Customer service, scheduling is an absolute nightmare at this Salon. As if they do not like having customers.
Some of the student stylists are pretty good (I had seen two) however the attitude of the receptionist, and the teacher / mentor is totally awful.

I came in for a haircut and deep conditioning treatment with Annie, and had such a great experience! She was so easy to talk to and made the whole appointment comfortable and enjoyable. Annie explained everything she was doing, shared helpful tips, and checked in often to make sure I was happy with the process.
The deep condition left my hair feeling soft and healthy, and the cut turned out exactly how I wanted. Annie really listened and delivered. I left feeling refreshed and confident — highly recommend booking with her!

I recently visited The Salon Professional Academy and had the pleasure of working with Jade, and I can honestly say she went above and beyond my expectations. From the moment I sat down, Jade made me feel welcome and comfortable, taking the time to listen to exactly what I wanted while also offering her professional insight.
Her attention to detail is incredible—she worked carefully and skillfully, making sure every step of the process was done with precision. Not only is she talented, but she also has a warm and genuine personality that made the entire experience enjoyable. You can tell she takes great pride in her craft and truly cares about her clients’ satisfaction.
By the time we were done, I felt refreshed, confident, and absolutely in love with my new look. I can’t recommend Jade enough—if you’re looking for someone who combines skill, professionalism, and kindness, she’s the stylist to see.
Thank you, Jade, for such a wonderful experience!

I got my highlights done earlier this week. And I’m overall happy with the quality of the work. I know highlights can take some time. I’m more rubbed wrong by the staff. The front desk person was just overall uninterested in people. On the phone and in person on two separate occasions. I didn’t know my hair stylists name as he didn’t bother to say it. He didn’t talk at all, and maybe I was giving off a vibe. I felt like all the other stylists were engaging and he seemed nervous. I think he’s close to graduating and maybe doesn’t care anymore? I’m not sure. And then he’d have friends come over and talk to him. And then at the end his friend came over to do half of the blow drying for my hair. I just got off energy. Maybe it’s because I’m a few years older than or something. Weird vibes.

I visited the salon today to support Annie, who was an absolute joy to see. I would definitely return just to see her again. However, this review is for her instructor, Tammie.
Unfortunately, Tammie barely allowed Annie to do the haircut—Annie only completed about 10% of the service while Tammie took over the rest. I came in with inspiration photos (which I’ve used successfully with other stylists in the past), but Tammie was dismissive and rude when I tried to advocate for what I wanted. At one point, she said, “You do realize that picture is curly hair and your hair is straight?”, as if the style couldn’t be adapted to different hair textures. I’ve had my hair cut to the same inspiration photos before, and other stylists had no issue giving me the look I wanted.
Tammie cut off several inches before I had time to fully process, and I found myself silently shocked as it kept getting shorter. She was also condescending, both to me and to Annie, making comments like “It’s already blended, how much more blended does she want it?” and “Even a seasoned stylist would have trouble with the cut.” No seasoned stylist has had trouble with my hair before, so the remark felt like a deflection.
The result? A botched haircut, including a literal tail, as seen in the photo. It looked nothing like the photos I brought in. It felt like Tammie was trying to replicate a styled photo with no thought for how the cut would/should look unstyled, or how much length was needed to recreate the look after styling. By the time she finally asked if I wanted it shorter, the damage was already done. I just said I was okay to avoid leaving looking like Edna Mode.
I later had to go home and fix it myself.
This was disappointing, not just because of the haircut, but because the learning opportunity for Annie seemed so limited. I truly hope that moving forward, students like her are given more space to practice and grow. Clear communication, respect for the client’s input, and a willingness to collaborate can make all the difference.

Disappointing Brazilian Blowout Experience - You Get What You Pay For
I had a very poor experience getting a Brazilian Blowout. While I understand this is a learning environment, it’s only fair to expect that services—especially chemical treatments—are done safely and effectively, and that there’s a remedy offered when things go wrong.
The instructor stepped in multiple times to correct the student. At one point, she said the product had been applied incorrectly and warned that it could burn my scalp. That should have been my sign to walk out. Unfortunately, the treatment didn’t work—the frizz is still very much there. I was told I could come back within 7 days for a redo, but I’m on a work trip and that simply isn’t possible. Not to mention, repeating the treatment so soon can be damaging to hair.
I normally go to my regular stylist who charges more, but always delivers excellent results. This was a classic case of “you get what you pay for.” I took a chance to save money and now I’ll have to wait it out with frizzy hair.
I hope the salon considers offering more flexible support when a service is mishandled, especially when the client is left with poor results and no realistic recourse.

