Good extended suite hotel. Clean, everything works. Decent breakfast. No complaints about the property.

This place is the most disgusting place I've ever stayed out in my life. There were roaches in the room and Joel had let me know that he was unable to get someone out to spray it and they had no more clean rooms. The fact that I did not get a full refund is by far even crazier. This hotel should be shut down immediately and deep cleaned. I will tell everyone I know NEVER to stay there and what my experience was.

Don’t be fooled by the 4 star rating. This place is barely a 1-star. Spots and stains on sheets, people sitting in their cars around hotel, people smoking pot around the building, stains on carpet, hole in sofa, electrical tape covering hole in door frame, drain stopper taken out and on the side of the shower.I asked for clean sheets and the worker brought twin sheets for a king sized bed. The lady at checkout didn’t care or apologize for anything.Safety: I wouldn’t walk around outside unless it was necessary. You would think the area would be ok due to the location but it’s not.

Do Not Stay at this "hotel" This is a Extended Stay where there are plenty of " residents" who live throughout the property along with RV's lining the streets who also "reside" there. When you approach the front entrance of this building you are greeted with a rent a cop security car for your comfort to avoid looking at the graffiti and mattresses lined streets. You are not greeted with a smile but in fact look to be a bother to the front desk. They immediately take $250 deposit from your account and then immediately get charged for the room upfront. (this was also new to me and very odd) when I asked the front desk about it she was not able to explain their procedures. I got 2 card keys upon check in and was unable to get into my hotel room multiple times . Each time I would try and get back into my hotel room the room keys would not work, I had to go to the front desk for new activated key cards each time I wanted to get into my hotel room. With the homeless all around and living in this this facility, I did not feel safe. The pool was on the verge of a health crises, the hot tub was drained with caution tape, the firepit outside did not work, there were no seat cushions around the fireplace for the outdoor seats, residents who lived there were smoking all around the facility. I stayed here with my 12 yr old girl for a sporting travel event and would highly recommend you avoid this place!

Rooms are Clean, but room service comes once a week. The pool isn't very clean, but the location ist good (short distance to places in Valley).

They charge an additional $250.00 for a deposit at check in, but the web sight says $100.00.1. The room smells 2. Toilet was used, not flushed and had a poop stain in it when I got to the room.3. The phone was missing parts.4. Cut on the ottoman5. Stains on the sofa 6. The toilet makes a weird noiseNot worth the money. Customer service is no help. They are in another country and won't acknowledge the deposit verbiage on their website

Very friendly and complaisant staff at check-in, just be ready for 250$ deposit. Suite is great, swimming pool is filled with salt water and very warm.

"Could've been better" is an understatement. The layout of the room was nice; it's hard to find true two-bedroom suites, but this place had it. The 'split' layout was nice also since I was traveling with a friend and her young child, so it afforded a bit of a noise barrier (for all of us).The room itself was pretty dated and in need of some repair. Nothing major, but curtains were ripped, one 'half' of the toilet flusher wouldn't work, etc. The breakfast was okay; I had hoped for a little more but it was enough to get you going in the morning. There was one protein (sausage, bacon, etc.) and then one starch (pancakes, etc.), plus some eggs, cereal, bagels, and yogurt every day.The location is also pretty convenient to the airport, which is nice. Relatively easy to get to other parts of San Jose as well.Where things really fall apart is with literally being able to get into our room. The majority of the times we tried to enter our room, the keys wouldn't work. Sometimes the reader wouldn't read the card (indicated by either a red light, or no light at all). Sometimes the reader would go green, but the door was 'stuck' (a little hard to describe, but I could feel the door open just a bit but it's like something was keeping it from opening more).Every time this happened I had to run back down to the front desk (oh, and our room was on the second floor). Keep in mind too we had a small baby, which added complication to being 'locked' out. The front desk clerk (I think maybe his name was Albert?) was always super helpful, redoing our keys and calling maintenance right away. Maintenance showed us this 'trick' with the door where we had to hold the handle a certain way, then pull in before opening, etc. It really felt like a video game and was pretty ridiculous.Sometimes that trick worked, sometimes, it didn't. It was very frustrating to have to go back down to the desk every time we wanted to get into our room, especially with holding a crying baby. There is absolutely no reason for it to take that much effort to open a door.To top it all off, when we brought the issue to the attention of management after our stay, they at first told us "they acted on the issue right away." Well yes, that is correct; however, the issue kept recurring. Then management essentially said we were lying because there was no trick to opening any of their doors. Okay, then why did maintenance have to come several times and show me how to open the door?So not worth the hassle, either when staying there or when brining issues up to management after the fact. The issues with the door caused us a lot of stress during our stay and it is ridiculous we had to deal with that.

