This is probably the worst post office in the United States . The female staff (From the yelp reviews, I know her name is Stephany ) treated the customers so bad .She is MEAN and RUDE . She enjoys lecturing the customers for passport applications and yelling at the customers for packages picking up. Threatened to send their packages back to the senders .
Please remember that the customers are local residents and homeowners . There is no mail delivery in that community for years . The only way to get their US post packages is through the post office box . She questioned them who own the packages and who lives in the same household . This is ridiculous. The customers have the P.O. Box keys , they own the their packages .

I have a good experience with the staff for passport. I came after lunch to try my luck with walk in without appt and the staff was able to accommodate me since there was a last minute cancellation . Easy breezy once you have all the doc ready. I do have online appt at this location on different date and they asked me to cancel immediately so others can book it.

We helped our child apply for a passport, but the service staff's various subtle expressions—such as sneering, frowning, and so on—made us feel very uncomfortable, with a hint of discrimination.

On 03/25/25, me and my daughter went to apply for a passport. The employee that helped us was very rushy and rude, did not give us a chance to ask a question or clarify any doubts or questions we have. When I asked to whom do I have to make the check payable to, she told me to look on the wall in a rude tone. On the wall, there are several posters and it took some time to figure out where that information is that I need. The way that she behaved, you don't feel like you wanted to ask anything even though I have questions.
Most important thing is she took my daughter's phone and filled out the survey by herself. It was very annoying and mind boggling. She asked us to fill out the survey and asked the phone to scan the QR code. She scanned the QR code and filled the survey for us without telling us. When I asked her she told us that it was just a basic survey. She is giving every customer a sloppy service, and she knows what everyone is going to review about the experience with her. That way she is giving herself a five star review for most of the passport transactions she processed. All of the good reviews about her probably be filled out by her, not by the customers. I have had her before several times at Alviso branch, her behavior was always rude.
Survey has to be filled out by the customer about the experience they had with the employee of the postal service. This act of don't care attitude and filling out the survey by the employees for the customers without letting them know is NOT acceptable.

The ideal location to schedule early passport appointments is the small post office. There is ample parking within the gated complex, which is located on Gold Street immediately after the bridge. The most kind and compassionate person I have ever met is this young man who is shown here holding baby N. Your appointment needs to be scheduled here!

Small post office and best place to get early passport appointments. Located on gold street just after the bridge, has plenty of parking inside the gated complex. Lady at the counter is super fast for passport appts.

Interacted with the “unfriendly lady” everyone is complaining about. At first I found her rude but then I realized she’s not so bad, just a bit blunt, by the book, and with a unique style of social interaction.

Very Bad ( Terrible customer service )on this post office, the worst experience I had, Never coming back to this office to renew my passport, this lady was so rude , and treat me so bad, person like her shouldn’t work here.!

This is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The lady was very rude and not considerate whatsoever. She also had a bad tone in her voice and was not helpful. She kept trying to be right about everything, even though she wasn’t. I will not be coming back to this location and neither should anyone. There’s a reason why this place has a lot of 1 stars and it’s about the same lady.

We went to make passports and it was the worst experience. The one who is responsible was very tough, never smiled once and her way of talking was very strict. For sure we will never go there again.