I got my haircut here yesterday and cut a short bob. The girl I got my haircut with was very quiet and did not speak for a majority of the appointment. I noticed my hair looked uneven and told her and she just continued to cut which was way beyond what I had wanted cut. I had to ask her to call the teacher over and she tried to fix it but I walked out with an extremely uneven and choppy haircut that I now need to get fixed. Never going back. Do not recommend. I wanted to love it, the experience and everything but I can’t wake around like this I need to get it fixed and pay more. The appointment also took three hours, what a waste of time. I’m traumatized from getting haircuts now.

I recently visited The Salon Professional Academy for a Classic Facial and High-Frequency Treatment — and I had an amazing experience!
From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth, and I was warmly greeted by Sarah. She guided me to the changing room where I was provided with a robe to wrap around my waist. Don’t worry — you don’t have to fully disrobe; I kept my pants on and simply wore the robe on top, which made me feel comfortable and at ease.
Sarah was incredibly welcoming and gentle throughout the entire facial. Since it was my first time getting a facial, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but she made the experience so relaxing that I almost fell asleep — I even caught myself dozing off at one point!
The Classic Facial left my skin feeling unbelievably soft — I’ve honestly never felt my skin this smooth before. It’s remarkable how just one session can make such a noticeable difference. Sarah clearly knows what she’s doing, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book another appointment with her.
The High-Frequency Treatment was a unique experience. Sarah placed a some kind of cheesecloth over my face and used some static wand, which felt strange at first since I wasn’t sure what it was doing — but the results spoke for themselves. My skin felt more awake, less inflamed, and even a bit tighter. I’m not entirely sure of the science behind it, but whatever it did, it worked!
The best part? After my treatment, people actually complimented me on my glowing skin — something I’ve never heard before. That alone is all the validation I need to come back for another session.
A huge thank you to Sarah and The Salon Professional Academy for such a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be returning for more treatments!

I was so impressed with Brielle's skill and professionalism, especially as a student. She took her time, explained everything clearly, and gave me a gorgeous balayage with the help from her teacher, Ms. Jenna. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and dedicated stylist, student or not! Brielle gave me a thorough consultation before my balayage, really listening to my hair goals and offering helpful suggestions. The result is exactly what I wanted – a natural-looking, beautifully blended balayage. She's fantastic! Thank you, Brielle and Ms. Jenna!

I really want to change this review and hope they will do right by me. I booked an appointment over a month ago for a color. I confirmed 2 weeks ago and yesterday. I even did a phone consultation and sent in pictures of what I wanted. When I got there they said there was no one to take me and asked me to wait 1.5 hours. I waited and went back and the instructor said I needed a different type of appointment and would have to come back another day. It's Valentine's Day and I had plans tonight. I am also scheduled to take engagement photos soon so was very much looking forward to having my hair done. The disorganization and lack of communication is very disappointing. I literally took a day off work for this and confirmed several times with them the type of appointment and length needed.
I'll try coming back next week and if it goes well I will change my review. But right now I'm very upset and very disappointed. What a waste of a day off.

I had the absolute pleasure of seeing Stella for an all-over head platinum highlight, root tap, volume curled blow dry, and layered cut—and let me just say, I have never felt this good about myself in a really long time. From the moment I sat down in her chair, Stella made me feel completely at ease. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. The highlights are just gorgeous—bright but natural, and the root tap gives it such a seamless, dimensional look. The layered cut is so flattering and gives my hair so much movement. And don’t even get me started on the blow dry—my hair has never looked so full and voluminous!
Stella’s attention to detail and expert technique completely transformed my hair, and I truly feel like a new person. It’s so refreshing to leave a salon feeling not only pampered but completely confident. If you’re looking for a stylist who knows exactly what they’re doing, is super talented, and genuinely cares about making you feel amazing, I cannot recommend Stella enough. You MUST go see her, she’s an absolute gem!

Absolutely the most unprofessional place! Worst experience! Groups of moody 20 something’s standing around unable to take a client. I scheduled a simple deep condition treatment with hair cut and was sent away twice because they didn’t have someone available. While I saw groups of woman dressed in all black were standing around talking to each other, leaning on counters and scrolling on cell phones.
Clearly they’d rather work on manikins and each other than actually perform public service. I recommend the administration give front desk service performance evaluations and proper training.
I won’t be back and I I recommend that anyone who values their time choose another option. Some things are worth paying extra for!
