I found them on Facebook marketplace looking for a used Herman Miller Jarvis desk.
Not only the desk was pristine clean, and the place was well organized, David was also responsive to my enquiry and super helpful and willing to work with me on my schedule and delivery options.
I would 100% come back again for my future furniture purchases!

Both David & RJ are exceptional individuals. They are exactly the type of businessmen whom I enjoy working with. I had purchased a Herman Miller used desk from out of state and had it shipped to my office. I purchased a used Herman Miller Aeron 2023 chair, Herman Miller Renew sit to stand 70" desk along with (2) leather guest chairs and other items directly from Tekbenches. I requested their assistance with configuring the out of state desk. They arrived to the office with all of the their items that I purchased in the quality and condition that was advertised and agreed upon. They also brought along an additional hand a cart with their tools and cleaning supplies. The used desk that had arrived from out of state had a lot of smudges and marks that I was concerned about the overall appearance. They took proactive measures to clean the desk, legs, sides and the bottom components that often are over looked. It just looks better than I could have hoped for. They were familiar with working with the Herman Miller furniture that they configured the office in a manner that would work comfortably for me. As a rookie in the pre-used furniture market place would have not know to look out for and set up the room in an incorrect manner. I am so glad that I chose to choose these individuals that went above and beyond for me. Just an ultimate pleasure to work with.

We actually had mapped to OneWorkplace thinking we could look at Steelcase chairs there but when we got there it looked more like a corporate office so decided to search for a different place. Tek Benches popped up as an option and the reviews looked very good so we headed over. Easy parking, and the second we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly man who we later found out was RJ, the owner. He showed us where to look at some Steelcase chairs and then told us the guy who knew everything, David, would be back shortly. David walked in a few minutes later and was super helpful and friendly. He got us all the Steelcase chairs to try, as well as Herman Miller and other options he thought could work. He also advised us to try the chair at one of the desk set ups to see how it felt. There was absolutely no pressure at all. Just great customer service and helpful information. Once we had a chair we wanted, he wanted to show us all the ins and outs of the levers and buttons and features. Then wrapped it up in a thick clear bag (they call it a bag chair) and he placed it carefully in the back of my car. He also advised us on how to drive gently to keep chair from moving and also wanted to make sure we had someone who could carry the 40lb chair at home to unload and move it. I actually was able to carry it fine on my own at home. I told him I’m stronger than I look, haha! The chair is in excellent condition, like new. And they told us how they clean every chair with a commercial steam machine and make sure everything is clean and working perfectly. He even showed us the equipment they use to clean. The store has a lot of other furniture also like stools, chairs, minimalist style couches like you’d find in a company setting, tables, desks (stand up) and others, file cabinets, storage, etc. We are thrilled with our purchase and will come here again in the future. I highly recommend this company! And RJ and David are just awesome!

Tekbench has been my go-to choice for my home office furniture needs. Their prices were reasonable, and the purchasing process was straightforward. Throughout the experience, their communication was excellent, especially when coordinating delivery. I appreciated their practical approach when they found a solution by replacing just the table top instead of requiring a new table, thanks to Rudy!

Staff is friendly and helpful, terrific buying experience overall. I bought a used standing desk and mobile pedestal from here recently and couldn't be happier with my experience. They responded very quickly through email, had helpful suggestions and made sure I was receiving a quality product. Very fair prices too!

I made the trek from the East Bay over to Tekbenches and am so glad I did! I got a gorgeous sit/stand desk, monitor arms, and locking pedestal drawers that would have cost way more anywhere else (even on Craigslist). The showroom has plenty of lovely office setups to choose from that look brand new but are at discounted prices. The staff are responsive, friendly, and helpful. This place is great!

Great shop! Like others have said, it's very nice that the showroom is well lit and well kept and all of the desks are operational. The owner goes around to businesses that are liquidating their office furniture and picks the nicest desks to resell, so nothing here is beat up or broken. They have a lot of configurations, sizes, and colors. I purchased a 30x60 corporate-grade Jarvis standing desk in great shape for around $400 (would be at least $1k if new) and they delivered it to my house same day. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Really glad I went with this and not a cheap Office Depot pressboard situation for the same amount of cash.

Just got a used sit/stand desk and the service was pretty incredible. Really friendly folks, they explained how the business worked and what parts I could get for the desk. I ended up getting a workrite just because that's what I had at my last office, but they offered me new and used options for the top in whatever color I liked. For budget reasons I took the used one and they gave me a great price reflecting the condition. Delivery is pretty reasonably priced if you're in the region, and flexible to delivery location for an upcharge.

I'm glad I found this company because I've been trying to get an office chair off of craigslist which was difficult and stressful, I contacted a few individuals who were either sold out, non-responsive, or shady. I found Tekbenches on a craigslist but when I emailed them to inquire about the Steelcase leap v2 chair they responded almost immediately to my email. I looked up the address provided and found that they had a solid 5-star review on yelp and everyone seemed to feel good about their purchase and the customer service they received. After a few back and forths with Rudy via email I felt really good about this decision and placed an order online and picked up the chair early the next day. The chair itself is in amazing condition, it looks brand new and I got it for an amazing price. $1000 retail brand new chair for $325 is a great steal and I've never experienced a chair more comfortable. I'd recommend this company to everyone I know. Edit: I wrote this review originally about 3-4 years ago but it has been sitting in my drafts ever since. I decided to post it today because I still have this chair and it has been amazing after so many years. I gave it to my boyfriend because when he sat in it he fell in love with it immediately and I'm happy that more people can benefit from it. :)

Very quality stuff they have here. I came to Tek Benches in search of a used/refurbished Steelcase Leap v2 and was presented with a few that basically looked and felt brand new. Dave helped us out and was a very down to earth guy. Initially, I mentioned that i wanted to check out some other stores, and he didnt even show any hostility from it. He shared some very entertaining and funny stories and his experience in the business. Very genuine person and you could tell he wholeheartedly enjoyed his job. It was his welcoming presence and their quality chairs that won me over. Big thanks to Dave and RJ!
