Decent Chinese food for that specific area. You get what you get (and you cant throw a fit, right?). There are better choices 15 min away, but sometimes I just don't want to drive 15 min after a long day, so I settle for Yen Ching. They are decently priced and my kids eat it. We usually order the bbq pork fried rice with a side of broccoli sauteed with garlic. The broccoli is nice and tender and full of the tossed garlic flavor. I also get a side of wet flat noodles with beef and black bean pepper sauce. The service is amazing; they are so nice. The place is owned by a husband and wife and you can almost see their life journey here through their business.

$12.48 for this plate... The chow mein is really slimy cooked with more bean sprout then actual noodles. It tastes extremely bland. They charged me on a combo plate for substituting Fried Rice rather than the Fried Chicken. The BBQ Pork is drowning in the sauce... Will not be coming back.

11/24/23 @1pm. Local neighborhood Chinese restaurant fast food cooked fresh to your taste. The owners know the regulars by name. Well worth the wait to get freshly cooked.

This mom-pop shop makes everything to order and the combos are as affordable as Panda Express! We love this place and will definitely frequent it in the coming years :) My husband is Chinese and he said it's one of the best spots for Chinese cuisine in the area.

Great MA and PA restaurant which goes the extra mile for seniors. If you are a regular they know your order and how you want it prepared. Great service and the lunch specials are well portioned and hot.

Nicest lady ever. Super friendly. Food was solid and reasonably priced. Pretty good portions and didn’t skimp on the meat (which I feel a lot of places have done). I’ve found my new go-to Chinese place in SJ

Hole in the wall family run to-go place that serves real American Chinese food and anchored well in the locale. The beef chow fun had the prerequisite wok hei. The salt-pepper fish fillet is well seasoned. Of course, we tried the egg fuyong and chop suey. Egg fuyong is done well. The chip suey is better and more tasty than the historical one in SLO's oldest Chinese food place. Portions are huge and price is good. Worth a revisit.

Really nice folks that run this place. Take out is pretty inexpensive but they give generous portions and it taste good. I come here regularly for a quick bite and get a #3 combo.

This is your typical hole-in-the-wall greasy Chinese food joint whose sole purpose is to serve you filling food with no nonsense!I've been here a couple times now. First time I ordered the beef chow fun and it was very satisfying! Portion size is large and price is very reasonable. The serving lady is super nice too! I decided to dine in since I needed to rush to my next thing right away, and she was super sweet and came to check on me a few times.Second time I ordered broccoli beef with white rice, and it was solid as well. I got a giant amount of rice and the serving lady even came out and asked if I wanted more lol. Will I come back? Yes whenever I'm in this area and craving Chinese food!

I am not joking when I say this is my favorite Chinese food ever. For some place that is supposed to be just to take out it is fantastic. My favorite is the wonton soup I have literally had no better wonton soup than the one here. If you're sick it will make you feel better and if you're not it is like a big warm hug for your stomach it is divine. Owners are super friendly and very good at telling you what they like in their opinion and what to order. They are the type of place that if you go enough frequently they will start to remember your name. My parents have gone and taken me there since I was a baby and every time I am in town I stop by and get something to eat. Please please give this place a try you will not regret it. They do have a little dining option where you can sit there and eat but only for a maximum of four people at one table and then another table holds two. I will always love this place and always stop by. The owners Nancy and her husband are sweethearts and wonderful people and the food is amazing.
