There customer service needs improvement, so rude and they seem not to care, It seems there is No training on how to talk to customers, very very disappointed, I will Not recommend this place again..

I purchased a new refrigerator through Home Depot and I've needed to ask a few question before it arrives and trying to get anyone in the phone in the appliances department is impossible, they kept passing me along to the next department. I was on hold for 15 min and they hung up on me, I tried multiple times and never got a hold of anyone ended up trying a few different store and still could get anyone to answer my question. I guess San Jose Home Depot's need to hire and train more appliance specialists. Connor from the Campbell location finally helped me.

This review is specifically for Micheal Chaim the Kitchen and Bath Consultant . Micheal assisted my wife and myself regarding carpeting for a newly remodeled bedroom. Micheal took the time to listen to our needs, and then offered suggestions for the type and grade of Cary. He explained the process of installation, available discounts and availability. Before visiting Home Depot, we visited Lowes and were left to figure out everything ourselves. It's representatives like Micheal that keep us returning. He is truly an asset to the Home Depot Team

I received poor customer service from this Home Depot location. First they sent the wrong barbecue grill on May 16th. I ordered a 3 burner and they sent a 2 burner. The correct grill was delivered on May 19th, thankfully. Since I don't have a truck, I cannot return the wrong grill on my own, so I needed Home Depot to do it. After long time waiting for this store to pick up the phone, that said they will pick up on May 22nd. May 22nd, they sent a flatbed truck to pick up a 2 burner grill. The driver was upset because this was the wrong truck to pick this up. He said he talked to someone at the store and they will send the correct truck to pick up later today. Nobody ever came. After many attempts to get someone to answer the phone, when they finally did, they said it was rescheduled to be picked up on May 25th. May 25th, I called at 4:30pm checking to see if someone was still picking this wrong grill up. After a long time, someone finally picked up and they said yes. Since the pick up window is 6am to 8pm, I did not go to my kids recital because I wanted to make sure they picked this up. THEY NEVER CAME!! I called back and again, it took a long time for someone to answer. When they did, I got some clueless kid and he said that pick up was never scheduled!! I was furious. In the background I can see heat some girl laughing. Unprofessional!!! I was told they would pick up on May 27th.May 27th, nobody came!!!The next day I called the corporate office. They just forwarded me to Capital Expressway store and it just kept ringing. I was so damn frustrated I hung up. May 29th, I called early in the morning and they answered quickly this time. I explained nobody came to pick up this wrong grill on May 27th. She said she saw there was a scheduled pick up, but sometimes the third party service they use won't pick up if they'd truck was full. Nobody called me to inform me. She said the best thing she could do was reschedule to pick up on June 1st. Finally on June 1st they finally picked this darn thing up! I will no longer give my money to Home Depot.

I made a HUGE mistake buying from Home Depot. It is not just this store. Their Customer Service department is terrible too. They have terrible delivery standards and they do not follow Thru on their agreements. I have been getting the run around trying to get my NEW dishwasher delivered and then repaired so that it will function. I was then promised a compensation credit for all of my hassles (whole process has taken over 2 weeks) and then I am given the excuses and also told I need to go back into the store to get a refund (which I don't feel is enough for the hassles)! Hell no. In this day of electronics, do it over the phone! I was also told to call the store and Caesar took my call and said he would call back in 1 hour. I gave up waiting after 3 hours! Go anywhere but Home Depot. Not worth the hassles and run around!

Today I visited their rental shop to rent a backpack blower. Employees kindly explained how to use the blower that I was renting Their kind attitude was a stark contract with my experience in another Home Depot rental shop in other location (Employee did not properly explain how to use it)

I had purchased literally thousands of dollars in appliances and when they delivered them they didn't bring the installation kit to the dishwasher or power cord that I already paid for. I had my person here ready to install so I drove down to home depot and requested the installation kit and power cord. I had asked for the same price they initially charged me for however the appliance manager didn't see it that way. I asked if my time driving down there gas etc... meant nothing? didn't matter. I end up having to pay more for the items that they didn't bring to begin with. No meeting me half way on this...Really sucks as it was their error not mine...Appliance manager needs to be retrained in Good Customer Service....

This review is for specific employee Michael Gelinske at 1861 store. I couldn't pass by today without getting his name.He has helped me immensely every time I have visited this location . He is so helpful and knowledgeable and available. If Home Depot have an employee of month no doubt that Michael has to be chosen and his dedication has to be praised and acknowledged

I made reservations for a cargo van rental a week prior. The day before the pickup, I received a text that they cancelled the reservation due to unavailability. I was so upset and called them. The employee apologized and gave a BS excuse that probably one of the staff must had input the wrong date. It ruin my schedule at the last minute when this happen. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!

The sales guy in Appliances with the ID MAC1C52 deserves a raise!! Showed up on a busy night and he was attentive to us as well as other customers. Great knowledge and recommendations. I ended buying a fridge and washer and dryer thanks to him. 10-stars
