Yesterday I went to Ulta to learn about the Perricone Skincare Line. I have been looking for a new brand for my regimine.They were having a showcase event for the brand, and I thought it would be a good time to pick the representatives brain.I have to say I was impressed by the whole experience. Kaitlin, Jessica, Kylie, and Ruby the Ulta employees, Larry the Perricone Rep were amazing. Not only did I learn about the brand, I learned about my skin and what I need to keep my skin hydrated and healthy. I learned why my current brand was not meeting my needs and why I don't have to spend a fortune on skincare. I was given a couple of samples for stuff to think about for the future and purchased what I needed.I came away with ONLY the products I needed and a new skincare line. I didnt feel like I was being SOLD something or feel rushed to make a decision.I have been to this Ulta location before and every time I have a great experience. They are super busy but still try and help the best they can. Thanks Ulta & Perricone!What a great day!

The cashier is funny in here. Before asking others “don’t you have a cellphone”, just ask yourself “don’t you have a brain?”Your BB cream foundation is thicker than your brain ?

No sense of urgency at the registers with one cashier and 8 people in line in the store and all perfume displays completely empty.

I like the Benefit Brow bar inside. Service has always been prompt and good! I wish there was a way to check-out with the beautician instead of going up to the cashier. Like others have said, service from the cashiers is on the low side. That’s the only reason I’m going with a 3/5.Lots of ♿️ parking and accessible walking paths in front of the store. Need to go up ramp to sidewalk to access the store.

This is by far the most hated ulta in San Jose there's literally a thread of how awful and miserable the employees are here on the Bay Area forum. I decided to give it a chance and they failed twice if you hate your job at the ulta establishment please refrain from impacting the customer service with your horrendous ugly attitude. Honestly I understand why the reviews are horrible

Soooooo , I booked an appointment for a perm , wanted to try to train my actual curls. Got the confirmation call the day before I was skeptical but said hell with lemme just try it.Arrive to my appointment was greeted by front door which was nice , the store looked pretty clean from the few aisles I walked down. But headed back to the hair salon for my appointment.We did some hair history talk and as well as trauma dumped by the time I was out of the shampoo bowl So I was pretty excited for the most part. She accidentally used the 2nd or 3rd step first ... i was kinda scared about my hair but she said it was okay and would wash out. So back to the shampoo bowl we went . She went back to go get all of her treatments ready... and she wasted a bottle that we actually needed to even continue. So obviously my heart sank as I sat in the chair with wet hair ... she offered to cut my hair.. but I didn't want my hair cut I wanted curls did I mention my daughter's birthday was the next day? So I just anticipated and planned on having this head of curls .... and nope , I told her I have only had heat about 10 times since last year when I cut my hair ... she made me number 11 by attempting to give me curls that "could hold" till tomorrow... it didn't. But honestly just disappointed i waited all week and then for a chain location like ulta not the have the products was just beyond whack. It wasn't completely the stylist fault .. they should have a stock of hair items they use. But yea 78% chance won't be returning..

After my hair appointment for a very formal event was cancelled on the same day; I decided to give this location a 2nd chance... So as I walked in I got a cheery greeting from the female security guard as 4 associates laughed and talked loudly behind the counter with about 5 customers wandering around the store. I went in for a specialty shampoo advice but there was NObody in the salon at 2pm. I attempted self service reading bottles and gave up after about 20 min. Back at the front counter I found 2 females. one ringing at the register (one customer, no line), the other one clearly doing stock work. Ms. Stock Worker told me "we are short staffed" when I asked for help! This store is an EMBARRASSMENT to Ulta! I have used several other stores in CA and AZ and the service is consistently exceptional everywhere else.

I come to this location a lot, like once a week. Usually most of all cashiers are friendly and welcoming such as spencer who was amazing!! However they need to get a new manger or supervisor. There is this skinny short lady with dark hair who is always so RUDE. I believe her name is Destiny. She always responds to me with an “I don’t care” attitude or just rude responses. Also to mention she never the one ringing me up but she does go out of her way to interrupt the conversation when someone else is helping me just to be snappy. She definitely doesn’t seem to like her job and makes me not want to return to this location.

I come here for my hair color and all the amazing products. Aryn always does such an amazing job. Aryn listens to my hair issues, makes suggestions, answers questions, but I never feel pressure to purchase. All the stylist and staff are really great!

I love being able to grab beauty products and get my hair done in the same place. My hair felt and looked healthier after a good wash and cut. I was able to get lots of recommendations and leave without breaking bank as well.

Shout out to Tyler for cutting my hair!! She was sooooo patient with me and tweaked everything I asked for. Plus she is funny and personable and I had a great haircut experience. :) Totally recommend her (also she does the hair for all the store employees so that's another vote of confidence that she does a great job!)

ZERO stars. Cancelled hair appointment with 3 hours notice. This was an appointment for senior prom today. They had no one else available to cover. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!

One star because the store cannot even make clear pricing. The shelf states one price on cash register different price. Both store manager or employee did not care to do anything about it not even apology. Beware of their clearance prices.
