appointments until November 21st. Almost a month away. We needed some professional help on these problems. The horn was not working on the steering wheel and the air bag light was on. My lady was really worried about these malfunctions of the car she drives in traffic everyday. So I called SpeeDee Midas and spoke to Andrew the Manager and when I told him what was wrong with our Hyundai he immediately knew what the problem was and told us to bring it in. We took it on a Friday morning 8am and they did a Diagnostic on it and they called us to let us know what the problem was and how much it would cost to fix it. So, we authorized the work, and our car was ready by noon time. The cost was not too bad and fit our budget. Andrew and his crew were on top of it and handled our problem right away. They were real Pros and gave us the parts and labor guarantee and made us feel safe again with our car. If I need any tires or oil changes or some major repairs on any car I know where we can take our cars to. Thanks Andrew and your techs for handling our Sonata made the wife happy again.

Andrew helped me out immensely. He was honest and very professional. They fixed my check engine light unlike other mechanics at other shops I have been to. All I ask for with car troubles is honesty, hard to find that in SJ. I definitely recommend coming here!

Blame whoever answers the phone for this review. I called and was told I can get my car's oil and transmission fluid checked. Upon getting there and waiting an hour, I was told that I had to wait another 90min for the oil change but they can't do he transmission fluid change. Why tell me on the phone that you can if you don't have enough people to do anything. Then I was told to come on the weekdays, the days I work, so the people who work here have weekends off?

Common service I requested repairing old battery cable terminals and my engine couldnt start. I paid out of pocket for towing im fine with tow. I wanted a quote before beginning towing. Spoke to two employees began shop service then waited through 70mins , to be then up-sold to not have it done, but i called before to make sure cables were in stock. Then was told they dont have anything product. Asked me to pay 600+ redo alternator when average price is 400. Ass backwards extra 200$ cash. Horrible ethics, lowkey discriminatory. How they're selective with customer privilege, how they're still afloat baffles me.

I had an issue with one of my car tires needing air, and I couldn't believe my bad luck when I found not one, but three gas stations with broken air compressors. Feeling a bit frustrated, I decided to give it one last shot and made my way to yet another gas station. Luckily, I came across SpeeDee.As soon as I parked near their garage, I was warmly greeted by a gentleman named Payton. From the get-go, he exuded a friendly and helpful attitude. I explained my situation, and without hesitation, Payton offered to assist me with my tire. He took the time to check the tire and, unfortunately, pointed out that there was a nail in it. Well, that definitely sucked, but I was relieved to have some clarity about what was causing the air leakage.Payton didn't stop at just identifying the problem, though. He went above and beyond by marking the puncture so I could easily locate it, then he promptly filled the tire with the much-needed air.I truly appreciate Payton's willingness to go out of his way to help a stranger in need of "just air" to my knowledge. SpeeDee is lucky to have such a dedicated and caring employee like Payton.If you find yourself in a similar predicament with your car, I highly recommend stopping by SpeeDee, and with any luck, you'll be fortunate enough to have Payton come to your rescue. I come to SpeeDee very often for my oil changes and general maintenance. My experience is always top notch and I truly couldn't have anything negative to say. I've always been greeted promptly and service options are easily readable and available. SpeeDee takes great care of my baby and I definitely opt'd to come here versus my dealership where the wait is long and I feel like I'm being overcharged. SpeeDee prices are moderate and always finished quickly. Need I say more.

One of the worst auto shop. Took my car for oil change, tire rotation and signal light replacement. When I got my car back, there was a weird noise. When I took the car back to the shop, they found low oil and they forgot to tight screw for the tires. None of screw was tight and tire was super loose, headlights stopped working too. Instead of apologizing, the manager was blaming the new person and said new guy is idiot. That Indian manager should be ashamed of himself . He never apologized and tried to avoid eye contact and tried to stay away. When I explained him that this is serious hazard and can lead to accident, he tried to offer me $15 coupon for next service and didn't even apologize . That dump person should know he is a manger and should held responsibility. When I asked him to give me his corporate number so I can complaint, he gave me MIDAS phone number and as per Midas, they are brakes company and no relation to speedie oil change. Both are $hity dumb A$$$. That donkey should know they send free coupon to ppl via mail . Worst customer service ever.

Took my car here for an oil change. I was up sold to a full synthetic that included a 17 point inspection $140. The next day I see oil underneath my car parking spot the oil plug or filter was probably loose when installed and is dripping oil and 3 weeks later my car battery died and I'm stuck in a parking lot because my car won't start. So much for 17 point inspection. But that is not all, my power seat is broken (will move back but cant move forward) told them not the move the seat and even put a post it note on the dash as a reminder. Well, the tech moved the seat and so my leg cant reach the clucth to drive it home. I wont be coming back.

I went in for a synthetic oil change and ask them to rotate my tires as well. Prior to taking my car, the PSI indicated rear tire was lower than the others. I regularly had to put him air in that particular tire. Upon leaving I noticed the gauge indicated that the tire PSI was still the same after calling the shop. I conveyed to them that I did not believe the rotated my tires because if they did the PSI would have been different, I'm assuming because the tires would have been rotated and filled with error. And the PSI changes obviously. Although during my conversation with the manager, he assured me that the tires had been rotated. I still do not believe they were. I paid $60 to have the tires rotated. Also, they indicate that during service they do fluid inspections. I do not believe this took place either. Because two days later my car begins to overheat and when I check under the hood there was no fluids in the radiator reservoir..Services: Tires
