I visited this store to purchase a Christmas gift, but the item I wanted was the last one in stock and had noticeable scratches across the front glass. When I brought this to the manager’s attention, Gisele was dismissive of the damage and initially stated that she would not offer any discount at all because it was only on one side. However, that side is the top and most visible portion of the item.
After continued discussion, she reluctantly offered a one-dollar discount, later increasing it to two dollars, while arguing throughout the interaction. I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism and customer care, especially from a store manager.

10.27.25 12pm Westgate Mall seemed quite empty. Nordstrom Rack and TJ Maxx had some shoppers though. Ross had horrible merchandise, just browsed there for 10 min. Ross also had a security guard, who was very nice, but really? People steal from ROSS???
Anyway, our daughter found 2 cute outfits for her niece from this TJ Maxx, which has very good merchandise, not as nice as Nordstrom Rack but still very nice household items and clothes. We left with kitchenware, clothes, and snacks! Our cashier was a lovely young lady.

The store was packed with people, it was difficult to get help looking at the jewelry counter. The wait in line was very slow even though there were 6 cashiers.

This review is about the location in Westgate mall in San Jose. The best experience I had to deal with store manager, Gia. Very professional and addressed my issue with pleasant matter. I will be shopping confidently in this location with no hesitation.

They have everything. Kids, women, men, all sizes. The only drawback is that the styles can be limited, such as only a few sizes available, but the prices are lower than other stores, and the quality is good. The staff are very helpful.