This place was actually very nice, the room was big like a college dorm it was clean, quite. Staff was help full. Only downside is that it is in a very outskirt part of San Jose out by itself. The hotel was extremely busy and booked the weeknd I was there so I felt safe but there is nothing to walk or even really drive to. I was there for work with the Discovery channel so was nice to pretty much have my own apartment for 3days. Mix staying there of business folks and then random families who live there?

*0*A big headache and hassle I reserved a 2 bedroom suite at the Sonesta ES Suite. The room was not available due to lack of inventory. According to the property, the reserved room was "out of service" and Priceline's site doesn't accurately reflect the status of the hotel's room/availability. We were then offered the last room on the property, which was a one bedroom at an adjusted rate. I tried to make it work since we drove 2 hours to the hotel. We then asked for blankets for our 5 person party and they didn't even have blankets. No original room and not enough beds or blankets led me no choice but to cancel the reservation and find a new hotel. I am now in the process of getting my money back. So many frustrating things happened, but I just really wanted a comfortable stay and this did not come close

I enjoy staying here. It's quiet and has the feel of apartments. My puppy loves long walks. The staff tends to lack maintenance on our room but I always travel with my own cleaning supplies so it's not that big of a deal. Breakfast is offered, pool, BBQ pit, parking is a bit tight but with security driving through the night it sets ease to park where you can even if it's not where you can see your vehicle bcuz it is being watched for you. Our stay will be a total of 5 months and it's comfortable for that kind of stayNearby activities: There's a gym right next door

We are pretty easy going travelers and don’t have a problem with low budget experiences. But the lack of follow through from front desk staff, and difficulty getting anything did not line up with what we paid to stay here. There seemed to be very little concern for customer service/satisfaction from front desk staff. Also no enforcement of no smoking. Our first two rooms we were put in smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that I couldn't breathe after a few minutes in them. I let the staff know that the previous guests must have been smokers and that there were dozens of cigarette butts in the landscaping rocks right outside the rooms. She apologized and the third room worked out, but she didn't seem to care much and the cigarette butts were still there the entire week of our stay. There were also people smoking at the pool regularly, which meant our family couldn't use it due to allergies to cigarette smoke.Whenever we called to ask for something, like more towels, we were given specific rules to follow to get them (put our used towels outside the door in a bag so they can swap the exact amount). But after following those rules, the hotel didn’t do their part. Our bag of used towels was outside our second floor room 2 days before we moved them downstairs. They were taken but we never got new ones. We finally started taking care of our own trash using bags from food deliveries, and grabbing towels from the gym.We stayed at Sonesta instead of an airbnb because of the pool, and the listing as a non-smoking facility. But we only used the pool two out of seven days because of smokers and lack of towels. We had several family members in other rooms and all agreed that it was pretty poor quality for the price, and the lack of housekeeping help for simple things like trash and towels was frustrating. None of us could imagine staying there again. The three positives we had were comfortable beds, plenty of parking (for $5 a day) and a good breakfast. The people setting up and cleaning up from breakfast did a fantastic job and were very nice. I also give a 2 instead of a 1 or 0 because the rooms weren't noticeably dirty and we didn't have to deal with anything noticeably unsanitary like bugs or mold.Food & drinks: Breakfast was basic but great for our family and other relatives who stayed there. Two hot items daily: circle scrambled eggs (like for a breakfast sandwich) and either bacon or sausage patties. 4 cereal options, oatmeal with toppings, yogurt, boiled eggs, a variety of bread plus bagels and cream cheese, butter, and jam. There was also a juice machine, coffee, individual milk cartons, and a soda machine.
