today 3/18 I went to the UPS store at 5669 Snell Ave San Jose CA. I was guided very enthusiastically and thoughtfully by an employee with code 157719. I am truly happy and satisfied with UPS's service.

This UPS store is conveniently located, close to hwy 87 etc. but the notary services suck. They say one price over phone and charge you more after the work is done. The Indian guy is sly and mean. Be careful.

The personnel at this store make me return all of my business there. I could literally go anywhere but the staff here is so cool that I will only use this one.

Going into the store was quick and easy. No hassle. The rep was courteous and I was happy with the result.

Received a badly damaged ups box with the items inside damaged, so brought it back here to return. I asked for 2 small pieces of tape to cover the damaged parts so the contents remain in the box and the guy at the counter said we can only tape the main opening because tape is expensive. Okay, not my problem, deal with Target for destroying their stuff.

The Asian younger man always extremely rude, he sighs when he sees a return. And never before have I been asked for a box for amazon returns. I understand if things have changed but there is a better way to talk with customers. If he doesn’t enjoy his job, it’s not my fault!PLEASE AVOID WASTING YOUR TIME HERE, THEY WONT BE OF MUCH HELP ANYWAYS !!

I can see why this store has horrible reviews. Unwilling to help. Unnecessary rude when I was just trying to be assisted with a problem. Yelled at me and hung up on me for no reason. This UPS store should SERIOUSLY consider hiring a new manager. He should be ashamed.

The Indian guy there makes me ashamed to be Indian. He yelled at me for bringing in a tire to return without packaging. Guess what... every single tire I've ever purchased online has been shipped without packaging, just the label stuck to the outside of the tire. Apparently that was too much for this guy to handle and he yelled at me that I didn't have a package.I would find a different UPS store, or better yet, go to Fedex. Better rates and much cleaner stores.

So I went to the store to return my bike which I bought from Amazon and there was a rude Indian guy who scanned my receipt and he said it should be in package and I said how much is for packaging? he said $128.92 USD!!! No I don't want this! give me back my bike and he said "No we cannot give back your bike because it's already scanned"!! He started to scream at me and he said we are closing and tomorrow is Sunday, If you don't pay $128.92 USD by Monday at 9:00 AM we will throw your bike away and Amazon will never going to return your money and you don't have any proof for that" !!! I said okay and I left. And I reported him to Amazon Customer Service.DO NOT GO TO UPS STORE IN SNELL AVE, THEY WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU BY TAKING CRAZY AMOUNT OF MONEY FROM YOU!

Absolute worst customer service and prices so high I genuinely don't think this guy has a clue what he's doing! $25-55 to ship a package Fedex will do for $12.

The guy Shah is a sorry excuse for us Indian immigrant businessmen. And we apologize for him. Dude is outright rude. The price gouging is ridiculous. It's 0.18c to print a paper on the Ups website that says same day pickup or in store print. This lost soul will charge you $3.AFTER my return label had printed he said he can't return the item because the box is damaged. Why didn't he tell me earlier? The box was in front of him. So I paid $3 to enter this store and didn't even get what I paid for?Reported to Amazon, UPS and will be doing a chargeback with chase bank. Easy.I'd drive a couple more miles in either direction for better UPS stores.

First off, the UPS Store, where dreams meet reality. You walk in, and it's like stepping into a maze of cardboard boxes and packing peanuts, a real-life version of the world's oddest obstacle course. But hey, it's all part of the charm, right? Who needs clear paths when you can have a mini-adventure every time you need to ship a package? Now, let's talk about the staff. Some days, you might encounter a crew that's so cheerful it's like they've been mainlining rainbows. They'll greet you with a smile that could blind a vampire, and their efficiency will make you think they've got teleportation powers. Bravo to those superheroes! But then there are the other days, the ones when you walk in, and the employees seem like they've had a fight with a cactus. Maybe they didn't get their coffee fix or their favorite pair of socks got eaten by a laundry gremlin. Who knows? You'll get that "are you wasting my precious time" vibe, and it's as refreshing as a slap to the face with a wet fish. Now, let's dive into their services. Shipping? Oh, they're all over that like a pack of hungry wolves on a T-bone steak. They'll package your goods tighter than a sardine in a can, ensuring it'll arrive at its destination like it just got out of a spa treatment. But beware, my friends, because this luxury treatment comes at a price, and sometimes you'll wonder if you're shipping a kidney across the world. On the flip side, printing services might be a bit of a mixed bag. You'll find their equipment is more reliable than your average politician's promises, but it's as slow as a snail on Ambien. Want to print some last-minute flyers for your grandma's 90th birthday party? Well, be prepared to age alongside her before they're done. And now, let's address the devil himself – parking. Oh boy, you better have a parking fairy on speed dial, 'cause finding a spot near the store can be like searching for Bigfoot riding a unicorn. Good luck with that. But hey, it's not all doom and gloom. "The UPS Store" does have one hell of a saving grace – their customer service. Beneath their sometimes prickly exteriors, the staff genuinely cares about your shipments and ensuring you have a good experience. They'll go above and beyond, even if it means cracking a joke to lighten the mood or adding a dash of sinister humor to the mix.So there you have it, folks. "The UPS Store," a place of adventure, mystery, and occasional frustrations. Will you come out of there singing praises and dancing like a dervish? Maybe not. But you'll get the job done, and that, my friends, is what matters.

I had made an online purchase and the items were taken (unfortunately) to the Snell Avenue UPS Store to be packed and shipped to me by Saumil Shah. From the very beginning of the experience, he was rude, bullying and condescending. Well from there it only got worse! He packed all of the the items in a box using absolutely no bubble wrap only placing the items in thin plastic bags. Of course when I received the package there was damage to several of the items. When I called him to initiate a claim, he started to bully and stated that "there was no way that there could have been any damage" (actually, there was pretty much no way that there could not have been any damage). When I told him that the items were only put inside thin plastic bags, he stated that if he had used bubble wrap it would have been much more expensive. Now, if he had used bubble wrap for my package, which he didn't, he would have been significantly overcharging me at nearly $200. But using plastic bags went into the category of opportunism and gouging.Unfortunately, the price gouging wasn't the worst part of this situation. Per UPS policy, UPS Store owners must file claims when items are shipped from a UPS Store. After I requested a claim be opened, there was no follow up from Saumil for over a week so I called him for an update. When I asked him for the claim number, he told me that UPS does not assign claim numbers until after the disposition of the investigation. THAT WAS A LIE! (and yes Saumil, I have this on recording as I record all of my business calls). It is also what is known as "FRAUD" in legal circles. After contacting the UPS corporate office, I confirmed that there was indeed no claim opened by Saumil. So in conclusion, Saumil is willing to gouge his customers on the front end of a business transaction and commit fraud on the back end. Does this sound like someone that you should do business with?

Shipping is fine, never had a problem with dropping a package off for return or shipping anything out - but don't waste your time or money going here for passport photos. They cost almost $20, they're the wrong size, and they put the camera right in your face so it's all distorted. They don't even have a stapler available to staple the photos to the passport application. Complete waste of money and time.
